I just finished my own tree job, now I'm eating lunch watching someone else's tree job. This is my life.
Sounds great 😁
This is my chainsaw, there are many like it, but this one is mine.
I'm only cutting firewood for myself. Cutting trees only with hydraulik hub box. 😂
28 years in the industry myself…52yrs old now and l still love this shit.🤘🏼

24:15 is priceless, never stop having the mentality of training and teaching. You saw that he wanted to try the "Fancy" saw and you provided him an opportunity that he might have never had. Then to top it off, you took some time to teach, again, PRICELESS. This is a type of work ethic that we all need to strive for.

The Chunk-O-Meter was a great touch, especially for giving context to how much work you're doing
It was a great job. Customer was very happy. Thanks Jake!
Thanks for having me out Dave!
You're an amazing person, Dave, may God never leave your side.
Thank you. I’m very greatfull for his grace.
Dave just PRAYED????? Yes YES YYEESS thank-you guys for the love and respect shown. 100% In board w/ this show now. Was interested before this, now I know why. Love it guys so refreshing.
You can't go wrong with prayers before starting your job.
Great job Jacob. That's definitely a lot of cutting. Because I'm older than Dave I appreciate how hard that guy is working. I always encourage older guys to keep moving instead of letting time catch up to them.
I'm going to be 71 this year and I push myself everyday.
Thanks Dan! Keeps the joints moving.
@@KanaskatTreeService
I was real glad to see that.
That's all I did yesterday. Blocked down a tree and moved all the rounds.
I hear that brother I just turned 40 I've been cuttin climbing for 22 years I feel it in my body I hope when I'm 70y I can still do it I'm going to damn sure try God bless
@@br-dj2ti I'm sure you'll be able to do it if you just be careful and don't get hurt. Lifetime injuries are stuff that comes back to bite you when you get older. I've broken both of my legs when I was young (left 1977)
(right 2000) but luckily they don't restrict me from doing my work. Arthritis in my left foot and three steel plates and 20 screws in my right leg.
I got lucky.
@@danpowell3750 I will do my best buddy God bless
Seeing you pray before the job made me appreciate you even more. You are not just a great person but a great Christian as well! May God bless you and your family!!
Couldn't have said it better
Oh man… I absolutely loved the video. Had a bad day with shitty news, but this half an hour, genuinely made my day, and gave me a smile again. Thank you Jacob. Thankyou!!!
Well bro, I don't know you, I don't know what you're going through, but I can promise you one thing: you'll get through it. It probably will be hard, but God is on your side, so is your willpower. Be unbreakable, things will get better.
What bad news friend if you wanna tell us?
@@whotf888thankyou buddy. Eventhough I see your comment only now, I genuinely appreciate it. And you’re 100% correct 🙏❤️
@@MadMax-yq9ixhey man, thankyou for your interest, like I said on the comment above, I only saw this. I appreciate your interest man. One of my then best friends was involved in a big hotel fire, leaving him in a 5 day induced coma. Absolutely horrendous. When the video came out, I just received that news, and this genuinely gave me a kick under my butt to get my crap together, be strong, and help his family out the best I could. Sadly we’re not longer friends. He genuinely thinks I did adult things with his girlfriend while he was in hospital, which I absolutely did not do. Its sad that it went like this, but I can look myself in the mirror knowing I was there, when people needed someone, and I did the best I can do. Yes, it hurts, but Im finding peace with it.
@@PimSchouten I was not expecting a reply in the 1st place, I understand that people have better things to do than reply to messages from internet strangers. I just hoped my message greets you well.
And that folks is why you port chainsaws. Good to see people pray before work.
I can’t speak for anybody else, but myself. I thoroughly enjoyed watching both videos. Everybody that was on this job site with Jacob worked and worked really good and hard and smart. But, out of everybody, there’s always a VIP and Jacob both days was most definitely THE, VIP, Employee.
I'm not a believer but i like when people pray genuinely
Why?
@@aliciachapman2956 idk i just like it
Love to see an arborist tuning a carb in a tree. That's when you know someone has reached a higher level then most with their craft.
Ayo shout out to Dave he seems real cool chill safety oriented and the prayer to start the day really shows his character!
I'm a gardener but this came up in my feed...I'm addicted! I may spend Sunday afternoon binging on Guilty of Treeson😂
A young Tom Hanks cutting down trees!
Brilliant, really enjoyed this and part 1 also!
Stay Sappy🌳🪓
Seeing these really puts into perspective how nice a crane is for jobs like this
problem is a crane is expensive and some areas such as this there is such limited access that a crane would not be a viable thing
@@jays106 thanks Einstein
@@II-wp8wu You responded like an asshole for no particular reason.
Love that you guys pray before working!!! Keep being the Light. God bless you.
I always enjoy watching a PROFESSIONAL TREE TRIMMER. Ones that know what they are doing and very little damage (just indentations into ground when a large piece hits the ground)and a little clean up. Great job guys
I loved the prayer before getting to work! Awesome video!
I'm so glad you're pushing your store more!
More to come!
Awesome video, Absolutely love that you pray before you start work😊
Thank you for sharing!
You getting that guy involved at the end was awesome man!
Was nice to see him teach the youngster something!
Like the start with prayer. For how high up you were it was definitely needed.
Missed 1 on the chunk o meter. The 2 saws racing on the last log? That last cut resulted in 2 pieces so it should have gone from 155 to 157!
I love that he prays. Keep working with him.
I love it how you guys pray!!!
When you were talking about efficiency I absolutely agree. When I got a few guys to help on the ground I made small cuts. Everyone was moving. Job was 90% done when my spurs hit the dirt to throw the stub. By the time I stripped off my gear all I had to do was help lift the big chunks and we were done. One guy was always raking and collecting little twigs.
Whilst not being religious myself, I have to admire the way and manner in which you conduct your faith, and your behaviour. Its good to see someone who doesn't give a damn what anyone else thinks, that the way you live, and so be it.
Makes me wonder why use safety gear when the prayers should work just fine?
@@iamaduckquackMany of them out there fully geared up with safety equipment but still fckd up anyway.
Any explanation?
For me, spiritual thingy works like "hope" works in human life, when you are finished with all the efforts you could possibly done, there is nothing wrong for a little "hope" that everything should go according to plan.
I love the fact that you think of the other crew and help make their job more efficient even though it's a little more time on your part by cutting smaller chunks. Team oriented!
You all are so brave and noble. Quick question, whatever happened to the baby squirrel 🐿️?
This is the first time seeing your channel I just wanna thank you guys for showing your prayer in the beginning of the video it’s really nice to see the god still active
Keeping priorities straight.. HE protects us, free of charge ❤
Dope vlog per usual bruh✊🏾✊🏾✊🏾 and that butter af notch at the end 🤌🏾🤌🏾😮💨😮💨 next time you have a hundred feet of chunkin out, try the double chunk method. Conserves energy and keeps saw in the cut while you push the top chunk. Cut all the way thru the top chunk and then drop down and start your second chunk a 1/4-1/2 way thru so it holds your saw for you. And then push your top chunk off and continue cutting your second chunk . ✊🏾✊🏾✊🏾✊🏾
I marveled at how Jacob dropped each piece at almost the EXACT same place every time - that's prosecution professional work - Great videos Sir Jacob and the Crew
Love the morning prayers 🙏
You're obviously a professional because being safe is more important to you than being cool which makes you cool!!
"Dude..what a befitting handle.. you are definitely "Guilty of Treason"..your none fear of height..is commendable"!!
That was cool. We had 6 trees removed from our property for fear that they would fall on our home. It took 2 days. The guys and girls were great. It was amazing to see the guys strapped to the trees with a chain saw in their hands. Thank you for your service.
I love the prayer before work!
Can’t beat ported an square ground that’s a lot of chuckin 👊
I'm scared of heights, but I've always like climbing trees, ridding Rollercoaster. Flying in airplanes and even rock climbing. First video of your's I watched was this jobs first video. I subbed good video sir.
Love the commentary ! Great job
Those 2 trunks would have made one hell of a slingshot or swing set.
Great job! Nice crew you were working with! I appreciate your generosity in sharing information in a kind way!❤
Greetings from Finland, you have interesting and educational videos. Thank you.
You don't have to be religious to accept a good prayer before a climb. Great job brother
I am in awe at how you cut ✂️ 🙂 down trees 🌳 😳 it is amazing 👏 to see 👀. There are many profession we know nothing about. It's good to learn 😌 👌.
Amen : )
Thanks for sharing the prayers in the video. We do the same before jobs.
Geeze, I have a hard enough time resetting my chain on the ground.
Jacob does it while hanging off a tree and using the top of the stick as his workbench!
My thoughts exactly!
I would have dropped the side cover and at least one of the nuts. Nice job Jacob!
Wow! This was INTERESTING! Just happened to stumbled on this Channel! Never knew what skill it takes to cut a Tree! Enjoyed this video!☺👍
I know nothing about tree-trimming but it’s obvious that you are a master of the craft. I have new respect for what you do. Seeing the height you reached made me break out in a cold sweat. 😮💨
Your prayers before working the job really made an impression on me. You have my total respect. Work safe.
Wow ,what a job, hats off to you ❤
I forgot how much I love people from eastern Washington.
Loved hearing the prayer!
Love the prayer before work!
Thanks for leaving the prayer in
loving the Chunk-O-Meter
I love that y’all pray
I'm not religious nor was I born in America but I gotta say these are the types of people everybody looks up to at some point in their life. Good job guys!
Cheers from Central Europe 👍
Glad to hear you guys praying before the job. Good to have the Lord’s protection over you. He’s so good!
23:00 dayum that was a nice cut!
Steady is fast and fast is steady … I like how you think Jacob . Great video.
I never thought of just using my arm to measure out chunks for firewood sized pieces... That's a good tip!
Amen... Lots of fun watching you all work so hard..
I've been doing tree work for 3 years now and I've pretty much watched your videos everyday Jake! You motivate me to learn more and more everyday and I take what I learn from your videos to work with me 💪. I've just recently started climbing and I'm loving it.
That is awesome!
@@GuiltyofTreesonHallo junger Baumfäller. Gute Arbeit.
really great video as usual
DUDE. ALWAYS ADD THE CHUNK-O-METER FROM NOW ON. That really puts these tree jobs into perspective.
Waiting on this. Banged a hole out. Awesome work.
Stay safe
The joy of efficiency! Great work all round. 👍
Thanks 👍
I advise you to put, at the end of the video, a before and after, with trees and without trees. for those who watch I assure you that it is satisfactory 😊
Hard to comprehend that amount of wood split and stacked. Great video sir.
No doubt!
I think we will split and stack it all and report how many cords cs the chunk o meter
BEAUTIFUL WORK!! I hope this wood was put into good use.
I’m drying it now. Will be heating my home with it next winter.
Got my Silky from ya today...stoked!
Thanks,
Justin
double stack has RETURNED
From an old guy. If you lead the cut with the bottom of the chain,,, normal,, the chain clears all the chips out and then when you finish to cut the weight of the wood settles on to the bar and chain. BUT If you cut with the top of the bar when chunking it,, particularly when the chunks begin to be of size and weight,, the sawdust packs the cut,, and the chunk sits on the sawdust,, not the bar and chain. When the chunks get large, cut it backwards. Saves having to lever the bar and chain out from under the chunk.
Love watching your videos I can learn a lot from you how to cut up a tree
23:00 beautiful.🤘🏼
Thanks for the work you put into making theses videos.
Glad you like them!
Why is this so satisfying 😂
I agree with you 2:30 crazy job
Another video I'm excited buddy I hope all is well Jake God bless your amazing my friend Jed is watching over you now don't know if I told you my best friend in the world he was also a tree climber as myself we work together side-by-side for over 16 years together his daughter was born four hours before my son we were talking to each other in the hospital best bucket collapsed on him about six years ago and he passed away it broke my heart man but everyday I think about him when I'm in the trees everyday of my life God bless Jake
From a production and manufacturing background, the quickest way would be to chunk them into 3-4’ sections on a plastic sled (jet sleds=OP) can stack 4-5 big ones on their and move it w a soft tired quad or mini track machine to haul them to the chipper, a chipper w a claw to grab them off the sled would be 💰
Love watching your videos jake!
Add a Rings Counter as well. Looks to be 40-50 years old. Great vids. Thanks!
I like the store thank you for having NANO chain in stock
Great job Jacob I hope you’re charging well you deserve it it used to be my job in the uk never charged enough 😊
Shout out to the young guy grinding on the weekends when he could be doing literally anything else
I got cold feet watching this guy . great video . Please don't make mistake by cutting your hardness .
Wow you work fast...
Specialy at the end
Always wondered this! Thank you 🍻
Honor and glory to the risen King 👍👍👍
Great video, I enjoy watching all your videos, keep up the good work stay safe.
Amazing Skill!!!!
NICE WORK !!!!!!! CHEERS and GOD BLESS ~~~~~~~~~~
Great work....good crew!! Love the video!!
That's a LOT of Firewood
Great job
Love the chunk o meter
Impressive work. I could never work up so high. Those working in their gardens always check local rules eg where I live (conservation area) even if a particular tree does not have a Tree Preservation Order on it we have to give 6 weeks notice to the council before doing tree work which is then published to give time for objections and if none then can take it out.
Great work. Enjoyed watching the work you do . Definitely Guilty of TreeSon fun. 😂
Always a blast watching your videos, I learned a lot from you!!
Awesome, thank you!
