Finally an honest person selling curries for the price they are actually worth. Hope he prospers and does well unlike all other Indian restaurants that rip you off.
lol do you even know how many ingredients and efforts go into making these gravies ?? So you want it to be same price as McDonald’s which is fried potatoes and bun. Try cooking good Indian meal at home yourself and then ask yourself how much would you charge for that if you had to sell.
Come on buddy, get down to Sabri Saravana at Carrum downs. Go cop a $23 buffet on the weekend. Not sure what trash place you been going to paying 35 for a curry that's exorbitant
30 years ago, there was an Indian place on the corner of Moreland and Sydney road that did meals for $3.50. On the other side of the road was the Moreland hotel. Great topless bar, and plenty of freshly released prisoners from Pentridge to have a beer with. I'm so glad that neck of the woods has changed. It was rough.
Nah mate. Singh's Indian on Nicholson is hands down the best in Melbourne. It's not much to look at outside but the food is amazing. He's been there for 40 years or something so there must be a reason why 👍😁
I’ve a patient who comes to see me in Melbourne. He lives an hour away from Traralgon. He told me that since covid, the steak at his local pub costs $42! So, please ask yourselves why ‘Indian’ should cost only $10? Also, my dad taught me that you get what you pay for - check out portion sizes before you diss your favourite place!
Steak is incomparable to Indian food. Indian ingredients are cheap af, even when buying retail from an indian supermarket here. Not that I'd ever pay $40 for a steak anyway
It’s handi….. which actually means the clay pot….the chicken in cooked in that which gives it a earthy flavour( in India) don’t know if they do that here though.
@@Wesda That's fine thanks. I only live 20 minutes up the road & my brother loves in Brunswick so I'm going to go there for dinner (tea) one night soon. Although I prefer to pay cash, swiping my card is fine too.
Just moved here from England and the curries so far are well not what I am used to. The chicken isn’t even breast and they all taste like tomato soup. Where’s best curry to go to?
Curries in England is MUCH BETTER than whats available here in Australia *in general*. In fact, I remember going into pubs in Solihull near Birmingham, when I used to be a vegeterian, and they would serve me absolutely delicious rice, kidneybeans curry with papad and a pint of Guinness - heavenly!
@Wesda You can call me Stuart and I love my spice but that looked dodgy and like I said if a place is empty there's a reason...I make better Indian food at home anyway thanks to an Indian Housemate I had years ago who tought me quite a lot

Why is "no human interaction" better? I don't understand
I agree, It's sad that people actively seek to avoid their fellow humans.
@@camlon2 yeah because the interaction of ordering food and tapping a card is so wholesome.
