Goth Rock at it's best and not that far away from the out and out hard rock they were to delve further into in the 'Electric' album follow up. 'Love' is an absolute gem and an all time favourite of mine. 'Electric' ranks not that far behind. Remember seeing them on the Electric tour way back in 1987 in Portsmouth, England . One of the best gigs I've ever been to. Golden memories.
The Cult, by far, deserves more recognition for "revolutionizing" the "scene". that "glam"style everyone so loves, comes from these men. before The Cult, yall know damn well rock n roll was still hippies and mustaches...maybe a Steppenwolf born to be wild in 79, but that's it. The Cult is so AWESOME, it's almost as if some magical manager Resurrected Hank Williams Senior, John Lennon, Elvis Presley, and Jim Morrison and made one amazing supergroup... And Billy Duffy well here's to you mr. President
STILL HERE 2019. 39401. IAN/BILLY STILL BRINGING IT!

So easy now to poke fun at all the 80's styles and events. Say what you want, people just had fun back then and didn't worry about all the bs that goes on like it does today.
Excellent comment! I was 22 when this song came out and we ROCKED HARD at the night clubs back then. Fuck Social Media and all the smart phones! Didn't need 'em back then.
They should have kept this look and vibe. The Rick Rubin horseshit was good short-term but a diversion in the grand scheme of things that messed them up.
And I know this has nothing to do with the cult... LOL... But Slash is my hero... when I saw Welcome to the Jungle on MTV in 1987 when I was 10 years old and I saw slash, that's when I knew what I wanted to do with my life
The cult criminally underated
The Bass is strong with this one
I was there back in 1986. They were absolutely the best band that day. Was just awesome, I will never forget it.
Baddass. I was born in the wrong age.! Feel like an alien amongst trap stars? Lol!
Ian’s voice is so underrated. Such cool band ✌️
@MOONLIGHT LOVE 🌙💓 not when you live in a society and economic system that turns even human, emotional expression into a commodity.
@@nightrain1121 so true
This is such an insanely great live performance. Easily my favourite version of this song.
Jamie Stewart is just so good at the groove of this song. I just think and wish he would come back and do at least four more albums with them.
One of my favorite bands. Love this song and album.
Here in New Zealand we love this authentic classic band
They sound tight . Ian's voice is great. Live music played well. What a concept.
No he doesn't sound good. He sounds average.
How cool can you get ?? They all look sooo brilliant - even now. Billy Duffy - That hair AND an Iron cross !! I mean just how awesome can you get ??

Holy shit! Slightly a cross between Joy Duvision and the Furs but still a Cult-like sound unique to them. Damn!
One of the best live performances!
STILL HERE 2019.

I love you guys, all of you. thank you so much for all of the great music. it means everything to me.
Love this band love this song said it before and I’ll say it again it’s a number one song that wasn’t even in the top 50.
Saw Cult 6 times in the 80s once in the 90s about the best live band I've seen ❣️💋
Love one of best album from 80♥️😍
Love is the best album of ever
Whoa! Was that Billy Idol on guitar & Freddie Mercury singing?? Awesome!!🥰
Oh, That hair! Hard to believe this was decades ago, and it’s STILL on point.
o mais carismático é o Jamie Stewart ⚡ eu adoro ouvir o som do baixo nessa música mitológica
My FAVE Cult song...
An ode to all women of natural sexuality 🌹

Ian was on fire on this!
My leg is still shaking 240 bpm.
Temazoooo

Great video, do you know where this concert was?
I was there, lazy sunday afternoon. No traces of southern death cult or death cult left. Ok but not much more.
kai salonen Dreamtime was better than Death Cult.
Nominay i agree
What a great afternoon. Much better than the dirge of today.
1989-90 these bitches killed it!
O melhor!!!
Every now and then Ian reminds me of a young Freddie Mercury.
Yes totally agree i can see it now
Anyone know what venue was this show at?
❤💌💘
Da ef these guys are killa
Holy fucking shit
Who is at drums?
ottimi
Astbury was the sexiest band frontmen. I'm not gay but he just was.
This one is intense 😳 😬 😅 😫 😐 😩 😳 😬
Mañana en Lima y me lo perdere....porqueeeeee
Joey Ramone's Hair !!!
sounds like david bowie from 70’s
They are so cult
great song but the backup vocal sounds drunk, like dim from a clockwork orange
drunks often sound drunk
Ian Astbury sounds amateur here.
Ian as a Joey Ramone impersonator, all the way, including the odd note off.
Kultti provinsissa . Perkule kun tonne olis "kerinny"
Bass line: properly laid
They should have kept this look and vibe. The Rick Rubin horseshit was good short-term but a diversion in the grand scheme of things that messed them up.
So cult
Ians hammered but still cool af
y all hiring?
L ha fatta un tono sotto
The cult better than guns n roses 💯 percent live killer show
Ian was stoned as a ‘garnaal’ 😂
2:27 Charlie Sheen
He was going through his Amanda Bynes phase
aerosmith like ? just a little ...
I don’t see that at all.
@@gimmetaco2037 Hi you are right I know this only song from them .... maybe there are others Aerosmiths have more hits ...
Band is great, singer blows hard.
And I know this has nothing to do with the cult... LOL... But Slash is my hero... when I saw Welcome to the Jungle on MTV in 1987 when I was 10 years old and I saw slash, that's when I knew what I wanted to do with my life
