Great Q&A session. I have been following for a long time and am pleased for you all. Totally agree on the boat. Nothing more sad than a boat on the roof of a car 1000km from water. I wish you peace and happiness on your travels and look forward to watching your adventures.

Cheers Dan! Sounds like an awesome van mate 🙏 Honestly we’ve done exactly what you have - which is stick with whats worked for us in the past 👍🏼 We’ve just sold our Melbourne made van that we sunk 140k into to get it up to spec. We had issues from new, manufacturer and dealer support were horrendous. It spent months getting warranty work/repairs/rewiring etc, and it was never the size or layout that we actually wanted. On the flip side, we’ve also had an imported van in the past that we had no issues with, customer service and aftermarket support were fantastic and i had complete faith in dragging it anywhere the car could go. G'day guys, an interesting summary. The weight conundrum is a real problem with all caravaners, most vans have so many storage cupboards, boots etc ,fill 3 water tanks and many items in the storage areas with is very hard to stay under weight. Your decision to reduce the heavier accessories was wise decision. We pack light if in doubt, leave it at home. I think with some comments received about the vans, some youtubers are ambassadors to a brand they are changing their vans every 12 months or so, the viewer doesn't get an accurate accessment of what the van is really like and possibly hard to get an accurate appraisal of the van. Safe travels.
10:05 I put a longitudinal slice in a pool noodle to protect my grey water tanks outlet pipes (try to source the hollow ones, secure with zip ties); all my other piping is protected by bash plates or tucked right up out of the way.
@@WildTouringsorry mate but not all are. If you look hard enough, you will find great value Aussie caravans that spec for spec are on par with these Chinese vans for $$$ if not cheaper.
In regard to the PVC piping, if you intend to do long distance on dirt I would get them covered with something like the black plumbing tube from Bunnings - they are most definitely going to get fractured from stones flying up. I am talking long distance like the Plenty Hwy or down through Birdsville, Boulia to Longreach, not so much the GCR. Also…. Doesn’t matter where your van comes from it is the after sale service that counts if issues do arise. I can tell you that Cameron caravans in Albany offered great service to us on more than one occasion even though we didn’t have a Cameron’s caravan.
I tend to agree, for a $145k I completely assumed it was 100% Australian made, if you're willing to pay $145k for an offroad Caravan to do a lap you'd be better off spending the extra coin on a Zone etc...
That was such a good upload Cam & Tiff. I can see why you would like to do the Cape with Alex because he used to build caravans 😂😁. Have an awesome trip so happy you are doing the Flinders and Tanami on your lap. Try to fit in Arkaroola and the Gammon Ranges if you have time.

Lovely ep and chat guys, In May June this year I towed our 5m tinny from Cooroy QLD to the Gibb and upto McGowans Island and stayed there nearly 4 weeks fishing and sussing the place out was awesome, And I did the Tanami and plenty on the way home I found all the roads good and was awesome to see the different areas, and Wolf creek craytor, You will have no troubles finding people to fish with on your travels, Enjoy your trip,
Oh the budget! We now do 3-4 month runs across Oz, The price of everything seems to be going up, but we do a top end budget of $1.00 per kilometre. In most cases we end up doing 30/40% more kilometres than originally budgeted. For what it’s worth, that seems to fairly accurate - unfortunately.
I believe your levelling ideas are solid. I heard last weekend at a caravan show that some makers are withdrawing their auto-levelling options due to too many problems. Your choice allows you to level, jack and stablise. I, personally love the Bos products. I dont think you'll have any regrets.
Nice Q&A I’ve been following along for a long time. You guys are one of the few creators that has always maintained your integrity I’m personally looking forward to your review of the Van down the track. We hit the road in May next year will see you on the tracks.
Great video. I run the boss setup the same way for leveling and leveling works a treat with the app even if staying hitched up. Looking forward to your lap planning we are in the mix of it too

Fantastic episode as usual, some people ask the darnedest things. Not biting off too much but let's borrow a van, sell our van and our house, set off on a lap while we build a new house. Well done on keeping yourselves busy. On the East Coast if you are travelling through around school holidays, which are at different times to WA, be sure to book, especially in the tourist hot spots. Out west the weather is similar to the Pilbara, cold at night but pleasant during the day n if there has been rain avoid making your own tracks, black soil is like mangrove mud. If you want to do K'Gari definitely not in the school holidays or a long weekend.
Thanks mate! Yes we seem to operate well under a level of pressure 🤪 Appreciate the heads up on booking over East 🙏 definitely want to take Tiff and the kids to Fraser!
@WildTouring enjoy your travels, for a very quiet n chill spot in the NT Henbury Meteorite crater, is a national park but miles from nowhere n a great spot to stargaze or have a timelapse
🤣🤣🤣🤣 good opening Tiff. Looking forward to the next major trip guys. I'm hoping to be over around SA in Feb if plans go right. If our paths cross I'll shout you a drink or two. 🤣🤣👍😊
Comment about airbags, as I've run them on both trailers and vehicles over 25 years. You do end up with slow leaks over time but I've NEVER punctured an air-bag and that's a lot of off road including mine sites across Australia and trips like the CSR. Taking some spare air line and fittings is mostly all you need, and if they aren't fitted, having some valve inlets so you can inflate off a car compressor or a servo gets you out of trouble. On a van wouldn't want to NOT have air bags now, for levelling. Be interested to see how your van goes, it looks to have a lot of unprotected stuff underbody for the tracks you are going on.
Well your trip is just round the corner. Next minute you will be off. In regards to your van I bought a snowy I couldn't beat the price, and its structurally sound. Well the countdown has well and truely started
Well everything just sounds so exciting, so much change and so much to look forward to. You’ll be very busy 😂. The lap itinerary sounds amazing, so excited for the Flinders (incredible place), the Kimberley (my fave place on the planet), and Cape York. Hurry up March 😂😊😂😊
Thanks for sharing plans❤ A lot of fellow family caravan adventurers over east. Gonna be doing some collabs ya reckon? Plus some new cocktails to share 😁🍹
Good down to earth informative video but there was one thing that I felt you missed, I have had independent sprung vans and also airbag vans as well, to me the main benefit of the bags is ride quality and helping the structure of the van to survive the badly corrugated roads, until you have experienced the bags you would probably never understand. Yes you can have leakage problems but very minimal and usually on very cold nights and on long stays [3 weeks] in the one place and my bag van was a 2006 build, technology has probably progressed so much since then.
Cheers mate, and appreciate the insight 👍🏼 Have heard a few people comment on the ride quality-and it does make some sense, but I do find it hard to quantify! Can’t imagine you ‘feel’ any difference in the cab of the car? And we haven’t really ever had an issue with stuff rattling apart on corrugations either 🤷♂️ I know people do, I hear the horror stories of cabinetry falling apart and fridges/microwaves falling out. But it’s just never happened to us I guess! Lots of factors I suppose- some of that will be down to the vans/campers construction, track conditions, mechanical sympathy (driving to conditions/ airing down) etc. Can only go off your own experience and stick with what’s worked in the past hey!
28:45 that pic you showed is a tongue receiver, the hitch is on the van. Thousands would say otherwise but if you want to order a hitch for your van, you order a hitch e.g. DOx5. That said, if what one says makes sense, then speak a common language 😁
Probably built better than Aussie vans anyway! I'm in the trades and some of the quality and workmanship is atrocious , not to mention the work ethics of the modern Australian tradie, they all want to work 3 days a week but earn 200k per year for as little as possible. There's still a limited number that do quality work but they're few and far between. Great van and I'll go out on a limb abd say you'll have a better experience with this van than most Aussie built ones. Good luck.
Can you feel that from In the car? Or have you noticed less damage to the van? We’ve never really had issues with things rattling apart in caravans! Touch wood 👉 🪵
Cmon tiff leave the big fella alone , there ain't nothing wrong with his intro haha. What else is he ment to say? 😅😅😅😅 great vid guys love the channel.
I wrapped my PVC pipes with pool noodles just to be on the safe side after my previous van had it's only PVC pipe broken by rocks which caused issues until fixed.
Induction is probably the first thing I would have optioned for, with that amount of battery you have way enough for this and your other electrical goods, the best thing about induction is no heat from a gas hob that heats up the interior of the van, I have swapped from gas to induction and will never go back
We have the BOS legs and they are very good. If you have to lift one side quite high lift in increments front and back so not to twist the van. Check that your drill has enough power as well. 5/40 has been recommended for your car towing to reduce bearing heat issues. Just Autos YT have some good videos about it.
Love watching your adventures, enjoy your lap. So many great places in Queensland to visit but if get a chance go to Carnarvon Gorge, we stayed at Sandstone Park which is on the Ridge nice sunrises
When you get up to Mataranka you gotta stay at Des N Telka's Little Roper Stock Camp, the kids will have an absolute blast. Wyndham is a must do as well while up the top end of WA. Would be awesome if you guys get to the Limestone Coast of SA would be awesome to catch you guys.
Great Q&A by the way, looking forward to your trip ✅😎 I'm also on YT Premium which is well worth it (no ads) as you get a few pennies if I watch the hole vid! I have the Boss 600mm on an Australian built, off-road van. I went to 600mm as I have a flat floor over 33" tyres, so I need some lift to change a tyre, which was demonstrated on collection. The trick is to keep the van hitched and wind up the affected side a bit at a time, either side. I have airbags from Air Bag Man which provides about 90% of the levelling, but I love the idea of the Oricom, so Ill order one tomorrow using WILD (Monday). It's gotta beat running around with a level to check the finer bits; I'm a bit OCD, so I like my head up a bit and a tilt to the driver's side for rain runoff on that side corner. Thanks!
Hi guys, Glad to hear you are going to visit the east coast. If you need any assistance or locations feel free to reach out for some great locations especially around Barrington tops and the Watagans Cheers Craig
February isnt far away! To be honest, NSW is crap for travellers if you're thinking of free camping. If youre not aware, the Allan government has been changing State Forests of Vic to National Parks so free camping in Vic will be changing in Vic. This has only been happening since late October 2024. Australia is really turning to shit for travellers and governments are attempting to profit from standing on a mountain to walking through a trail. Its bloody ridiculous 🙄
Great video as usual thanks guys. Looking forward to the adventure. Hearing you talking about cooking outside in the wind makes me want to ask how does the Ziggy perform in the wind? I currently use a Weber Q in the van but find it very susceptible to the wind. Wondering if the Ziggy might be better? Cheers
Another amazing video cant for next for you guys and your travels.... hope your house build go ok ... we live in rural and trying to build a house gone 3 years for us ...hope will be done time return ...safe travel
…Cam the Tradie holding his pencil on the ear…😂 I like the idea of a house build whilst on the lap….assuming you have someone you can trust to manage the build ? Cheers
🤣 haha the pencil on the ear is like 50% of what it takes to be a tradie isn’t it!? I think we’ll pay for an independent project manager/building supervisor or whatever they’re called to manage the build for us. To be honest, even if I was around- I wouldn’t have a clue what to look for anyway!
Cruisemaster XT bellow airbags with disc brakes would be best setup. Bos corner legs, don't believe there value for money, plastic gearbox cover are prone for damage on stoney roads, the rear out riggers look not strong enough to support. ?? Next vid measure size. Stabiliser rear on main chassis rail better idea
Interesting the sort of numbers getting thrown around these days to do this sort of thing imo. Certainly a budget of 4-500k wouldn't be out of the question or maybe more with bigger setups or breakdowns etc. That amount would have bought a house in many areas not too many years ago. Mind you we've just been quoted a very large premium increase on our home insurance premiums again this year after and even bigger one last year so staying home isn't that cheap either it seems. I would be interested to hear how the sale of your house goes as it will save you quite a bit in agent fees and the market there, and here, is still booming from what I see. Looking forward to what you think about SA as we love it here. Thanks for the video.
We sold a house ourselves, was a very simple process but I think what made it go so smoothly was the fact both parties used the same settlement agent ~ might be a handy suggestion for you 🤔 Great to see you almost back on the road again. You’ll find out the quality of your van when you get to the Tanami haha, we did it in 2022, the last of our ‘roads from hell’ list and it topped the list for sure! But we loved it, came off unscathed except for the table leg unscrewing. Took us 5 days it was so rough but it was late in the season (September). Said I’d never do it again, but I would 😂
Hi Tiff and Cam We Germans traveling in SA now. Great vid. Liked it. ❤ And foremost love to see you on the road. We are today on perlubie beach and heading to Currambine for Xmas with our son. First time that we booked places in busselton for January not easy but manageable with a small 14” van. Prices in Australia gone up allot… you will see it on the road in the shops. The hit was in Adelaide market 3 weeks ago 1 1 kg bio garlic 60.- AUD/kg. Normal garlic still ask for 30.- for import stuff. Future plans ? Go back to basic and start from scratch would be my recommendation? Cheers guys
Need to see those drop down legs level the van!!! 😳 Please do a video on that! Congratulations on being given the opportunity to take a van, use it for 12 months and hand it back with feedback... Your subscription tally speaks volumes of your integrity, haters are gunna hate, subscribers are gunna listen to what you have to say. Take the opportunity and run with it, we envy you! Dick Gerin
Cheers mate! I think everyone’s situation is different. But for us personally, we wouldn’t sell up to fund a 12mnth lap if we were planning to get back into a similar value house. Like you said, cars/caravans depreciate. Perth house prices have risen by 20% In the last year and a 12mnth lap will probably burn about 100k of your savings. So if we look at the last year, if we had sold up 12mnths ago to travel, and were trying to get back into the market right now. We’d be probably 300k behind (plus loss of wages if we were not working) to get into a similar value house. We had always planned to rent the house, and work on the road/ use savings to fund the trip.
Yeah it’s a brand new product from them. I’ve set it up and used it twice now. Seems to work well! Will chat about it in a future vid when I’ve had a bit more of a play with it 👍🏼
Everyone talks about towing weight, when weight distribution is more important, something few caravan manufacturers consider Congratulations on your decision to stop working, something I have been working towards for a long time. I’m a year from reaching my goal of $100k per year of passive income with little debt, then travel will be the priority Spent $500k on private schools which held me up for a while The word you’re looking for is “wing it”😂 Look forward to your travel posts, I’m not far behind
Ops… one more commence re leveling system and BOS items. They are great heavy and duty and pricy! 😊 😂 Ps. When you jack up the vans on 2 corners may your cabin gets allot stress ! To be considered ! As I have to restrict our weights in and on the van our leveling system is very simple and priceless! Just I Open 2 drawer north-south and east-west 1/2way and see to which direction they move. Ok, take into consideration where you head sleeps and give it a notch up that corner. Viola… that’s the simplest and cheapest leveling system…. Cheers
With the greatest respect, you’ve probably been in your WA bubble a bit too long if you think that having to book ahead in peak seasons is just a WA thing. I lived in WA for 6 years and see no difference between there and QLD or NSW in that respect. Please consider booking well ahead during long weekends, school holidays etc. otherwise you will definitely miss out.
The Chinese vans are heavier because their steel is not as good as Australian. There are many Chinese vans out there running two rear spare wheels to lower the tow ball weights.
You want to look we’re all steel comes from. Australia doesn’t have any furnaces to create steel. We have rolling mills only. All the steel comes from China. The iron ore comes from Australia. All the appliances are manufactured all over world ie domestic/ Thetford etc
@ go find out what is mixed in with the steel on these overpriced Chinese vans compared to a Jayco or a Patriot Camper, and then measure the thickness of the steel. All Chinese vans are thicker because the steel they use is crap and not as strong.
@@bushmagpie3312Except for the 3 million tonnes of blast furnace steel production at Port Kembla in Wollongong. But except for that, then yeah, none! Oh and whatever is produced at Whyalla in SA. Then, yeah none! 😅
Really bad idea selling your house and going around Oz … stay home and work !! Says this 68 yr old who’s as jealous as hell and wished he would have done it in our hey days. 👌😂😂😂 Enjoy and will be following your adventures. 👍 We still get out a couple of times a year up north which we love.
Wow that's a kick in the arse for Australian manufacturing, and with the price of Australian made. I can't talk as I brought an Opus camping trailer. Shame on you Cam for taking so long to do that benchtop. 🤣
Fair enough. And I honestly respect that stance. 🇦🇺 If you’ve watched us for a while you’ll know we’ve had an imported camper trailer and caravan before, and had a great run from them. I’m all for Aussie made. But not to the point where I’m willing to spend more, for less. I’d rather save that money to spend on my family. 🤷♂️

Cam seems so genuine and Tiff is 🔥
Well your trip is just round the corner. Next minute you will be off. In regards to your van I bought a snowy I couldn't beat the price, and its structurally sound. Well the countdown has well and truely started
Wow guys you have so much going on, your heads must be spinning 😂Hope the house sells soon so you can tick that off your list!
Check your wheel alignments and witness mark the suspension bolts.
✅ Witness marked and double nuts (jamming nut) to prevent anything coming loose 👌
Haha we can’t wait!!! 🎉 🥳
Thanks for sharing plans❤
A lot of fellow family caravan adventurers over east. Gonna be doing some collabs ya reckon? Plus some new cocktails to share 😁🍹
I reckon there will be a few!! 🍸 🎉
We did your exact trip March last year (your SA and start of NT). We didn’t book anything, even over Easter etc. SA just doesn’t get as busy as WA
That’s great to hear! 🙏
That Is So Correct Some Part Of Any Caravan Comes From China I Just Got A MDC SR19 I’m So Happy With The Finish Of It IM Stoked
Good friends of ours just got one too. They are loving it!
Great enjoy and may your Christmas be a blessed one
@@owenturner8489 thanks mate! Merry Christmas to you and yours 🎄
When on the East check Eungella National Park!!! The platypus were out and happy to play.
Cheers mate, and appreciate the insight 👍🏼
Have heard a few people comment on the ride quality-and it does make some sense, but I do find it hard to quantify!
Love the intro Tiff, more piss taking please haha. Great Q&A guys, looking forward to your lap as much as you guys are.
🤣 haha cheers mate 🙏
28:45 that pic you showed is a tongue receiver, the hitch is on the van. Thousands would say otherwise but if you want to order a hitch for your van, you order a hitch e.g. DOx5. That said, if what one says makes sense, then speak a common language 😁
We’ll see you on the road next year
Seee ya there! 🍻
Good luck.
Yarrongobilly Caves and Thermal Pools near Tumut, NSW is pretty sweet.
Absolutely bloody fantastic, education needs to be there on work life balance.... and this is certainly one of them...
Totally agree!
Having 24 V solar is great with victron controllers My 12 V 600 amp batteries stay charged even with the caravan cover on in storage
Another benefit in airbags is ride quality,
Can you feel that from In the car? Or have you noticed less damage to the van?
We’ve never really had issues with things rattling apart in caravans! Touch wood 👉 🪵
Mate we can look after ya boat for ya whilst ur away 😎
Cmon tiff leave the big fella alone , there ain't nothing wrong with his intro haha.
What else is he ment to say? 😅😅😅😅 great vid guys love the channel.
🤣 haha cheers mate!
I wrapped my PVC pipes with pool noodles just to be on the safe side after my previous van had it's only PVC pipe broken by rocks which caused issues until fixed.
Yeah see a lot of people doing the same. I’ll see how go!
Bad idea … there’s bits of pool noodles all up and down the Gibb River Road .. that stuff will be there forever !!
What do you mean, please?
People need to tape them better??
@merv190
Oh, we maybe in the Eyre at the same time 😃
Induction is probably the first thing I would have optioned for, with that amount of battery you have way enough for this and your other electrical goods, the best thing about induction is no heat from a gas hob that heats up the interior of the van, I have swapped from gas to induction and will never go back
Yeah fair enough, and you’re not alone on that one! It was an option, but it’s just not for me!
We have the BOS legs and they are very good. If you have to lift one side quite high lift in increments front and back so not to twist the van. Check that your drill has enough power as well. 5/40 has been recommended for your car towing to reduce bearing heat issues. Just Autos YT have some good videos about it.
Does it stop the movement in the van? When moving around?
@@boxheadmr Yes just the same as stabilizer legs. No need for ramps.
love your videos guys keep it up When you are in Qld next year visit the Yeppoon area and dont miss a visit to the Keppel Islands
Cheers mate! Will add it to the list 🙏
Love watching your adventures, enjoy your lap. So many great places in Queensland to visit but if get a chance go to Carnarvon Gorge, we stayed at Sandstone Park which is on the Ridge nice sunrises
It’s definitely on our list! 🙏
Great Q&A by the way, looking forward to your trip ✅😎
I'm also on YT Premium which is well worth it (no ads) as you get a few pennies if I watch the hole vid!
Thanks!
Hi guys,
Glad to hear you are going to visit the east coast.
If you need any assistance or locations feel free to reach out for some great locations especially around Barrington tops and the Watagans
Cheers
Craig
Thanks mate, appreciate it 🙏 will hit you up when we start planning over that way!
@ no problems
If you get a chance to look I’ve done quite a few videos on Watagans and Barrington tops.
Also put Stockton beach on the list
Dead right I've got boab 621 boss legs never used ramps and I've been everywhere over the last3yrs
That’s great to hear! Was hoping it would make life a bit easier 👍🏼
Cheers
Cheers mate!
Yeah I havnt really had any issues with the Ziggy in the wind!
Another amazing video cant for next for you guys and your travels.... hope your house build go ok ... we live in rural and trying to build a house gone 3 years for us ...hope will be done time return ...safe travel
…Cam the Tradie holding his pencil on the ear…😂
I like the idea of a house build whilst on the lap….assuming you have someone you can trust to manage the build ?
What we really want to see is Tiff do cams intro like that old bloke on 7news Tiff Wild.....looooong pause.....wild touring (slightly aggressively) 😂
Great episode thanks T&C :)
🙏 cheers mate!
How do you finance your lifestyle now and before new car and van?
Cruisemaster XT bellow airbags with disc brakes would be best setup.
Bos corner legs, don't believe there value for money, plastic gearbox cover are prone for damage on stoney roads, the rear out riggers look not strong enough to support. ?? Next vid measure size. Stabiliser rear on main chassis rail better idea
BOS gear is all new to me, but if it works how it’s supposed to then it should be good 👍🏼
Interesting the sort of numbers getting thrown around these days to do this sort of thing imo.
We can’t wait for SA! Really looking forward to it. And yes will update on the house situation when we sell 👍🏼
@@WildTouring We live in a very popular and well known tourist area so it will be interesting to see if you visit it on your travels.
Cheers.
We sold a house ourselves, was a very simple process but I think what made it go so smoothly was the fact both parties used the same settlement agent ~ might be a handy suggestion for you 🤔
Great to see you almost back on the road again. Said I’d never do it again, but I would 😂
I stripped gears in legs trying to levelling. Be careful.
Boss?
Hi Tiff and Cam
We Germans traveling in SA now.
Great vid. Liked it. ❤ And foremost love to see you on the road.
We are today on perlubie beach and heading to Currambine for Xmas with our son.
First time that we booked places in busselton for January not easy but manageable with a small 14” van.
Prices in Australia gone up allot… you will see it on the road in the shops.
The hit was in Adelaide market 3 weeks ago 1
1 kg bio garlic 60.- AUD/kg.
Dick Gerin
How many people would it take to comment “Tiff Wild, Wild Touring” to get Tiff to actually say it? 😂
great video guys. In your opinion, do you think is a mistake to sell a home to live on the road full time? I mean Caravans never appreciate in value
I cannot answer for them but I wouldn’t sell one of my two houses to fund it.
Have you tried the smart leveller at all? No videos I’ve found to show it in action
Yeah it’s a brand new product from them. I’ve set it up and used it twice now. Seems to work well! Will chat about it in a future vid when I’ve had a bit more of a play with it 👍🏼
U gotta do Vic high country. Must see region. Let me know if u need suggestions.
So keen! But could definitely use any suggestions!
Everyone talks about towing weight, when weight distribution is more important, something few caravan manufacturers consider
Congratulations on your decision to stop working, something I have been working towards for a long time. I’m a year from reaching my goal of $100k per year of passive income with little debt, then travel will be the priority
Spent $500k on private schools which held me up for a while
The word you’re looking for is “wing it”😂
Look forward to your travel posts, I’m not far behind
Ops… one more commence re leveling system and BOS items.
They are great heavy and duty and pricy! 😊 😂
Ps. When you jack up the vans on 2 corners may your cabin gets allot stress ! To be considered !
As I have to restrict our weights in and on the van our leveling system is very simple and priceless!
Just I
Open 2 drawer north-south and east-west 1/2way and see to which direction they move. Ok, take into consideration where you head sleeps and give it a notch up that corner.
Viola… that’s the simplest and cheapest leveling system….
Cheers
I like your method!
It’s funny we are so obsessed with being dead level on caravans. I’ve never bothered to check how level I am in a swag 🤣
Wow early mid life crises. Go for it
🤣 I think my whole life’s a midlife crisis hahah
Did the Tanami in 2022. Incredibly boring corrugated road and plan on never doing it again! 😂
Van looks great . Does Cameron Caravans have dealers on the east coast Cheers
No offence taken, and I am in aWA bubble permanently 🤣 appreciate the heads up 👍🏼
The Chinese vans are heavier because their steel is not as good as Australian.
@ maybe you should a bit more research before commenting about something you clearly know nothing about.
Haha what do you think Chinese steel is made from 😂
@ go find out what is mixed in with the steel on these overpriced Chinese vans compared to a Jayco or a Patriot Camper, and then measure the thickness of the steel.
Are all those chassis penetrations for ID plates and taps (@5:44) done after coating?!?!
Hey also what oil are you running??? We went with 530???
Can't believe you went Chinese made... good luck
Really bad idea selling your house and going around Oz … stay home and work !!
Says this 68 yr old who’s as jealous as hell and wished he would have done it in our hey days. 👌😂😂😂
Enjoy and will be following your adventures. 👍
We still get out a couple of times a year up north which we love.
Haha cheers mate, was good to meet you the other day!
Hay guys wat about the awaning is electric push button roll out. Or wind out by hand.
Manual pull out Carefree brand one.
See you in the NT for Territory day 2025 🎉
🧨 can’t wait!!! 🥳 🎉
Wow that's a kick in the arse for Australian manufacturing, and with the price of Australian made. I can't talk as I brought an Opus camping trailer.
Shame on you Cam for taking so long to do that benchtop. 🤣
Bought an Optus, brought means to bring something with you.
@Dazza-u4c you can't read and I can't right 😅, we make a great pear. I haven't been with Optus for a long time 🤣
as soon as I heard china thats the end for me not interested I thought Uz were all for Australian Made
Fair enough. And I honestly respect that stance. 🇦🇺
If you’ve watched us for a while you’ll know we’ve had an imported camper trailer and caravan before, and had a great run from them.
I’m all for Aussie made. But not to the point where I’m willing to spend more, for less. I’d rather save that money to spend on my family. 🤷♂️
Some great Aussie caravan manufacturers here. JB, Zone, Mountain trail, Supreme, Lotus, titanium
