Still jammin’ to this at age 54. ❤️🔥🔥💯
In 21 years I will be too!
54 years *young*.
32 pushing 33 still carrying the love and the fight. Wa woohoo yippie woah wa yahoo
Nice to see someone like you!
And counting.
Of how this song never made it into smash I'll never know
melee menu music: "am I a joke to you"
@@dane3311 you're right, I never thought about comparing the two
Yeah why that my question why???
Too long and suspenseful. Its not an action piece, its am ambient ascension.
@@dane3311 I can see some similarity that you’re referring to but it’s definitely not the same song at all lol
Bowser's Road: Turning boys into men since 1996.
Real ( I played super Mario 3d all Stars on switch )
Nothing hit harder than entering Bowser in the Dark World for you first time and first listening to that beginning string of notes.
even as a kid, i knew this shit went hard
This is the definition of good Music
Facts
0:48 this part is my favorite
Wah wah wah wah wah
i always thought that part was beautiful
This was my first Bowser-Themed soundtrack I listened to. And it's still iny head too this day.
@lwilslash91 my
if anyone even remembers mario combat then im happy
@@firephenix-st5tcI remember playing that game on Y8 back then
When you heard this u knew it was about to go down.
"Bwa ha ha ha! You've stepped right into my trap, just as I knew you would! I warn you, 'friend,' watch your step!"
Mua ha haaa
*proceeds to play banger*
I always thought the song meant that Mario was traveling through a land of Koopa skeletons as they represent the failures of Bowser and were burnt from his disappointment thus making a koopas road
So iconic and epic, it's no wonder it got reused in Super Mario Galaxy (and the sequel)!
so good they used it thrice
So classic. But why it did not make it to the mario movie i wont understand
this music makes me feel determined
Man frisk get outta here this ain't Undertale
@@BuddheeTheRobloxian c'mon now ☠️🙏
@@BuddheeTheRobloxian are you here from tbbf too?
This song is not in Undertale but I get what you mean
Ah, yes! This song sets the mood just right when things get intense. 🔥
How it feels to go on a beer run 20 mins to closing during a blizzard 18 beers in.
what
@@CrystaleRBX worry bout it
I never got to ever play the n64 version but I did get to play the ds version and it was my first game ever. Nothing will ever get closer to my heart than super Mario 64 ds, the OST’S, the gameplay, everything about the game. A masterpiece.
64 DS was a really nice remake, actually. I prefer the original game, but the DS version really deserves more credit than it probably gets.
@@BareBandSubscription ExoParadigmGamer gave Super Mario 64 a "Replace" rank (the highest rank a gane can get in his "Remake or Rebreak" series of reviews) and is so far one of the only, of not THE only game to get this rank. He basically said that while the original game was already amazing, the remake was even better.
@@NeoArashi
It’s a valid choice, honestly. Like I said, I prefer the original version due to its purity and controls, but the DS remake was loaded with content and just worked far better than it had any right to. The fact it was a fully 3D platformer running on a handheld with a smooth framerate and everything, in 2004, was just totally mind-blowing back in the day. Super-good remake; underrated remake.
@@NeoArashi the remake is decent, but what kills it for me is the controls. Super Mario 64 was designed for analog movement so using a D-Pad to move and to run just felt awkward. Locking stars behind characters was not a good decision and many of the new stars felt like filler.
is it me or does this song sound like a banger
It IS a banger
That background:
ta-ta ta-ta-ta
I concur
I though that said burger
It is a banger
Damn I miss my childhood 😭😭. Summer 1998 playing this masterpiece as a 8year old kid. I'm now a teary eyed 32 year old man listening to this song.
I’m 32 next month and oh how the years have flown by! However I’ll never grow out of these masterpieces my whole right arm is Nintendo tattooed! So so lucky to have grown up with these classics.
Respect to you! I know exactly how you feel!
This comment hit me hard
Old? That must make me middle aged. With at least 60 I consider people old.
But the nostalgia will always live on forever!
When you spend your summer holiday in 1998 on the most epic journey that will live with you for the rest of your life
I still have the game and the remake on the DS and this music rocks with intense beats 🎧 they play this in Super Mario Galaxy 🌌 1&2
My palms are sweaty as hell listening lol
Is there a stain on your shirt?
@@sonicboom126Why does it feel so hard to hold my controller with my arms starting to feel weak
Sounds militaristic compared to the other tracks we’ve likely already heard up to this point in the game, but it’s Bowser, so it makes perfect sense.
*Me on my way to the Taco Bell Bathroom:*
This song is a masterpiece though.
Yes
Greetings, my friends. You've travelled very far and encountered many obstacles. Along the way, you've encountered 5 of my henchmen many of whom who couldn't even get this far. I applaud you for managing to beat the odds and nearly my entire army, but it is time to end this once and for all."
Ah yes average tbbf fan amazing game tho
Level 751 cause I got a level gap hbu?
Fun fact: some people bought N64 just to play Super Mario 64
Hopefully you can get Ultimate Koopa, Koopa's Theme, the File Select remixes and Dire Dire Docks.
@The Precious Little White Angel Yeah, the OST versions of those songs are so much better than the in game versions. I can only find the OST version of Ultimate Koopa on BrawlBRSTMS5x's channel.
@@jeremyknight9980 you’re wrong. The ost versions are missing various instruments and sound more bland
@@lemonadesnake The stage boss definitely, mind that was me like 3 years ago.
@@jeremyknight9980 tbh I didn't really think most people changed their opinions in 3 years but this has opened my mind
I love this entire soundtrack but this is probably my favorite theme in the game!
When it's the first day of high school.
preparing final exam*
as someone who just started their first year
I can confirm
*Insert Bowser Laugh*
man, it's amazing just how different this sounds uncompressed. still an amazing theme
If they put this in the movie, Imma bust.
I feel like Koopa's Road was inspiration for the Crisis City theme and Tropical Jungle (The Ruins) in Sonic 06
Definitely sounds like that
So long, King Bowser!
Esta cancion siempre sera recordada y tambien fue recordada en los juegos de mario y sonic juegos olimpicos de invierno,y en los juegos de mario en 3D
_S o L o n g K i n g a B o w s e r_
This soundtrack literally gives me Nostalgia even tho I've never played this game before.
I'm mad they didn't add it to the movie
@@mrmeeseeks_2109 Yeah they could've added it, but there (spoiler alert) weren't really any cave scenes in the movie, so I understand why they didn't
Bowser in the dark world
Bowser in the fire sea
Bowser in the sky
This gives me late 2020/early 2021 vibes.
No way.. they dont use that kind of themes anymore , sorry :(
This belongs to the 2000 era.
Can’t wait to listen to it in SSBU!
oh wait…

Oh man… the nostalgic jam. That feeling of… whoa, this is different! What kind of stage is this? What happens at the end?!?
Stages that use this music is Bowser's Road in the Sky, Bowser's Road in the Fire Sea and Bowser's Road in the Dark World. At the end of these stages is a pipe that leads you to a Bowser boss fight.
@@theswissconfederation There's no pipe at the end of the 2nd Bowser stage, just something to slide down. It also doesn't play the sound like when you enter the pipes.
The momentarily pause hits different
Best vibe ❤
“Wanna know how I got these burns? My teammate was a thinker, and a fiend. Then one update, he turns the nozzle to me, fuming as he does, the Engineer gets his sentry gun ready, he doesn’t like that, not one bit. He turns to me and says: *Why so FURIOUS?!?!”*
Normal : bowser theme
Gametal version : void2 theme
i love this song~
Imagine howincredible it would be if that was used as a theme for a Tank level or something like that i hope If there would be Mario maker3 that it will give us such a theme and the choice to put different ost's in one theme when not even more pipe zones
In Newer Super Mario Bros Wii
The theme of the koopa road in super mario 64 is GOD
oddly similar to crisis city but eh
And friend, this is what you call, "chord progression."
Does music makes me feel good
The song that will play when I get to hell and have to escape
This is legendary at almost age 34.
This song feels like hell
Guess what
There are three other video games that have similar music to this. Sonic the hedgehog 2006 (crisis city), super mario galexy (bowsers fiery stronghold), and the legend of zelda ocarina of time (Ganondorf fight)
Actully all Ganondorf scenes throughout the zelda franchise
Dude best Mario song
Start climbing! Go get the big guy!
I wonder if this song predicted the Smash Melee theme

Three linear platforming stages, one at the end of each sector of the hub world, each ending in a fight against Bowser, or Koopa as he's known in Japan.
