I have journaled for years and years but don't have them. I have 2 I did this past year and I'm getting ready to burn those and begin again because they arent serving me how I vision they should. I find that I complain a lot and rant but that's not what I want to remember years from now. So, here I am, watching you again. Seems like a sign to me lol. I am going to try it this way. I feel like I want my journal to be about my growth and success, etc nit whining about things I can and cannot control. So, starting in 2025, I am changing that.
I just threw away a journal as well. I was repeating the same complaints about 😢myself after years and I was like no! I do not want to remember this in this type of detail so I threw it away happily. But I am going to start again. I have lots of great ideas and thoughts when I can't sleep and just lie in the bed trying to go back to sleep. I plan to write more of those thoughts down. ❤🎉 Happy New Year. Let's go 2025, a better one!!!
I just realized that my journals from 2021 were just complaining , it was diaries , but from october 2024 until now , I've put my thoughts , some ideas about a lot of things , I'm gonna continue like this for the years that follow ! Thanks Clark ❤❤
Hey Clark, I started journaling because of you over three years ago, and it has completely changed my life! I’ve watched all your videos on journaling, and they’ve been a constant source of inspiration. By the way, I really miss the costume-it added such a fun, personal touch to your earlier videos and never failed to make me smile. I’ve been searching for this video for weeks, and now it’s finally here-even though I already know most of the content, it’s always exciting to see your take on it. One idea that might add an interesting twist is showcasing journals from your subscribers. It could give people a chance to share and give back some of the incredible energy you’ve been spreading over the years. Thank you for everything! You’re truly inspiring. Wishing you an epic 2025-cheers from Brazil!
ብሮ, ብሓቂ, ካብ ዘለኽዎ, ዕንክሊል ብዙሕ ክርኢ, ቀይርካዮ! That's Tigrinya Language. From Tigray. Evidence you're so world wide! Been following for more than a year, You always have a point, even when you repeat! ጠቓሚ ወሳኒ post! Thanks!!
I am a 61 yo retired person and I have been journaling for years but for the past 4 years, I have taken your “6 in 1 method” and made it my own. I break my journal into monthly sections and I add all my concepts/goals/focuses/trackings… to each monthly section. One year I even scrolled through my monthly photos, printed 10 photos each month and added them to the journal. It is a method that has taught me to let go of perfectionism; I just jot down anything I want on the clean, fresh pages that are available every month, and I let loose. P Appreciate the yearly videos to motivate and get me going for the new year.😍🙏🏻
Journaling and doing mindful practices really put my life back on track. All the distractions and consuming content/media especially Tiktok distanced me further from myself pursuing my own goals. Low attention span, instant gratification, brain rot literally
Currently creating my 2025 journal, started journaling because I watched a Clark kegley video on journaling in 2022. I came back to this channel for my yearly journal guide because let me tell all of you, Clark is not lying when he says he would recommend this practice to every person suffering in life. After keeping up with journaling for four years, I can say with certainty, if I did not journal I would have dropped out of college. I play division one baseball so the commitment of being a student athlete comes with not a lot of down time. Having a journal like this brings peace to my life that I would be missing out on otherwise. If I didn’t have a journal, i wouldn’t of had a creative place to start writing my own books, which I can proudly say I have published one of them with many more in the works. I grew up with a “learning disability” and took all my tests in the classes with 5 kids, when I tell yall that knowledge is power it really is. Keep a journal, you don’t have to write in it everyday, what you need is a place for your inner most thoughts. After years of doing it there is so much I can look back at that I wrote and be proud of. There’s nothing like reading about a tough time you were in from years ago, and knowing you kicked that challenge in the ass and learned from it. Journaling isn’t feminine, it’s the key to keeping your mind right.
This video spoke directly to me. I do find myself watching programs and glancing down at my phone for more minutes than I was watching TV. I know I’m doing it, but yet I keep scrolling. My goal next year is less scrolling and more engaging in things outside my phone. I do journal, I want to focus more time on filling pages and less scrolling. :)
I love these videos every year! Like watching Die Hard on Christmas, the last 4 years I have watched this video. Also your 6 in one method changed the way I journal. Thank you!!
I love that you aren't afraid to use your own handwriting! I am a prolific journaler and when I tell others about it they always talk about how much they hate their handwriting so they can't do it. Your handwriting is a reflection of YOU and you will never regret using it.
I am not a frequent visitor on your channel, but I watched it for first time since the first I think journal video you did, like 9 years ago or something. We have different methods, but I like that you have good character development. I also liked the countdown to death little addition, makes journaling a little more serious business, because I think our journals is indeed something we left behind and maybe - just MAYBE - someone will read at least one of them and it will be life-changing for him as it was for us. Congratulations on being better year by year and happy 2025!
I will be 73 years old in a few days, and I have journaled on and off through those years. Some journals have been dark, and some very lively and fun. But I am a very visual person, so I tend to draw and create my journals with a lot of art work intertwined with words. I journal for awhile then but the journal down for days then journal again. That is best for me.
I’m up at 1am scrolling and feeding my mind garbage and then I find this. THANK YOU! I feel motivated to get my life back in a healthy state… starting with giving myself the attention I’ve been longing from the external to myself. Qq: What brand of journal is that? I’ve been looking for a good one that opens flat and has all white pages. thanks again for what you do ❤
I don’t know why none of your videos pop up for me anymore but randomly today this did. 😊great timing and I’ve been following you a while! Happy to see how far you have come. I pray you have continued success into 2025. 😊🙏❤️
Hey man! Wanted to say two things! 1 - Why didn’t you get the role for Superman ?? 2 - i’ve followed your book suggestions for a couple years now & love every bit! Currently reading “Breaking The Habit of Being Yourself” -Joe Dispenza
I’ve been journalling for years, and tried the 3 part method as suggested the end of 2023. Started well, life takes its turns but this past weekend looked through my 2024 journal and broke down pages and statements of what I learned in 2024, what didn’t serve me and what I want to focus on for 2025. Thanks for all you do, Clark!
I don't use the method but I used to do a projection board and you have helped me get into my own form of journaling. Thank you Clark for making me live my life
Just what I needed your refresher course for journaling. I've been journaling since the 1970s. I keep one main journal, one for health one for hobbies... Cooking and canning😊 thanks for sharing!
I have been watching you since your handle was Clark danger. Your journal videos are an annual tradition. I always tell my friends journaling is the single best habit I have built and always point them to you.
I’ve been keeping a journal for the last decade or so. It’s inspiring to see the progress I’ve made. It’s also great to see areas where I’m still struggling. Has anyone else had this experience?
So true. I’m on journal 4 now it’s amazing! Thankful for you & teaching how to journal it made a huge difference. It’s my favorite thing to do now is buying a fresh new one to make some new goals etc ✨ happy new year! 2025 here we come
Yes, i just want to say the same. You got me into journaling. Every year around October to December i go looking for the journal I'm going to buy for next year. I think I'm still learning how to journal in a way that's best for me, but i think I'm on year 4 because of you.
I think personality tests are fun and sometimes useful for self-discovery. The only time I had a problem with one, was in a job interview many years ago. I was being interviewed for a secretarial position in a small business (10 employees) and was being interviewed by the owner. After a 45 minute talk, he asked me to complete a "personality profile". I refused. Honestly, if the owner needed that to decide whether to hire me or not, I was not interested in working for him. I honestly told him just that, and he smiled, and hired me.
I have been journaling all of my life❤❤❤ I started in elementary school to deal with being bullied. I took journaling seriously at university. I journal daily since University days, I left University at 22 and I am 48 yrs old. Do the math!!😂😂 From Elementary school to my adult life. ❤❤ Journaling has transformed my life!!🎉🎉🎉 I created journal series on my Facebook page ❤❤❤

I adopted your idea of putting the most relevant quotes and learnings on the front cover a few Bullet Journals back. Starting in 2025, I'm going to add the life expectancy counter, but I think I'm going to use weeks instead of days (as a hat tip to Oliver Burkeman's fantastic book "Four Thousand Weeks")
My hardest battle has been consistency. I have picked up journals and will write for a few days maybe even a month and then stop. The feeling and urge just gone. The only thing that seems to work is an audio journal but even that seems to fizzle for me.
I don’t know what it is, but I use to love to write and journal, really any form of writing but lately I have this fear and dread, no clue. Any insights greatly appreciated! 😅
because it means you actually have to start taking action. Especially if you pick up a pen and notebook. You probably don’t want to bc your scared or too tired to even take bigger actions than a pen and notebook. Regardless, you think staying in this paralyzed state is your jail free card to not write. Your just hurting yourself down the road and others who need your writing. Go write 💗
If writing is too hard, starting with recording voice notes and just talking to yourself about how you're feeling, what you're up to, and what you're experiencing is a great place to start. It gives you that introspection and time with your thoughts without having to "commit" things to paper. Once you get used to the clarity and insight that spending time in your own thoughts brings, you can try writing. Or do both.
Number (1) Your channel was an awesome find. Number (2) I did hit the subscribe button. (3) Awesome insight into journaling, I was definitely looking for a video like this and which direction I should take with it.
I was just typing out a question about the differences between writing in a regular journal versus using media like the Kindle Scribe, and you began explaining why the feel of paper resonates so deeply with you. It struck a chord. But here’s a challenge to this perspective: isn’t the essence of writing-whether on paper or digital-ultimately tied to the experience it evokes and the impact it leaves, rather than the medium itself? Technology can simulate the sound and feel of writing on paper, but it also transcends its limitations. Imagine the advantages of having an entire library at your fingertips, your notes instantly searchable, and your thoughts shareable with the click of a button. It’s not that one is better than the other-they simply serve different purposes. Could it be that the real debate isn’t about the medium but how deeply we connect with the act of writing itself? Perhaps media like e-ink are not the antithesis of a soul-filled experience but rather an evolution of it. What do you think: can the soul adapt to digital expression, or does it forever belong to the tangible, ink-on-paper world?
I used to keep a journal until 7 grade, my mom at 1 of the birthday parties read it out loud to her sisters & mother & made fun of me. I tore it into pieces cried & burnt it. Then on I've never been able to 😢 But last year I started a diary Journaling app.
You got me into maintaining yearly journals. 2023 and 2024 were so so good! I cannot thank you enough for that. Thank you for creating such high value content
Do you think you could write it on a yearly planner ? 😮 And do you think it is better to write it on computer instead of notebooks? I'm just asking anyone who reads this.😅 Thanks
For me 💯 notebook, iam old fashion… 2025 is going to be my first year writing journal… the pro for writing in a notebook is the I can improve my spelling 😂, I can be very creative in the journal 📝. Also it more convenient for me…
@Viv-no-pain-no-gain i think my reply didn't work? I said that if you write it on a device, you can search for Words and have all the memories with one person in front of you quicker instead of looking for a long time in a lot of very long notebooks. I also prefer Notebooks but this is why i am hesitant. Thank you btw♡
A notebook and pen is better. It helps you 'absorb' and process. But whatever works for you to get going, whether that's phone notes, computer, voice notes, anything you can do often and easily, is probably the best place to start.
I use a combination of paper and digital in one. I have a tablet (samsung) and use the notes app. I created a digital journal, but instead of typing, I use the stylus and hand write in my journal. I can download it at the end of the year and digitally save it. I have so much "stuff" and am decluttering. This was a major way for me to keep from accumulating more physical stuff to store. Also, I repeatedly "lost" my physical journals. So, I was constantly staring a new one or waiting until I found it to journal. It also makes it easier when I am traveling or taking it along to work or anywhere I go. This year I have created one notebook and have it divided in to multiple sections just as Clark did his 6 in 1 journal. I like this because I can always add photos and such to my journal pages easily by copying and pasting vs. printing, cutting, and gluing. It's been a game changer for me and actually doing the journaling. I can always print it out to make a physical copy if I choose to at some point.
Imo for what it’s worth, if that’s the way that works best for you, then that’s the way you should journal. I think actually putting pen to paper may reinforce the words and concepts that you are documenting, however typing those same words and concepts in your phone is far better than not doing it at all. I wish you luck in your journey for 2025. 🎉❤
Love your videos but it makes me sad that they don't have more views becasue they deserve more. I think you're in a niche where it's about educational and valueable content but what gets views is entertaining videos not the ones providing value so it becomes really hard to balance value and entertainment.
2025 is not a leap year, but 2026 is, and if you count the leap year (which adds an extra day every four years) since every four years has a leap year, you can estimate the numbers of leap years in ex. 41 years. 41÷4=10 leap years. Add those 10 extra days to the total.
I can't seem to be consistent with Journaling it seems I can't get consistent with journaling, like I can do it for a month and after that just lives gets in the way 🥲

First video i watch from zour channel and i am subscribing! Amazing stuff, the fact that i saw it before 2025 starts makes it a whole lot better.
Great 🎉 Thanks for your excellent contents. Have a wonderful 2025 ❤
Thank you for these videos!!! So much useful information

Love it

Wow! This was an amazing motivation! I love your stuff:) keep up the work!
This is exactly what I needed. I was recently slacking on keeping my journal, gave me motivation to continue.
I was literally writing my First page in my journal when this notification popped up 💯🔥🚀
“Stop being consumed by your own thoughts.”
Wise words. We are placed upon this earth to be of maximum service to others.
I started in 2022 and it has led to massive changes. Such an invaluable tool. And all it costs is the price of some paper and a pen.
I love you dropped your video just before 2025.. watching your video while organising my journal for the year is like a ritual now
First vid I’ve seen of yours. Thanks for this!
First one!!! 🎉 Fell off journaling cause I lost access to previous ones but I’m ready to bounce back 🤙
Yes, i just want to say the same. You got me into journaling. Every year around October to December i go looking for the journal I'm going to buy for next year. I think I'm still learning how to journal in a way that's best for me, but i think I'm on year 4 because of you.

Number (1) Your channel was an awesome find. Number (2) I did hit the subscribe button. (3) Awesome insight into journaling, I was definitely looking for a video like this and which direction I should take with it.
His videos never disappoint
I'm a big fan i will be taking notes
Then on I've never been able to 😢
But last year I started a diary Journaling app.
Ah sorry that must suck. Did she ever apologize?
@kazlzeal6921 No :(
Oh my! I’m sorry that happened to you. 😢
Sorry ,that is the fear ,mothers will not give you privacy and read your journal ....I feel your pain 😢
Definitely could’ve guessed you are ENFJ. I’m INFJ myself and I do follow lots of INFJs on RUclips. Hadn’t noticed the pattern before!
I wish I started this 20 years ago
Thank you!
Hello this is some good information I love to journal. Also I will like to take up boxing and self defense classes, Gods willing in 2025 IAM START
You got me into maintaining yearly journals. 2023 and 2024 were so so good! I cannot thank you enough for that.
Thank you for creating such high value content
What about year journals ? ( with lines ) should I write every day or use a blank journal ?
Great tips. What type of journal do you use?
According to your calculation I have 22 years left and 8,030 days left 😢😮. What a wake up call 🤯
What size journal do you use? Any particular brand? Thanks!
Thank you
bro background music is good
thanks 🙏
Do you think you could write it on a yearly planner ? 😮
And do you think it is better to write it on computer instead of notebooks?
@mioyumi1354 did u find a good app as u've described ?
I can always print it out to make a physical copy if I choose to at some point.
what was the website you used to get your personality?
This is the perfect way to kickstart the new year! For anyone who’s been journaling for a while, what’s one lesson you've learned from your practice?
Anyone know the background songs of the video?
What’s your view on using the iPhone for journaling? Does that defeat the purpose of logging our thoughts while the scrolling demon laughs the at us?
Imo for what it’s worth, if that’s the way that works best for you, then that’s the way you should journal. I think actually putting pen to paper may reinforce the words and concepts that you are documenting, however typing those same words and concepts in your phone is far better than not doing it at all. I wish you luck in your journey for 2025. 🎉❤
What is the journal you use, as in manufacturer and model? Thanks!
E-ink tablets make it trivial to have multiple journals in one place!
I love that your journals are not pretty
Hey its superman💪
What is DANGER?
I'm INTP-T
Infj here
not arranging those diaries in chronological order gives me OCD vibes fr
you can make a big bulky book with those journals lol
Love your videos but it makes me sad that they don't have more views becasue they deserve more. I think you're in a niche where it's about educational and valueable content but what gets views is entertaining videos not the ones providing value so it becomes really hard to balance value and entertainment.
1:47 🤨
Consuming your own thoughts or Sauce 😂 let me replay that 😂
Dude looks like Clark Kent
😢
I would disagree. I would say create a system, not goals.
Atomic habits
If you have no goals for what you make a system 😮
2025 is not a leap year, but 2026 is, and if you count the leap year (which adds an extra day every four years) since every four years has a leap year, you can estimate the numbers of leap years in ex. 41 years. 41÷4=10 leap years. Add those 10 extra days to the total.
Are you a Christian yet Clarke? Great video thank you! Have a great rest of the year
How crazy! I'm also INFJ 😂😂😂😂
I can't seem to be consistent with Journaling it seems I can't get consistent with journaling, like I can do it for a month and after that just lives gets in the way 🥲
I was waiting for this❤😊🤍
