I will be 73 years old in a few days, and I have journaled on and off through those years. Some journals have been dark, and some very lively and fun. But I am a very visual person, so I tend to draw and create my journals with a lot of art work intertwined with words. I journal for awhile then but the journal down for days then journal again. That is best for me.

I am a 61 yo retired person and I have been journaling for years but for the past 4 years, I have taken your “6 in 1 method” and made it my own. I break my journal into monthly sections and I add all my concepts/goals/focuses/trackings… to each monthly section. One year I even scrolled through my monthly photos, printed 10 photos each month and added them to the journal. It is a method that has taught me to let go of perfectionism; I just jot down anything I want on the clean, fresh pages that are available every month, and I let loose. P
Appreciate the yearly videos to motivate and get me going for the new year.😍🙏🏻

I find that I complain a lot and rant but that's not what I want to remember years from now. So, here I am, watching you again. Seems like a sign to me lol. I am going to try it this way. I thought it would be good to get the negative thought out. I would definitely recommend keeping your journals positive . Negative ones are not helpful to reread years later.

    Hey Clark,
I started journaling because of you over three years ago, and it has completely changed my life! I’ve watched all your videos on journaling, and they’ve been a constant source of inspiration. By the way, I really miss the costume-it added such a fun, personal touch to your earlier videos and never failed to make me smile.
I’ve been searching for this video for weeks, and now it’s finally here-even though I already know most of the content, it’s always exciting to see your take on it. One idea that might add an interesting twist is showcasing journals from your subscribers. It could give people a chance to share and give back some of the incredible energy you’ve been spreading over the years.
Thank you for everything! You’re truly inspiring. Wishing you an epic 2025-cheers from Brazil!

Currently creating my 2025 journal, started journaling because I watched a Clark kegley video on journaling in 2022. I came back to this channel for my yearly journal guide because let me tell all of you, Clark is not lying when he says he would recommend this practice to every person suffering in life. After keeping up with journaling for four years, I can say with certainty, if I did not journal I would have dropped out of college. I play division one baseball so the commitment of being a student athlete comes with not a lot of down time. Having a journal like this brings peace to my life that I would be missing out on otherwise. If I didn’t have a journal, i wouldn’t of had a creative place to start writing my own books, which I can proudly say I have published one of them with many more in the works. I grew up with a “learning disability” and took all my tests in the classes with 5 kids, when I tell yall that knowledge is power it really is. Keep a journal, you don’t have to write in it everyday, what you need is a place for your inner most thoughts. After years of doing it there is so much I can look back at that I wrote and be proud of. There’s nothing like reading about a tough time you were in from years ago, and knowing you kicked that challenge in the ass and learned from it. Journaling isn’t feminine, it’s the key to keeping your mind right.

I used to be the same and I also thought my handwriting would ruin the journal. Things that changed are using journal prompts and just buying plain old exercise books so I don’t have the stress of ruining a pretty journal. The biggest thing that I have learned is to always go back at some point and read over your entries. Seeing where you have grown and where you could still do some work is amazing and so helpful. I hope this helps

We have different methods, but I like that you have good character development. I also liked the countdown to death little addition, makes journaling a little more serious business, because I think our journals is indeed something we left behind and maybe - just MAYBE - someone will read at least one of them and it will be life-changing for him as it was for us. Congratulations on being better year by year and happy 2025!

I half-heartedly journaled last year but, looking back, when i did, my life was flowing better. Def picking this up especially w how actionable this feels. I'll personally change "rest" to "recharge" as sometimes being active is what recharges and heals your body (a yoga, a hike in the woods to be within nature, a run or a lift to release stress...) but it also includes the moments of mindful resting (proper sleeping habits)

I saw your ultimate guide video in 2021, and have been using this method ever since. Before this I did keep separate journal / log / idea books. I separate my life in different buckets: Business, Finances, Hearth, Relationships, Personal, Health and Community--this works for me. I give some sections more room than others. With this method of journal I stick to journaling SO much better and it is easier to review when it is all in one place. And I reviewing your journal notes periodically seems so underrated, but so important. Anyway, I love this method!

I think personality tests are fun and sometimes useful for self-discovery. The only time I had a problem with one, was in a job interview many years ago. I was being interviewed for a secretarial position in a small business (10 employees) and was being interviewed by the owner. After a 45 minute talk, he asked me to complete a "personality profile". I refused. Honestly, if the owner needed that to decide whether to hire me or not, I was not interested in working for him. I honestly told him just that, and he smiled, and hired me.

Just found your channel and glad i did. Love the inspirational quotes you include in your journals. For years I had two big ones hanging in my office as reminders on how to win the day.
One was the Teddy Roosevelt man in the arena, which is probably my favorite and the second one is this:
It's not the will to win that matters-everyone has that. It's the will to prepare to win that matters.” - Paul “Bear” Bryant
Always lived by the saying that success happens when opportunity meets preparation. I think Zig Ziglar said that.
Now I’m learning more about how to live with the expectations of abundance (finally at 63).
    Appreciate your teachings.

Yes, i just want to say the same. You got me into journaling. Every year around October to December i go looking for the journal I'm going to buy for next year. I think I'm still learning how to journal in a way that's best for me, but i think I'm on year 4 because of you.

i have been writing Diary since i was in high school, its been 16 years. Its really helpful to understand the life and myself better. I don’t write everyday but carry it everyday with me in my backpack.
    Happy journaling 🤞
I think i should make a video like this 😀

I used to keep a journal until 7 grade, my mom at 1 of the birthday parties read it out loud to her sisters & mother & made fun of me. I tore it into pieces cried & burnt it. Then on I've never been able to 😢
But last year I started a diary Journaling app.

You could get a small safe but unless you're secretly murdering babies or something there's nothing you should be so concerned about others seeing that should keep you from doing this if it's something you want to do

Keep a digital journal. Either your notes app or I’d recommend the app DayOne.

Took up journaling this year more so as a safe brain dump. Every page ranges from budgets to task to thoughts. But I like this concept and will try for the second half of the year.

I have to stick with digital journaling, largely because I have my phone with me at all times and when spontaneous thoughts come up, I can write in it from anywhere

My hardest battle has been consistency. I have picked up journals and will write for a few days maybe even a month and then stop. The feeling and urge just gone. The only thing that seems to work is an audio journal but even that seems to fizzle for me.

  • @MMA_Jackal
    @MMA_Jackal 29 дней назад

After my mother passed way unexpectedly last year I started to keep a journal. I have not been consistent but started up again last week. There is no rhyme or reason to it. I just fill up a page with whatever. Things that happened that day, things I’m worrying about, things I’m grateful for ect…
