My biggest dancer problem is having NO space practice at home T_T backyard is mosquito infested, front of the house gets super hot, and my garage is gross (plus my dad doesn't always drive the car in the garage).
My other dancer problem is kind of uncommon, but since I don't look like a dancer and I'm tall, I guess that doesn't encourage choreographers to put me in the front or close to the front, it also sucks when the only other tall person doesn't know the choreo as well as you but you HAVE to be mirrors so yeah -___- (not saying he sucks, we just have different styles).

I totally agree! I dont even have a backyard or garage and my home is too small for me to move around. And there are no dance studios in my country either. No place to practice, literally. Unless I get a good job that pays me well and rent an expensive big room.
I agree with the body thing too. But, I solved it. I was fat, so I went to gym and lost a lot of weight. Now I am slim enough.

Ye i do ballroom dancing and well i can practice latin american dances since you dont realy need much space for those but for the clasical dances we work on a larger grid so it is impossibld to practice while yes i am not that bad at classical dances but if our trainer gives us a new move we will incorporate in our dancing i want to practice but I cant because of the afformentioned small space.

My dancer problem is that I can dance well and I learn choreos through youtube since I dont have the money to take classes but the problem is whenever I want to try to freestyle, I looke like sh*t. Also, there are times when I go full-out with energy while dancing but then when I take a video of myself and look at it, it was like I didn't exert energy at all.
Freestyle and choreo are two seperate skill (although they do help each other). If you want to get good at freestyling you simply need to freestyle. Exploring some concepts can also help a lot with your creativity.

Problem rn i dont have any space to dance to. I live in a dorm and the room im in is clearly the same size of an average bathroom, my bed eats up the whole floor and then my drawers for clothes too. Probably why i cant really practice. Renting a studio is too expensive. Plus i dont have confidence yet. So yeah.

Don't do dance as a profession but i've danced for like 10yrs now i think? Since i was like 4-7 but i never seem to get better😂 my dancer problem is when u get a new teacher and she does things so differently and sometimes she has a whole different style than the previous one, even tho both of em teach the same genre

My biggest problem is that I forget the choreography mid dance and suddenly don't know what I'm doing. Also when the choreographer changes or adds even one small movement it will mess me up completely at first. Idk why but I just get really thrown off really easily and I don't know how to fix it.

my biggest problem with dancing is that i tend to get frustrated when i dance and i don't feel like it's good.

One of the problems that all dancers can relate is when is already the end of the lesson and the teacher ask you to do the choreography one last time. But then the teacher ask you to do it again and you are tired and want to die 😂

#DancerProblem I love dancing but practicing everyday makes me look tired and gaunt in the face. I have a healthy diet and I drink plenty of water and get enough sleep too. I avoid having calorie deficiency as well. Dancing doesn't make me lose weight (I don't even intent to) but it makes me lose facial fullness and I get this overly defined face! Similar to the gym face? And no I don't even dance that intensely, I'm that cover dancer. Only 30 min a day makes me LOOK exhausted but I don't FEEL exhausted. Once I stop dancing for a few days or take a break, the fullness comes back... But I don't want to stop dancing! I'd love making covers on the daily which mean more practice and more skeletor face!!! How do you suggest I deal with this? Please HELP :(
P.S. Each and every one of you are so funny and hard working, I seriously love you guys!!! The "How to Improve" videos are my favorite! Keep it up!
You can try adjusting your sodium intake and drink creatine powder. After week or a month it should help.(if you don't eat much meat)

I've danced since I was 4 years old, but never in group performances. Singles and doubles only. I even danced professionally for 17 years, and still, never danced with more than one other person on stage at a time.
Also, I never took any formal dance classes until I was in my 30's. Well, unless you count Zumba and Jazzercise. I've done those classes a ton.
In my defense, erotic pole dance isn't really a "group" dance activity. I also dig ballroom dancing, especially the latin dances. Never did that professionally, but still enjoy ballroom dancing on occasion.

When people stop and stare instead of joining me on the dance floor, then say I can't go after that... I no longer want to dance. I feel like I kill the vibe when I'm at a party surrounded by "non-dancers." My dancer problem:
I literally have no room to dance at all the small space I have isn’t even big enough for me to extend my arms properly
I got depressed when I have to skip my dance practice due to some reason. And guess what without dancing my life sucks.
When you are late because of the traffic or having a long travel from home to dance rehearsal.
