What awesome designs for these bosses. A lot of them look & are seemingly themed around Buddhism, but just eldritch stylized. Very creepy, but also otherworldly divine.

Seriously?? Japanese mythology runs so deep it needs absolutely nothing from HP Lovecraft, so Japan wouldn’t be any better from HP’s visit…(like all tourists who visits the country).
39:24 This is probably my favorite boss so far. The jazzy song in the background coupled with the fact that it sounds like it's singing off key and it's general crazy movements makes me feel as if this boss is trolling you the entire fight.

Is this game hard? I love souls and other difficult games but I kinda want something to just enjoy, I saw a video of how the game was made and they used miniatures houses and landscapes, built entire villages and recorded explosions and fireworks to have them look good in the game. So impressive how much love went into the development. I instantly wanted to get it, and I will when I've got the money
It’s just part of the mechanics you just need to keep putting them back on but during the time he goes to put them off you need to get the damage in preferably a Tsuba guard attack for big damage & stagger it to make easy work of it

I've noticed that there are 7 other Mazo Talismans that aren't listed on the wiki yet. And when playing NG+ for the first round, the octagonal symbol with a circle in the middle on the save had red color on one side. And there are 2 Mazo Talismans that are unlocked after clearing NG+ 1 and 2 respectively. Is it possible that the other 7 Mazo Talismans will be unlocked after clearing NG+ rounds 3-9 (octagonal + center) if anyone has tried them? please tell me.

I really wanted to enjoy this game, but it's terribly unfun and an inconvenient control setup. The monsters look great. Main characters look awful though.
How tf do they look ”awful”? The art style is excellent. The enemies and bosses look like painted wooden figurines come to life. The masks of the human characters look really cool.
