btw this was made by a devs team of 9 people...fromsoft has 200-300 people making its games..so considering that the team that made this team is more than 20-30 times smaller, I'd say the result is pretty damn good. if this is their starting point, and with the revenue they manage to increase their team, the potential for this company is quite something!
You know, for all the criticism the game got, I say that the aesthetic and the atmosphere is simply amazing. Perhaps it would have been better if it was a more classic RPG or Action Adventure in the vein of Stellar Blade than a Souls-like game.
If you like it just look for "tarantella napoletana" on RUclips. You will find a miriad of versions, some will surely suit your tastes. A favourite of mine would be the Tarantella by Giovanni Murtula, although it kind of strays from the theme in the bossfight

Very bad imitation/copy of a Dark Souls game : bad ambiance (always the same music) and never dark in any ways, rigid as the first Souls, quickly boring, average environments, too many malus or ennemies protected from normal attacks, all bosses look alike, uninteresting scenario or characters, disfunctional dodging Okay it doesn't have the same budget as a Souls but it has absolutely no added value against other Souls-like games

If anything the biggest complaint is that it’s super short for being as pricy as it is.
