Hi, I'm from Brazil, I found your video and used the translation, your video was the only one that really helped me, I'm very grateful to you, here in Brazil I didn't find any video that was as useful as yours, thank you!
Just got my PS5 Slim, my second console. The first one was the Xbox 360. It's my first time playing Call of Duty games on a console; I usually play on a mobile device (COD Mobile and WZ Mobile). I've been playing for 3 days now and am still getting used to it. There are a few minor improvements, but I still lack some skills like jump shotting, quick snapping aim, and long distance aiming. thanks for the video man
Man I’m trying thank you so much I need to play claw because all the controllers with back buttons are expensive and normally the good controllers are standard so I need to be able to a lot at one time when playing a game
i just found out about this grip yesterday after gaming for 20 years lol im having a hard time moving my index finger around for the xo buttons etc but gonna keep trying cause this just makes sense thank you for this video
I recently started playing COD MW3 an i've been wanting to learn claw for so long but just giving up but now that i watched this video i should be able to master claw in no time. all i gotta do is stay consistent and keep practicing. also Im trying to get good at other things in cod such as movement and aim and i don't know where to start. once i've learnt claw and feel comfortable with it where should i start training my movement and aim? if you could answer this or possibly make a video on how to practice movement and aim that would be highly appreciated. Thanks 💯💯
Aim you’ll practice in bot lobbies alongside movement. That’s where a lot of your practice will occur. The real test is playing pubs where people react different than bots. The situations unfold different too. You just need to practice fundamentals in practice lobbies with bots to start.
*_How i can hold the controller with your index finger and middle finger?. Then how do I press the paddle with my ring finger, this is all because I have a wear reflex and I want to put all my fingers on the controller to have full control?_*
The controller is held by your right palm and the ring and pinky fingers. Your middle is for the R2 and/or R1 and the index needs to hit the face buttons.
Very good video but I have a question I really want to learn claw and I will fight against bots like you suggested but how long do you think it will take for me or anyone to get used to claw?
@@cuffnz Appreciate you. It varies because of people’s learning styles and speed to put the practice into making it a habit. Some pick up things fast and others don’t. Not a single person is the same.
what controls do you use? i usually play bumper jumper tactical flipped and i can learn controls pretty easily in under a few days, what do you think is better to do?
@@temptation1 is it okay to like practice my aim first using the l1 r1 button not using claw just the standard method of holding a controller? I feel im not comfortable yet on doing that.
@@-mv better now. It just really took time to get used to it. If I was a 8 year old kid doing this it would not be a problem today but I started doing this when im like 31 lmao
Hey so I'm a comp u18 player and I've never played claw bc it is really hard for me to aim but I love to yy,you think over time the aim thing will get better or should I just stick to my normal thing?
Over time you’d adjust to claw and your aim would get better than just starting to learn the grip. I know people like to YY, because it looks cool and adds flare. I get it. I do it too. I wouldn’t switch to claw though for that single reason. I’d switch to claw if I wanted to learn a grip that was going to save me cash. If you’re not concerned about that at all, I don’t see a reason for you to personally switch.
@@temptation1 well not the only reason bc i got 2 paddels for jump and slide so when i want to reload or yy i take my right finger which is on my right stick take it off to reload or yy so when i get in a gunfight i have to put my finger back which makes me lose many gunfights.
@K9_Dreww Then give claw a try. Stick with it though if you’re serious about converting. It’ll speed up the process of moving over. You can even claw with paddles too for more flexibility, which is nice.
@@temptation1 Yeah ive been trying it out for like an hr and i got the movemant down but its hard to aim ima keep trying for a while tho im sure itll fix
So I’m playing rainbow six siege and I won’t to try claw but the only thing is I need help with my middle finger shooting like I have to pull it all the way down and I don’t know if I’m doing it right on cod however I play law but I flipped the shooting to the L1 and R1 siege is different though I want to shoot with the bottom trigger please any tips
That's kind of just the way it is. Your index finger needs to come away from the face buttons to reach R2. Not sure if there's a flipped option for Siege, but I'm guessing not. I would also suggest you trying a modified claw where you use ringer finger for R2, middle for R1, and leave your index resting to the side or on the face buttons. That may take some adjusting, but with some time, it'll stick.
More flexibility. You being able to hit any face button without having to take your thumbs off the sticks is massive. Will this improve your aim? Probably not. Will it improve your movement and fluidity? Yes.
I feel like I'm pressing the middle of the right pad whenever I reach for R2 with my middle finger and it kinda hurts every single time... Am I doing something wrong or it normal and I'll get used to it? Or do I just have small hands 😭
If you’re hitting the middle of the touch pad with your middle finger, then my guess is the controller is too deep in your hand. It should be more in the fingers of your hand with the right hand rotated slightly on top of the controller. Watch my original video on claw for more on this: ruclips.net/video/82PykfLwtbE/видео.htmlsi=vTKJmgGanEtjGawO.
@@temptation1 pressing l3 is so much harder than circle rite ? i feel like pressing circle is more responsive than pressing the analog stick to crouch ...
It definitely requires more effort to push in L3 than Circle. In a CoD (MWII) where snaking and drop shotting are very common, I find myself using crouch more and more. I found it easier to just play default rather than tactical, which is what I've played for quite a long time. In the end, it's all preference.
Sounds like the face of the controller is facing downward to me. That would put your fingers on the back almost off the bottom of the controller. I hope that makes sense.
Hey idk if I mite get a reply but just want to play claw now to see if I can be faster I have been using paddles it’s my second day trying claw on cod and my fingers or killing me anyone got any tips am I holding it wrong or should I give it time ?
Sounds to me like you haven’t rotated your right hand enough on top of the controller. If you don’t rotate your hand, you’ll be crunching up your index finger to hit buttons toward the right side. It’ll hurt.
This shouldn't cause pain. I'd urge you to rewatch the video and take your time. Additionally, you can watch my original claw video for some information that could help.
Once I got my ps5 I couldn't get used to my regular six finger claw and started to use eight fingers. Feels a little weird at first but puts a lot less stress on my hands.
Nice vid! I'm starting to learn claw, and the thing that I'm finding most difficult is the dropshoting that I do very often.. and it doesn't feel very comfortable and quick.. Any tip? Thanks and love from Portugal!
Easiest solve for this in CoD is to switch to playing Tactical layout. That puts the crouch/prone button on R3. That’ll make dropshotting easier since you’re using your thumb that’s already on the stick rather than your right index finger to hit O. If you don’t want to change the layout, it’ll just take time and practice to get used to doing it with your index.
@@temptation1 I’ll keep practicing because with tactical very often I click the R3 without intention.. “pressure” of the game. Thank you for your answer!
Unfortunately claw don't work if you got small hands, It causes too much pain, especially when pressing down on R2 button (Middle Finger) and the X button (index finger) at the same time.
I have to disagree. I’d say my hands are medium to small for an adult and I don’t have an issue doing this. Maybe if you’re pre-teen, I could see that being an issue. For most people, they shouldn’t have an issue.
@@temptation1 In my 20s, comparing from your vid, my hands are slightly smaller than yours, My index finger struggles to reach the X button especially when pressing down on R2.
@@J.R.Smith. that’s going to happen. If you’re playing CoD, play flipped so you shoot with R1. Your index finger is going to come off X to properly press R2. It’s very challenging to press R2 and X together without moving your hand a bit.
It’s not for everyone. The video is here to help people that think they may want to switch. If you aren’t comfortable with claw, it’s all good. There are plenty of alternatives out there.
