The innovative, interesting choreography and the impeccable execution is a joy to watch. Just extraordinary use of feet, leg action and artistic interpretation by Marina. Dorin is the magic behind the magic. There's no better exponents of the rumba in the world right now than this pair imho. If they don't win Blackpool overall this year and they are a good chance of if it's marked on pure dance ability as a couple, they certainly should win this dance. Good luck to them I believe they will challenge strongly for the title and worthy of it .
I get the feeling without having seen them in many years that they don’t always dance their best at competitions, and wonder if consistency may be an issue.
@@benL1989 Have a look at their recent work , they are a very different beast now. The improvement has been significant in the past couple of years or so. Especially in Marinas expressiveness floor personality and dance characterisation. My biggest concern now with them is that Dorin in inclined to come across a little dead pan expressively on the competition floor. I think he could be a little more animated and take the lime light more on occasions but that's only a personal opinion and preference..
@@benL1989I find this true of a lot of top couples. Polina and Pasha, in particular - always look so effortless and sexy in practice videos. Valeria and Kiril, the same.
In the absence of Troels and Nino (i guess, they won’t participate since they were at open blackpool?), and taking into account the conservativeness of judging in ballroom dancing, I don’t see how they can not win all 5 dances. All pairs, as usual, will be placed in accordance with the rating :)
