Everybody but the ref knew the fight was over
God damn that ref was in the worst angle possible during that choke. Dude almost met god with that choke
Wasn't much more he could've done though. He was laying on both arms, right against the fence. It felt like forever, but he did a pretty solid job.

Urijah man, the first time I saw hime fight, gotta admit I just didn’t care for the way he came in. By the end of the fight I still didn’t care for him but I respected his skill. By the end of the second fight I saw him in I was a total fan and have been ever since. One of my favorite fighters of all time.
Its Uriyah Faber time to shine.
Ref should be fire or retrain.

Prime Faber was one of the most complete fighter in his generation. He can knock you out and can choke you out
Faber was the best in his weight class -- all the more so because the UFC DID NOT HAVE HIS WEIGHT CLASS.

My God ! What an utterly stupid ref! Almost cost the guys life. Has no f ing judgement whatsoever! And Uriah knew the guy was unconscious. Should have quit on his own. He can feel him go limp!

Almost got to the level of "wow Faber just punched Mizugaki's hand with his face what a great technique" levels.
stupid ref with his little dainty hand checks to see if it was over, he could have cost him his life or brain damage
Not even close, that was a very late stoppage but it takes up to a minute of being unconscious in a blood choke to die or take brain damage.
