Your videos inspire me to fall in love with my home! We have only been here for barely two years but sadly the craftmanship with our home is so lacking(very rushed and what we call in the South "half-assed" to be frank), it takes away the joy I wanted to truly have when moving here. The cabinets are absolutely horrible. I mean I am not exaggerating. They started chipping 3 months into moving in [was and still pissed about this. its sad that less than 5 years in and we have to either completely redo the cabinets or reface them]. I will say when I see your DIY makeovers, it makes me want work on projects to make us love our home instead of wanting to sell and move again. So thank you, thank you, thank you! Love the color of the flooring!!! Please do an update how it is holding up a few months down the road. :) Lastly, Tyler is quite the handy man! Good job! and your monstera plant root was giving me Strager Things Upside Down vine root vibes lol

When you walk on it does the lines where the grout is make a difference? Does it sink in those spots?

Wow! It looks amazing! My house is a hodgepodge of floors including old nasty thin carpet so I've decided to do this all over. At least it will look better until we can do an actual remodel. Thank you for sharing. Very cute family!

That looks so good. It matches way better than the tile that was there. I am amazed at the difference. I can’t wait I to see the whole house. We used that kind of tile in a bathroom in our old house. It was way darker. But it was a half bath, so it was fine. I usually don’t go for gray. But that looks wonderful in our house. Great job!

I just put down “storm gray” vinyl flooring like that on my small glassed in porch. Such a great transformation! The hardest part I found was keeping it pushed tight together….I used painter’s tape and that worked. Easy to clean and walked on it right away. I found mine at Ollie’s for a steal.

We had white vinyl tile and white grout throughout our house besides our family room - that was real hardwood! We just covered it all up with dark wood! Amazinggggg !!!! Huge game changer ! I feel like my whole style has changed !
I was soo close to getting dark wood because they had that as an option for the peel and stick but the grey went better with our carpet. Dark wood is so pretty!!

Look awesome. I've been wanting to redo my bathroom the color is horrible. Do you have any updates on the bathroom peel and stick? Does it hold well after summer heat, humidity, cold weather and wet feet? Thanks in advance!
Question - I'm about to install this exact same floor, but in one area I will have to slide a heavy bed back and forth at least once a month to change the bedding, do you think sliding furniture over this floor will cause it to move/create gaps? Do you have any experience with sliding furniture over it and how it affects it? thank you!

Did you have any trouble with the grout lines underneath the new floor. I want to do this but I'm concerned about needing to level out the floor underneath.

It looks amazing and so affordable! You Both did a great job! Were you able to walk on it right away or do you need to wait some time to make sure it adheres? Your last couple of renos are genius. Who needs a total demo at a cost when you can use stickered home improvement at a steal?!?! 😊👍🏼
Ahhh thank you so much! I am so excited with how it turned out. So there was some time it needed to set but we walked on it right away with no issues. We were supposed to roll it after putting it down but we never did lol It is holding up super well though! ♥️

Great job!! Your floors look amazing and I'm excited to start on our floors. We have the roll out vinyl that the last owners put down and I hate because moving anything heavy can put a hole in the floors 🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️ Did yall move the appliances out and put the floors underneath them or just around them?
So we just put it around them! The peel and stick is a somewhat temporary before we can afford to tear up the tile! We may go back and do it under the appliances still! 😍
We put ours under appliances and it holds really good under oven/range and dishwasher. Under the fridge it just unsticks all the time because motor and fans on the fridge are closer to floors. We had to use finish gun with staples/nails to hold it in place and prevent unsticking
@@vjtsunshine Great tip, I'll be making sure to secure it better under the fridge. The last thing I want to do is constantly pulling out that heavy fridge because the floor is being disobedient 😂

I did this with the same.peel and stick tile and it looked amazing but then a few weeks later they started to peel up and look awful. I hope yours hold up well

Hey, I have this annoying wooden floor in my rental room...I'm a bit concerned placing this stickers directly on it cause what if it doesn't come off when I'm moving or damage the floors even more

I just put down TrafficMaster Peel and Stick in my upstairs. I think you make it look/sound easier than it really is (or at least what it was like for me). I was so obsessed about there being a millimeter of extra spacing between the vinyl planks or the planks being slightly crooked. I kept tearing up the first plank I put down. I was doing the flooring alone too. I had to do a lot of cutting and used and oscillating tool to undercut the door jams and the molding. Then when I was doing the closet, I removed the molding. Granted this was my first "major" home improvement project so I was learning a lot along the way.

Does it slip on your tile? I tried this in my bathroom and it didn’t stick and just slipped around when I walked on it
Not at all! It is SUPER sticky and has not moved around at all

Do you feel the grout lines underneath ?
I was actually super nervous about this but not at all! They are thick enough to where you cannot tell that there is anything underneath ❤️
It will show up later ( maybe a few years). We have the same flooring but it was put on a thick wooden boards and where two boards meet you can see that little line in the stick floor now (but we have these floors for like 4 years now).
Fyi they sell glue at the home Depot specialty for these situations
Seriously…it looks AWSOME ‼️ ( & I’m a new subscriber 😉) my concern could it possibly tear easily with the wear & tear of family, animals ect..& everyday living ❓
Not really, we had these floors for almost 4 years now and with kids in the house it’s still looking like new.
These plank are slippy as hell in bathrooms 😂 tiles are slippy well well well you just wait lol
