- This stone blacksplash we installed for one of my best friends is by far one of our most asked for tutorials. I am not going to lie, it was a lot of work but it was definitely worth it! Hopefully this tutorial gives you some inspo or courage to try it or to do something similar in your own kitchen! You can also find a full blog post with a list of all the materials and supplies used for this project on our website.

Wow! Gorgeous you guys!! What a beautiful kitchen ! Love the stone backsplash,....and that deep window sill is absolutely dreamy!
Thanks so much!
Do you need to seal this to prevent from splatters etc? Looks amazing!
Hi Hi!! I would love to know what color grout you used? :) We are using this same stone for our kitchen this weekend and I love the look of this grout!
Gorgeous!
Thank you! 😊
Did you seal it or does it absorb oils/food?
What kind of Rock Ridge stone did you use? Can you include a link?
All I could find is rock ridge but not the type of stone that’s just the brand
Alamo. It's in the description.
Here's the link. www.flooranddecor.com/ledgers-stone/alamo-sandstone-random-ledger-panel-100899772.html
what thickness did you use for the cement board? 1/2 inch? or can you use 1/4 inch? How many sq ft of stone did you use? Link for Amazon shelf brackets. Totally doing this i love it
Looks great! Where did you purchase the stone?
got it at Floor & Decor. We used Rock Ridge Alamo Sandstone Random Ledger Panels.
How many square foot would you say you needed for the back splash??
