RECORDING NOTE
This song was recorded in the de Jong Concert Hall on April 5th, 2021. The choir was reduced to 50% of its usual size, the students were adhering to COVID-19 protocols of 6-foot social distancing and mask wearing during all rehearsals, performances, and recording sessions.

Heavenly. Fine singing
I remember being a scared, excited freshman auditioning for this choir. Honestly, singing in this choir felt like this song makes you feel and getting to feel it every single day. It was such a sacred experience and greatly changed my life and who I am. ❤️

I've sung this in SATB before, so it was hard not to sing along with the part I learned, but this redition is just stunning. I have to echo Dan Forrest's comment, you really make this piece shine. It just makes me want to stop in the middle of something and listen, it commands that kind of attention. Thank you so much!

I got to admit that I was so used to with VOCES8 version that I was a bit sceptical about the female choir version of it. BUT to my surprise, I LOVE this rendition as well! ❤️🥰
You know, when I first heard this song on VOCES8 album, I could not stop crying because the lyrics just reminds me of my late mom. But now, having it being sung by all women somehow makes sense of this song. I can even interpret some new message in this video. All the women in every color in the choir is like the “sun” from every facet from dusk till dawn shining over the male cellist who is like the “earth”. Shoutout to all women out there. ❤️
