Hey there, not sure if I completely understand your question but the smoke was created from a cheap $20 smoke machine that people normally use around Halloween. It works great! Similar results to a professional hazer but it has a very low output, meaning you can only shoot so much smoke into a space before it has to "recharge".
love it! nice music and visual storytelling. would've been nice if the room faded to black when he closed the door, or if he opened it and the light blew the screen out.
That edit at 0:41 had no special effects but felt like a 300m dollar cinematic cut. Amazing.
