It's not really different. It just proves how self rez breaks the game. Same with the solo on Atheon. I'm 100% sure Bungie will not bring Self rez into Destiny 2. Too many issues brought about by one skill.
Warlock is for casuals that can't manage to live on one life. The fact that he HAD to use a Warlock to get rid of charge lockout was a mechanic desperation. If he could have he would probably have preferred a titan for this.

OP can afford to miss some damage earlier on, and he would still teleport at the same health at the end, and he does have some buffer room for that. Once Aksis goes to last stand, however, you have a set amount of time to deal a set amount of damage to finish him. Here, OP would have wiped had he taken half a second longer to down Aksis.

AND He throws all balls and manages to do MAJOR Damage in such little time! My favorite part is when he shoots then Melee and repeat lol

What you said is true, but I'd like to add that Strike boss health is altered by the composition of the fireteam
+Azaxx raid bosses always have the same health. that's why he used every pillar, 6 guardian can kill aksis using no pillars.
