George Burns was 36 years old here Still a few years shy of middle aged. Gracie was beautiful, and she seemed too innocent and fragile to be real. She was truly a treasure. George certainly knew what prize he had in her. P.S. George is actually acting in these golden oldies without his lifelong prop a cheap El Producto cigar .

There is only one Gracie Allen, and she was absolutely brilliant.
