I was at rock a little " in may 1986 in Indianapolis outside, peter frampton opened for her .! she ruled as usual, I was just 17...🤯💋✌
This is possibly the best quality Rock A Little live performance i've ever heard, it's so clear, it's such a shame it's not the whole set, But it's still fantastic, thank you so much for posting, i'm going to be listening to these forever!
I too was wondering about this video, because the RAL tour was my favorite tour of Stevie's. I am pretty sure this 9-24-86 in Sydney, Australia. I compared this song with the one I have and it is the exact same.
Well she was in Australia with Tom Petty and Bob Dylan around this time. Maybe this was a rare performance with one of their bands?

Thanks for posting this but I have so many questions. Stevie did not tour Australia until Sept 1986. It was the last leg of the RAL tour. Could your date be wrong? But this band and sound does not sound like her 1986 band. The Outside the Rain track sounded like Benmont Tench alot. Maybe he joined for the Australian tour? This Stand Back also sounds different than her RAL tour. What is this from?
This sounds like the worst performance of this song I've heard from her on RUclips and it was apparently just before she got off drugs. You can tell it was really needed.
And it's far better than many on this tour! Remember, this is a soundboard recording. They sound way different than an audience recording. No "filter" of the arenas reverb effect. I saw her in Hartford, CT in 1986. She was an absolute mess! We were speachless after the show at the terrible condition she was in
