Tyson's injury in '08 was the butterfly effect that changed the sport forever. No way Bolt was celebrating past the line with a fit Tyson right behind him.
I have been doing your atomic speed workout (mostly on tarmac) for about twice a week for at least two years.
Every couple months I have to run 3-4 km a few times a week (which I otherwise don't do) and every time my left achilles flares up after the first run. Any tips to prevent this?

Technique should not be overlooked in the context of injuries, for example excessive anterior pelvic tilt will both slow you down and highly increase the stress on your muscles, speaking from experience.
Tore my meniscus after focusing too much on PV and HJ. I didn't do a single sprinting practice in my spring season. Next season, I'll sprint for sure.

Coach, approximately how many weeks would it take a guy over 50 to get to the point where he could sprint at maximum speed safely?
Thank you Coach, Do you do the full RPR sequence every time or just Zone 1?
And, does the sprinting technique needs to be perfect in order to get the “bulletproof “ effect? Or even a novice sprinter will get this effect if he sprints maximally?
We do only zone one.
The body adapts.
Sprinting is unusual because of requiring a super fast frequency of contract/relax. Contracted muscles that don’t relax quickly tear.
Thank you coach!!
Coach, what is your "favorite" lactate session for the 400m?
