Awe Michelle seems like a real sweetheart , and to honor her grandfather as she does.. that is really heart felt!
She is a beautiful creative lady. So glad we get to enjoy people like her and John Turman
Her home is BEAUTIFULLY decorated.. Such talent ❣️💯
Wow! Wow! Linda, you draw the most creative, inspiring, lovely people to you! I want to be friends with her and all your other friends! Love, love, love her beautiful house and decorating! Sooo inspiring to me!👏❤️
What a great idea to use this technique on trinket boxes. It was nice to see Leah again and to hear Stewart participate in the conversation. Beautiful home! Thanks Linda.
Thank you Michelle for sharing your beautiful home and your creativity with us. It is very kind and generous.
I love everything in her interior. Really outstanding.
Bravo
How kind and generous of Michele to share her beautiful home and her talents with all of us. Her home lends a very unique and creative style - I love that it has no 'rules', just decorate your home with things you love and things that have meaning and memories. The backstory of how her business got its name - so very sweet, indeed. Leah - love your dress!!!
Love this tutorial. What a great way to elevate a common object. She was so kind to share. 😊
You must live in a wonderful community to have so many talented people with beautiful homes!
Her craft room is the thing dreams are made of!! What a fun episode Linda! So many good ideas in this episode that are easy and meaningful and gorgeous!
Love Leah’s dress! So cute!
Little boys could keep their favorite “matchbox car” in an empty matchbox wrapped in vintage matchbox paper!
Such a fabulous craft. I think I will try to make one. I love them. Michelle is so very nice and welcoming. Thank you Linda for taking us along to see her beautiful and unique home as well.
A tip for making the paper smooth out easily is to mist the back of the paper lightly before you apply it to the box.
I started with match boxes. I don't do match boxes lately, but I will do a large one now! I use Mackenzie-Childs napkins I buy in bulk and I don't sell them because they are copyrighted! I decorate my house for a few dollars (Mackenzie-Childs has expensive napkins and wrapping paper)! I have a lot of ideas now for the decoupage! Boxes, matches, ornaments, and I will start embellishing with silver jewelry from my Great Aunt. Now I know what to do with fancy earrings I would never wear! I think new artists are more innovative, and I loved the marbles on top of obelisks. I also think the office is my favorite room in the house. I love blue, I love nature and feathers that are framed, and the bunny skin had a butterfly shape if you look at it right! Michele, thank you!! And thank you Linda! I hope you make something one day with decoupage! I also hope Leah wears that dress again! It is the same pattern as my 103 year old wedding dress that belonged to my grandmother! She used lace made from Spain by nuns living in Cuba. She made it while living in Jacksonville, Florida and perhaps she was a WWI nurse. She owned one of their hats. She never talked about what she did during the war. Peace!
I’d love to know the story of the Godzilla on the wall. Great space. Thanks for sharing. So many homes are very minimal and bare. I love a good collection.
Thank you Michelle, beautiful home. Leah gorgeous dress!
Thank you so much for sharing your matchbox decorating technique! I'm eager to make some for my home. 😊
Wow - a home decorated like that in Edmond! That is world class! Impressed!! Beautiful and Michelle is a treasure! Thank you Linda for bringing this to us.
A fine home indeed.
Very inspiring!
I have a Scotland story.
I was at my lodging In Glasgow, and I actually saw a rainbow’s end!
It literally landed on the River Clyde.
I took photos,it was magical.
I loved this episode. I will be making these for sure!
Just so beautiful! I love the things you do and make that are memories for your family! Well done!!! I have a box of those matches in my cupboard and will be making this craft!!! Thanks or sharing!❤
Hope you all are safe❤
Linda you have such creative friends including Leah and Stewart!
Linda, you didn't disappoint! Can't wait to get started on some of these for fun gifts for my friends and family!!! Thank you so much!!!! You know I adore you!!!
Michelle does beautiful art work! ❤
Thank you. ❤
Oh, I like the decopodged matches idea.
I'm going to hobby lobby , they have every kind of papers! What a cute gift.
Did I tell you Linda, that your episodes are the most creative, inspiring and pleasant to watch? I love this episode. I just ordered the same match boxes. I’m going to create mine. What kind of glue did she used? ❤😊😊
Fun times..
Graceful Lady.
❤
SO SO COOL!!!!
Michelle you are so creative! What a wonderful home; thank you for sharing. 🌿
Enjoyed this so much!!
Well done! great talent
Not into crafting much anymore, but this I would enjoy. Thanks for the how-to video. Will make a few for stocking stuffers!❤
That's a neat idea, to use a piece of inherited jewelry on top. Shells would be neat too
No. 2 is my favorite
I hope you are all safe during the devastating storms there. In Australia I’m hearing very sad news of it. 😢❤
Huge bedroom, love all her collections but oh the dusting she must have to do. What a wonderful office and her collections are marvelous loved the matchbox lesson.
Maybe she has a maid. But it is so worth it to dust
She probably has someone in to clean.
Hi, Linda. I'm Sokwon Kim. Thank you for your video.❤ Welcome.
Hope everyone is safe ok OK
Thanks for the tutorial Michelle, always wondered how to make those covered matchboxes. I inherited some framed butterflies (and a beetle) from my mother-in-law. Have them hung mostly in our home office. Also received a framed bat, which I passed on to my sister. She likes to display it around Halloween.
Beautiful home and thank you for sharing. I had been thinking about installing a new foyer light fixture and after seeing it in your bathroom, I am ordering it today.
Any chance she'd be willing to share the source for the powder bath wallpaper> I LOVE IT.
Hope you’re doing okay with all the bad weather! jd
How are y'all doing with all of this really bad weather in Oklahoma ! Be safe!
Does she add any mod podge on top of the paper once it’s in place?
Hello Linda 😘
How are you guys with the tornados that went through OKL? give a update that your safe please
Where do you purchase a bone folder
She can purchase fireplace matches at the Dollar Tree store for $1.25 a box or the Family Dollar Store 😊
Wonder where she got the “Louisiana Downs” poster or print? I live about 5 miles from there!!
They are beautiful. Does she make the obelisks too? (To sell)
I didn't see any on Michelle's Etsy Shop, only pedestals but those are cool too.
I hope that was Estes park. Es tes
I picked 3 just like Leah! I would think that Stewart would pick the coleus!
