Here in Armenia, probably the most famous endangered animal is the caucasian leopard only some 10-20 remain in the country living in a couple of protected areas...
@@willp.8120Don't blame them, blame the west, it's all about money at this point. America uses them as a source of trees and other natural resources and they get paid. Well, they're also to blame for not thinking outside of money.

@MrKoala3000 Nope! That's only if you claim the whole Jammu AND Kashmir to be Pakistan. But if you use the international borders, then India also has brown bears (sorry for the yap)
2:44 I am from Iraq and I have seen so many of them here in the wild especially in mountainous regions such as Iraqi Kurdistan region and in some parts of western Iran as well
I have seen a panda! By far the most amazing animals I've ever seen were African wild dogs. They're even above tigers for me. I really love most animals
India is the only country on the planet with both LIONS and TIGERS. In India, we have Tigers living in the East and Lions in the West. Even though LION population is quite small, TIGER population is highest in the world in India.
0:53 Regarding decline in elephant numbers, it not entirely due to habitat loss. Elephant's were bred in captivity in South Asia for ages. There it was used for military purposes, executing criminals, performing heavy labour, as a vehicle by the rich & as a symbol of royal authority. Ivory trade here wasn't as large scale as that in Africa, so less elephants were killed for ivory. The use of elephants declined with the advent of modern technology, so people no longer found breeding elephants in captivity to be useful.
Every animal decline here is due to habitat loss. For example, almost all areas of India are now farmlands and so they don't have much space to exist. And when they do go to the farmlands, they are mostly just shot.
@Zimbax It's amazing just how many there were in lockdown. There were often 3 in my garden at night. One night, I was at a friend's house, and 4 showed up!
We need to help save all these animals and imporove conservations. All these animals play a crucial role in all ecosystems. Thank you so much so for this video. Poaching and trophy hunting needs to stop!!
I saw pandas in the zoo when I was a kid. I didn't know it's one of the most endangered creatures in the world, so I myself wasn't very fascinated by it in particular, pretty much felt the same as seeing other animals. I saw them through glasses and they were in a room of basically nothingness. If they really want to increase the amount, at least give them a better environment to live, a tiny jungle or something, instead of a prison cell, but that was a long time ago. I am still grateful to see pandas irl before on social media.
6:48 no this made me thank god , i live in lebanon and i’m already horrified by leashed dogs so what about lions ? I would die from the horror of the mere possibility or meeting a lion
Here in the U.K. we have the Scottish Wildcat, it was once widespread across mainland Great Britain, but heavy hunting occurred due to the false claim they killed game birds (their hunting of them barely made a dent in reality), and interbreeding with domestic cats, there are very few of them in the wild and some believe that there are none without some domestic cat heritage in the wild.

I hope we can try to save them all
same. I'm hoping to work in conserving painted wolves one day, but I wish I could help every species :(
Humans can't even save each other.
Yeah, that's also true, it's shocking how destructive of a species we are.
Talk to Asia and Africa about it. They have less respect for nature than those in the Americas.
