*constructing tennis center*
Contractor: What color do you want the floors?
Owner: Neon green
Contractor: ???
Owner: Just do it
For everyone asking, D1 college in the US plays lets because there was a crapload of cheating. People would hit aces and the other player would just call a let.
Thank you. I've always wondered why.
D2 men’s has also changed to this rule
What's let?
@@tybo6376 the ball touches the net and then falls in the oponent area. If it falls off its out and they go second serve. Let you repeat the 1st serve
Yeah, I re-watched that a few times and couldn't figure out what was going on. I thought I was crazy for a minute. I didn't know that was a rule in college tennis. Interesting.
2nd point: Simon vs Monfils
Like literally true
Guy with the red shorts at 9:17 has a beautiful backhand
wasnt a backhand
@@rynoh5115 what was it then? lmao
mario hvh A few of them were
That second point was just like a rally drill.. zzz gotta get after it, especially inside! You can relax your margins a little bit!
6:45 and the let ??
In Usa there is no let
Where ae the net points, or drop shots. Its crazy, it looks like there are not many players in my age going that often to the net like I do.
ya so many opportunities for drop shots and it seems like they don’t use it too often. Coming to net as well
RUclips recommended it Turned out to be a great 16mn video
Seals were watching the game
So many short balls. My goodness. And they still play 2 meters behind the baseline.
Yeah sure, why don’t you try going up to the net against these kids. From your videos I can tell you’d get double bageled. Haha fuckin keyboard warriors crack me up
@@mateusfairbairn he's not wrong lol
there is a reason why college players are struggling when they turn pro, tatics
they are not able to attempt to get the ball on the rise, and with short balls, they are not attacking when they are supposed to be
more or less we could get destroyed by them, doesn't mean @leomerya12 was wrong
You wouldn’t get a point off anyone in the entire video stupid
Yeah you have a point maybe I got a little too heated. I just constantly see low-level amateur players on youtube saying “oh this guy sucks” to top-level college players. Although I disagree with the statement that college players are worse tactically and that’s why they struggle. The fact is, juniors who are good enough to go on tour at 18 and make money will do so; juniors who are not as good will get a scholarship and be able to compete for 4 years until they mature enough to play pro. Its not like there’s some kind of tactical difference between college and non-college players. If serving and volleying was a better tactic, then there would be serve and volley kids at the top of college game. The game has changed since the 60s
@@mateusfairbairn With respect, you need to understand what people are saying, before you get emotionally involved. I never said they sucked or weren't good players. Cursing people out from the jump is going to betray you as a source of logic.
The only person who insulted anyone here is you.
How many shots was the rally at 0:23? I counted 51
got that too
Sarthak Agrawal My longest rally ever is 36 shots
Are u any of these guys in the Atp now
nope they are not good enough
nobody is going to talk about the shot at 7:31 that was way out but they played it?????
Great to watch👍
Good videos
What NRTP rating are they? 5.5? 6.0?
bruh they make like no unforced errors these sum of the longest rallies ive seen lmao
Mitch Stewart (not in red) UTR 13 in 2020
Great match!
If the mom in the background could shut up, this would have been even greater.
David (guy in red) was so good his freshman and sophomore, but junior and senior year he didn’t showed any sign of improvement, more like his skills disintegrated...
aca es donde me doy cuenta que mi tenis es bastante mediocre, como me gustaria jugar asi
Are these sophomores??
modern defensive tennis
Look at all these pro coaches in the comments
12:15 let
There at no let’s in college
They play lets in college tennis
And I thought I was good
Me too
why do they keep playing lets
college tennis plays lets as i saw below same as next gen rules
To be fair it’s a little boring they are just pushing the ball..... they don’t attack much
Those guys look like clay players with the way they hit lol
What I was thinking. Lots of spin and just keeping the ball in
日本で言うところのインカレor王座かな?
Why is tennis being played indoor?
You really think when there is any precipitation or uncomfortable temperatures we just don’t play? Let me ask you why basketball is sometimes played inside, soccer, hockey, volleyball, track, football, etc.
Guy in the red near the end deserved to have the ball hit at him. His wailing on every shot was disgraceful lol
Michael Taylor Time stamp?
14:18 he is yelling with every hit like he is acting. Usually the noises players make come from the body expressing so much effort. This guy sounds like it is a load of bs.
球おっそ
さすがにわろた
They play better than professionals
A professional would just smack them out of the court. They just keep hitting high spinny balls from the backline, while pros have full court coverage and can hit flatter shots more confidently for winners
Wtf is this
Too much spin
Too slow
It is just boring Like female tennis
Different people have different styles of play
Most of these players aren’t very good
