I'm not gonna lie, this Knuckles vs. Mecha Sonic fight was fucking intense as hell.
Also Mecha Sonic going full rage mode on Knuckles is super intense

I am glad we actually get to see Knuckles actually be able to give Mecha Sonic a hard time. I had a problem with Sonic's friends get killed so easy in the first SMBZ. Definitely better than before! 😊💖
Well....Mecha was just playing with Knuckles. He never had a hard time against him. Still love how hard Knucks is trying.

In the original true story Knuckles bodied Mecha Sonic and he even lost after absorbing the Master Emeralds power to Knuckles. It's only in SMBZ and spinoffs that Mecha Sonic is this strong. Knuckles in Archie comics though would kick Mechas butt lol

Well it obvious Smashinity was greatly influended by that movie.
Mecha sonic with that insane amount of plot armor though.

I gotta be honest here, i have a huge bias for Mecha Sonic Mk.II so im happy about it. His design was awesome in 1994 and it awesome now.........im drunk lol
I dont understand how there is anything wrong with this animation. I see people saying the animator stole animations- namely from the original SMBZ but... how? They do realize that sprite animations usually all use the same groups of sprites. This isnt like normal animation where it can just be traced over and copied. At most i can tell he took a lot of inspiration from smbz with some similar shots and the world around them but there is NEVER anything wrong with that. Not to mention SMBZ is.. REALLY old now and in my opinion this looks considerably better than it did with more dynamic shots and action sequences. I dont see the problem.
Its because people cant seperate the art from the artist and because theyre 24/7 on the internet looking for stuff to get mad about😒

There's the thing of separating the art from the artist. With Smashinity though, its on a separate case. As evident, last year was a pretty wild time for Smasher and the people involved with the drama. From harassing a minor to acting like an egotistical pig to the endless plagiarism drama. The fact he got away with Episode 5's copying in his soulless bootleg is insane, let alone with the leaks that happened earlier. It's no surprise how braindead his normie fans are willing to defend him after all the crap he pulled.

What he said is true regarding the allegations. Smashinity is a good example of not trusting your heroes, and he can manipulate his audience in believing false facts
SMBDX is not entertainment this episode damaged a lot of sprite animation reputation. Let that sink in

@@KillyRR i wouldn't say they stole that from dbz lets not forget that move was very simple back then a charge attack and since knuckles was red the attack was red and it was more of a glow than knuckles actually having a aura it was the fan animations that turned it into a transformation more than an attack technique it's not as obvious as super sonic with the hair sticking up and turning golden

Well in this hes still called Mecha Sonic. Also most of this model, body and head is still Mecha. Only the face is from Metallix.

Nope, that's him using Maximum Heat from SA1. He gets a Light speed like attack with it but Smash translated it into a Kaioken. Pretty neato stuff.

Alot? i just noticed 2 or 3 moves. Well and the background although SMBZ doesnt have the blue pillars. Heres the thing Yoshi vs Metalix copies alot of animes like DBZ, One Piece and One Punch Man. So the one that started to copy stuff was SMBZ.

@@KillyRR Mainly comparing to OG series, SMBZ still has the charm but the way this fight actually emulated Dragon Ball-like choreography (like 4:55) I’ve never seen something like that in a sprite animation, granted this was my first time watching something from SMBDX
