Man I tell ya. Want to lose me as a customer, have a sales rep with zero personality and comes off as youre bothering him. I have walked away from several purchases because of this. If a company does not care enough about the presentation and sales initiative then it makes me question the quality of the product as well. This video shows the perfect dichotomy between good and bad salesmen.
The trailer with the hybrid enclosed and regular deck is simple but smart! I've never seen one, but it makes sense. Towing a car, but maybe you have some tools, parts, etc that you want to keep in there. Or if you normally tow something too tall for a regular enclosed trailer, but still tow cars occasionally. Super smart
It would be great to bring a mini ex to a job site too. keeps your tools dry in a standup area, not tossed in the back of a truck. I bet it also keeps the machines cleaner as the enclosed portions catches all the dirt from the truck. absolutely love it.
Trailgate: if you can’t manage to remember there is something in your tailgate’s path then you’re just stupid and shouldn’t be pulling a trailer. SERIOUSLY!
Yep that first product wouldn't have helped me. My tailgate will drop with the trailer on. Well I left it down and pulled around to unhook the trailer. Turned to the left, bent the hell it out of it. Turned to the right, bend the hell out of it.... 🤦 Didn't hurt the trailer jack. DESTROYED my tailgate...
Glad to see Southland trailers! From Lethbridge Alberta! I worked in aggregates in Calgary and Southland dumb beds were very popular and VERY good! Could not recommend enough, great company.
Stanley!!! I would be so appreciative on advice. I'm buying small loader like ur kubota and debating between metalpless or 10ft, 12ft box? Advice? I worry it won't handle 12ft all the time?
The guy's from southland nice looking trailers, but whole robot thing its sounds like taking food off the welder/fabricators table, who knows stan some day robots could have effect on your business and life style. Cool video besides that robot b.s.
It is very true. I have owned one of your dump trailers and one of your deck over 20' trailers. The paint started to fail within 6 months with very little use and all highway driving. The deck over came with a twisted frame right from the factory. The response our selling dealer received from the factory was the jig was out of alignment and a few trailers were sent out but they perfectly fine. Sold the deck over trailer and bought a Diamond C and the quality between the 2 trailers is night and day. Sold the dump trailer after only 18 months because the paint was failing so bad it looked like it was 10 years old.@@jasonsailer8954
I own a southland, and I love it well-made, high weight rating for 14'
liking that iron ox truck bed
Thanks Stan. Cool trailers and stuff.
👍👍👍
interesting, never though that some trailers had a jack on the hitch! love the videos!
My travel trailers I can't lowwer the tailgate. My trailer I haul my UTVs with, I moved the jack back so I could drop the gate.
oof@@OntarioBearHunter
Thanks!
The guy from Southland is a great example of what to do when representing a company at a trade show, he also kind of reminds me of Walter white.
Love it 😂👌
Yes he's awesome
Great video, can we see more of the trailers that's in the beginning of the videos. Thanks
Alberta bound are ya. We’re a few hrs north west of Lethbridge. Great company Southland.
Cool! Glad you are going behind the scenes at Southland. That will be an interesting video. Thanks, Stan!
You betcha! More to come
@@Dirtmonkey looking forward to it!

And which one pissed in your Cheerios?! They all seemed to explain what they had and what it could be used for!🤷♂️🤣

You said it 🙌
I even thought of like having a offroad jeep or something and I believe he said 7 or 8ft inclosed. You could add ac and camp in it aswell.

Cannot afford any of them but are nice to look at what’s out there nice job
The thumb nail confused me for a second. It took me longer than it should have lol

1:50 - seems like this tailgate bonk dent problem is a result of poor placement of the jack by the trailer manufacturer.

Stan I like the trailer with the storage up front, which would make a great hardscaping trailer
For sure 👍
Holy crap, that contractor's trailer is something to die for, as a self-employed carpenter myself
Operator safety = unemployment
When and where is this show i would like to come next time
cant always trust those engineers
6:20 grease nipples on the hinges, that’s nice to see
Engineered beam, where have we heard that term before.
Those sundawner trailers are the bees knees!
Southland too! Wow
Heck yeah 👊
I never knew trailers would be so interesting. Hope your week is going well! Love the videos!
Of course they are 🤓
🥃🇨🇦
Go Stanley
That jack lock cover is so very good!!Thanks 😊.
Very cool, in our case we bought an extended shank for our travel trailer. However not many manufacturers offer an extended shank.
You bet!
Me and my wife ,just met your daughter at work today. We asked how the chickens are doing
She called and told me that. Haha. Thats pretty cool!
Awesome show Stan
Glad you liked it 👊

Thank you for your videos. I am looking to buy a trailer and watching your videos really help me a bunch. Keep up the great work really enjoy it. 👍👍👍
When you go to the GIE or Equip Expo this year could you go a little more in depth with Bad Boy mowers? I ask as you don't do much with them.
Nice one Stan. 👍👍🏴🏴
You always show us the latest and greatest these are really nice
Great video brother.👍🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

Southland trailer are some of the worst trailers in the industry. Terrible paint and very thin metal.
Not ture

I love both of my southland trailers. Great paint and excellent build quality
