Man! I work on the Railroad that's next to their factory. I would love to meet you Stan when you where in town. God Bless and can't wait to see the plow work this winter.
Actually, I saw a county in fla bought 2 snow plows for their trucks to push debris out of the roads during storms faster and more mobile than a large loader
If they made the moldboard out of stainless steel, maybe we would consider them.. That yellow paint is an eyesore, plus it will look much worse after some use! One of our SS Fisher XV2's will have 10 seasons on it this year & it still looks good, and performs great! Greetings form northern Vermont..
I just today discovered that I have a dealer that sells these brands just an hour away. I had no idea. Stumbled up it by accident! Hope you are doing well!
Hey - Not sure if you're looking for content ideas, but one thing that I'd like to see is some type of truck, trailer, heavy equipment recommendation. I've been looking at buying a machine, but then you have to factor in trailer type, then figure out a truck to pull it and it seems that once I get to that point, I'm stuck getting a super duty to cover all basses. Not sure if you've ever done a video on anything like that before.
Carriage bolts are only good from the factory, whenever I replace them, a standard bolt goes in when possible, they just wear out and you end up having to cut the carriage bolt out
Ah ha Lukas was there again from Arctic I’ve heard all about this plow Couple of months ago by a close friend I also know Lucas and his brother and father personally great people👍👍👍Tell Randy I said hello also John S 🙄🙄
any snowplow repairs for meyers near rutledge , sanstone, controler first time in 25 years doesnt work, ?? meyers pad not pistol grip, just doing 50 feet drive personal, , later thxs in advance
Yea, it’s called a Razorback 😂 Why would you want to manually put wings on and off of a plow that was initially designed with wings, then redesigned without them?
I honestly don't think so. I was looking these up and they are Boss 9'2 dxt poly 1065 to 1095 lb with mount Steel is 10 lbs lighter from poly Stainless is 42 lbs heavy than poly Arctic with boss mount 1,142 plus mount so 1,272 to 1,302 lbs So 207 lbs isn't to bad for a much beefer plow
I have a old nine foot fisher plow on my one ton chevy dump and it caused a torsion bar to bust ,it's very heavy and made for the highway ,not for back and forth driveing plowing all day.
@brownsrepairs573 I hear ya. I totally understand. I know just looking at it, it looks like it weighs 3,000 lol. Plus with all the front end up grades we can get now I think it's able to be done alot easier now
Arctic makes an excellent sectional pusher, and these plows look to be awesome, but we have to start making them in any color but yellow... orange, red.. anything but yellow! absolutely can't stand yellow and won't buy it.
@@ClintonCountyDroneGuy far more durable. I operate in Milwaukee area which has some terrible lots. There is no way around that. I've had wide outs and v plows where I've worn through center pins, wing cylinders, springs, you name it. For the labor time and parts, I can't really find any situation where a v plow or wideout can beat a straight blade with add on winglets. You will never recoup your price, wear parts and labor over operating a straight blade and thats our accounting being as precise as possible. I can do 90k sq ft an hour with a 9 foot pro plow and wing attachments. Every movement of the truck should be a plow down move and people lose their minds realizing they lose nearly half their potential production to maneuvers for the next pass...isnt reverse YOUR next pass?
The Razorback would be much better than any v-plow or wideout EVER was. The wings will help you increase your production. At 12 foot in straight mode you have 1/3 more plow than your 9 foot straight blade. 10’10” in scoop mode you’re carrying FAR more snow than your straight blade ever will. The Arctic is designed to take a beating and prevent premature wear, and if you do manage to wear it out, every component is independently replaceable, which will make the life span of a Razorback as long as you’re still interested in having an awesome plow.
@@ryanconrad1516 The issue isn't what it can do or how durable it is. Almost my entire fleet is all winged straight blades. Which means my frame, hydraulics and controls are not compatible. Western and Boss both have very high component costs so where would I purchase 22 units from? And then throw away the blade it comes with and pay 12k for 2 more feet. Math that out for me.
@@blackopsrocks if you’re replacing plows that already exist in your fleet, it wouldn’t make a ton of sense to swap all at once, but you could do a few every year or as your guys wreck the current setup.
This plow will last many many years, and like Lucas said, you’re getting salt savings with this plow over a traditional plow. So when you do the math on many years of service, and salt savings, this plow should make you tons of profit. I plan to have mine paid for by the end of this winter.
@@ryanconrad1516 if you could get 300 an hour for that plow then yes its worth it but who's paying that out not to mention salt eats your vehicle up and those costs
@@blacksmokematters4521 I can plow a $500 lot in an hour, worst case scenario it’s less than two hours. And I know that because I was doing that with my 9.2 V-plow. This plow is 3 feet wider than that at pretty much all times. Everything is getting expensive, why not invest in something that’s going to have a shelf life?
good snowplow info -- I'm wearing out a Western plow in the mountains and this could be a real option as a replacement
Man! I work on the Railroad that's next to their factory. I would love to meet you Stan when you where in town. God Bless and can't wait to see the plow work this winter.
Stan you should start a snow plowing operation here in Florida. Nobody does it here.
Miami has tons of powder!
Actually, I saw a county in fla bought 2 snow plows for their trucks to push debris out of the roads during storms faster and more mobile than a large loader
Hahahahaha
That’s what we do for a living, we just use skid steers, very Mobil and compact. And lots of power
😅😅😅😅
i am jealous, up here in alberta, canada all the great snow plow products you guys see ahead of time.
Stanley, bigger and better things are always happening in the world and it’s a great 👍 😮😊❤
that bassline made my beer go flat lol!

Wow seems like a great plow set up!
Nice one Stan. 👍👍🏴🏴

It's important to add the crush lock or crimp lock nuts and bolts are one time use. Both sides should be replaced after one fastening.
👍👍👍👍👍
These plows are going to cost as much as the truck shortly 😂
If I had a rear plow on my truck, the combination of plows would be worth more than my truck!
Arctic plows is the way to go for trucks and loaders
Stan I hear we are having a mild winter this year which usually means ice storms . And they suck because everyone loses power
Please make a video of every Booth at Equip Exposition!

Very cool but still doesnt work with my setup. Sad because Id look at this for sure if I didnt have to start over.
it's genius, it's work like mercedes S suspension
Hi,a ten foot plow on a modern 3/4 ton truck will wreck the truck in two years. Crazy traffic around Chicago.Better leave the winch on the plow.
I don’t know. It’s expensive for a retro plow. Nice but $$$$
Price don't sound bad for what you get ❤❤
Yeah if you find some 1 who's going to pay ya 300 and hour to plow to pay for the plow lolz
