  • This beef Stew / braise cooked using a rump roast cut of Angus beef is so very hearty , comforting and budget/ pocket friendly perfectly delicious for family dinners or lunch or even entertaining friends, awesome for potlucks too. The low and slow simmering on the stove [ or even in the oven]really brings out succulent pieces of beef , tender nicely cooked soft vegetables , herbs with a boldly rounded flavorful rich brown sauce.
    This is a perfect recipe/ dish for any day of the week, just prep , sear and start the dish, then sit back back while it simmers away and warms up the kitchen. You can use any vegetables you prefer its adaptable too.
    You can make this dish in a big batch as it stores very well and definitely even better the following day, you can freeze it in your freezer containers . for me i use ziploc bags, lay them flat in the freezer and i have a dish i can pull out the night before or even defrost in the microwave.
