Great tips, static gear change with walk mode and something as simple as hooking under the saddle to lift the bike!🤦🏼♂️ seems obvious but I didn’t think of it!🤤👍🏻
I use the power of the walk mode to get my bike into the wheelbarrow position, also great for a 180 degree change of direction on a singletrack. Thanks for all the tips I have learned alot from this channel !
I have a Magicycle (earlier version I bought Jan 2022) which weighs 75 pounds or so and a lot of your tricks won't work on it. But it came with a twist throttle which I modified by adding a piece of metal taped on to convert into a thumb throttle. I find this is easier to control than walk mode because I can 'milk' the low speed when going up steep hills or over rocky places. Of course with that heavy of bike, and with fat tires, I use it more in the desert in SE Utah than in mountains. Though I go over to Dolores CO in summer and ride Boggy Draw trails (e-bikes frowned on there) and roads; or closer to Cortez CO. Here where I live a premier place to ride is Valley of Gods or down Comb Wash to River House ruin and back. Lots of sand or gravel, but fat tires do well. And I generally stop about half way and turn bike off which magically "recharges" battery; actually I think separate cells inside battery switch on to make it appear so. So I'm getting about 21-23 miles total ride, with a low PAS setting. At my age that's plenty and I ride more on gravel or dirt roads than on bike trails in winter. And I don't have a dropper post but when I get to steep hills I just get off and walk, or go around somehow. So a lot of mountain bike tricks I see on RUclips are 'cute' and probably helpful for younger riders, but I'm not one of those. I have been mountain biking since late 70's and first three bikes were Specialized, including an obsolete Ultimate, which now looks a bit ridiculous but was my first bike with suspension.
In regards to bosh WALK MODE , im now refusing any further down loads from my MTB tech guy because i dont seem to be offer'd any list of choice's and walk mode seem to loose torque and speed making my day out more difficult & discouraging me from tech terrain. There's since been a download moderate improvement so im now a "Don't Touch" kinda customer. This brand of walk mode clearly needs more choice options for it's riders so i may choose where i go and not where Bosh say's i can't.
Wait so does work mode turn the crank by itself for you? Doesn't do it for my Levo, my guess is German/EU regulation only allowing pedal assist for Ebikes
What was the one tip or trick that revolutionised your experience with E-Biking? 🧐
Coil shock and smashpot coil fork conversion
Stop hitting trees.

Glad it was helpful Rob!
I use the wheelbarrow technique a lot. Makes it easier to go up stairs in walk mode.

Thanks for watching Chuck! Happy Christmas
Walk mode might be a bit harder on some bosh computers. You have to keep the + button pressed for it to work. Only found that out yesterday 🤣🤣
I love my Specilized Levo. Top E Bike!
Good stuff Chris! Happy Holidays all!
Same to you John!
0:54 Fix the limit screws, chain off cog.
Very handy thanks .👍
Great input. Merry Xmass
Thanks, you too!

Super useful.
Glad you think so, Max! Safe riding!
These are so helpful, thanks so much!
Glad you like them Canderson!
Great tips. Never thought of using walk mode for a static gear change before, nice. Not as nice as the berry coloured levo expert you're on, mind...
Glad it was helpful Loz! Yeah the Levo is a looker 😍
thanks Chris, really good tips, cheers

Use like 6th gear in walk mode 💪
I am surprised that the displays dont show the cadence sweet spot light or icon rather than a figure
wow, air hill climb, motor over-run; change gears in a coast. Sadly my ebike's walk mode stops very quickly if bike is not moving.
push another rider struggling a hill climb is a good tip 🤣
