I always thought about that too. I kept deranking from knife to skull rank many times. I eventually got the knife rank back and I made sure I wouldn't lose it again which I didn't.
@@iGotIceInMyRice420 you can but only by dying a bunch without gaining much progress. But for some people progress just straight up deleted

SVU feels like a wonder weapon compared to the AN94 when camping at Jugg. Headshots are one shots for so long.
With the sniper long shot perk you became unstoppable with the SVU.
All snipers should be one shot head shots like that for ages IMO. I’ll never understand why treyarch made snipers and shot guns so useless across the entire class when they also are terrible with points. For all the annoyances Cold War has I love that shotguns feel like shotguns, aka powerful up close, too OP if anything

Bo2 hid the Remington in very obscure corners in most maps. It’s almost like they didn’t want you using it. Kinda like the wall buy PM63 in Bo1.

Bro I feel you on that reset from Zombies. Alot of older games I play have been having bugs that I never came across back in the day, things like playing Assassins Creed 2 I got about 40% of the game done in one sitting just to come back the next day and it register that I had ZERO saves on the entire xbox when I should've had 2/3 slots occupied one from my run way back when and two from the new game I just started the day before. Never had any corruption issues with my 360 hard drive im guessing it has to do with devs either shutting down or massively restricting the bandwidth on old game servers which is understandable but with that and how current games are being shipped out "as a service" means were gonna be sitting on a massive pile of dead & unplayable content in a decade or two I imagine.

Regarding Mob of the Dead, I absolutely agree. I've been wanting to see that map remade for ages now. It was easily my favorite map in BO2.
I think it's got to do something about plutonium. I've had moments where my game wouldn't save, such as times where my classes in multiplayer reverted back to a previous version of them, my sound settings being very low every time I get into BO1, which is because I sometimes play podcasts while playing zombies and I guess they never reverted back to a previous version of the settings.
This has happened to me as well, definitely think it is Plutonium bug. Super annoying tbh.
@@srw2010 Nah used to happen on 360...I was permanently skull with crossbones. After me and crew would spend days trying to get over round 100 on buried and tranzit. (First was not too bad...tranzit was nigh impossible with four though.)
hey if you are wondering why the origins match didnt count in bo2 if you get 10,000 plus kills it doesnt count towards your profile you need to get 9999 kills each game and then end it. hope this helps keep up the good work

Yeah people primarily use the AN 94 because of it's ammo count, with that it essentially pays for itself as well as making insta kills really comfortable for the most part.
The ranks in zombies was always soo confusing. It went up and down for seemingly no reason

I never knew how the Zombies Ranks worked. I wonder what happens when you end games by quitting though; does ending the game count as a down, or could someone get to Max Rank by quitting before they get downed to raise their Round/Down ratio?
I've always had a weird feeling that ending games instead of bleeding out effects it, but never knew for certain. You could theoretically just play a bunch of games going to Round 15-20 and get them that way without much effort

My favorite map in bo2 has got to be origins. I just love the staves, specifically the fire staff. They just feel so great.

Id say starting Die Rise over and over again is pretty much the easiest way to get shotguns fast. Building the sliq and then camping in the shaft for some time is pretty much the fastest and easiest high round strat in bo2. Id assume that there aint any faster way to get this done

It definitely is the fastest and that's how I did it back in 2014 all the time. Just do round 80-100 a bunch of times and then sprinkle in some Buried for a little variety and maybe a MOTD game

Oh also, a tip for if you are ever planning on playing for high rounds on origins: if you dont have any quick revives left, get all perks back except for Stamin up / Speed cola. If the only two perks left in the wonderfizz are QR / Speed or QR / Stamin up, the chance to get QR back is actually 50/50 instead of 98/2
Can't really use Cherry sadly because it can cause crashes sorry. I would rather spend time on the Wunderfizz than a crash 😂

That problem you found which lost your progress is because of plutonium i had the same issue while playing mp trying to get to max prestige on my own and after prestige 4 my guns and levels where lost randomly
just to confirm aswell, i had blops 2 zombies in my library since 2014 and basiclly i never touched it but got up2 skull with knife, and only last year did i re install it and got it back up2 shotguns rank, so if u think its too late to rank up, ur wrong you can still do it ^^
it was supper easy getting the highest emblem in bo2 back then, there is a trick you can use which all you had to do was go to round 15ish (anywhere from 10-20) then quit the game and start another game. and if you get trapped by zombies at all or feel like you will go down, just quit out. i used to play town with mustang and sally + dsr packed and packed again until it gave the red dot scope/iron sights (whatever applied then) it easily carried into the higher rounds 40+

On origins if you have mule kick you can put one staff in the crazy place while having another staff in hand pull out the revive staff and pick up the other staff in crazy place and you can have 2 staffs
The reason the an94 was weak in your game is because you had absolutely terrible headshot accuracy and didn't have the double headshot damage persistent perk. If you have this and actually hit headshots you can safely and comfortably camp at Jug with the papped an94 till round 45
pro tip: go on burried get the paralyser and go on the tree glitch spot, you can get to every round, get like 300k in the bank and get easy shotgun and blue eyes
The thing about mob is you gotta play by double tap with the back door closed until 50+ or it takes forever

Favourite map for me has to be die rise, I know it's one of the most disliked by others, but even as a kid, I've always loved the setting and the special weapon has to be one of my favourite one, just shooting a single bullet and a hole wave pass it's still a good souvenir

Yeah I remember people saying that. I made an alternative account 1 week ago and I have a 1,400 k/d and no shotguns. Also i got a 120 k/d by playing motd and using traps to get to far rounds but I get less kills and got shotgun with low k/d.

Yeah I knew this trick. I would back out after round 20 with 0 downs on my original account. Had like 100 downs and 587,000 zombie kills.

We had Shotgun rank before but one of the updates to the client broke it for us and idk why, with the exception of one person, me and my buddies are all sitting on Knife rank and the one guy is stuck on Skull rank
Love the ranking system on BO2 play Tranzit public for a couple of weeks anyone will lose their shotguns gives me a reason to do a high rounds solo game.
Have grown to love Tranzit so much SOE and Tranzit were both my most hated and have become my most played.
As of right now, my favorite BO2 map has to be MOTD. I can pretty much do everything in that map now.
And speaking of TheRelaxingEnd, don't we all miss him...I mean, his most famous achievement in BO2 was Round 70 in TranZit

AN94 is good up to 37 only if you kill by headshot. The MMS can go on it with 3-4 pack a punch cycles which makes it 10x easier to go for headshots.

From my experience skull to skull knife progression is bugged, I remember trying to help my friend get to shotguns and he had the same issue, once you get off of skull knife though its smooth sailing
interesting how bo2 does seem broken. recently bought it for pc, played like 10 games total between town/mob/buried with minimal downs all rounds 30-55 and i still have the regular old skull, idk whats going on. i also had my game crash in a 2player on round 63 buried last night so none of that saved either, awesome
Man you were hip spraying to the chest that’s why you went down. I’ve survived round 39 using the AN as long as you only use headshots with double tap. It’s tough but doable
