Thanks for the advice. Honestly I'd love a fast toggle to disable virtual stock (hold front trigger?). I really can't play without virtual stock anymore but I miss the ability to blind fire/fire over cover
I just ordered my first VR headset, a quest 2, and plan on playing a lot of pavlov. It makes me more confident seeing that the first few tips are actually some stuff from shooting guns irl as i have a lot of experience with them and already have the proper habits
@@crackaoncrack1383 Thank you so much! Slowly grinding to keep improving all that, and its the support from everyone here that defintely helps a lot. Its very much appreciated :D
There's a vid from a guy named Chris Sajnog called 'Front Sight Focus - How To Instantly Shoot Like a Navy SEAL'. Look it up and watch till he shows the optical illusions and how they stop moving or dissapear when you focus completely on the front site. Would be cool if someone made a map with these patterns as backgrounds for front site focus practice.
Typically if youre aiming with both eyes open, your dominant eye will be the eye you focus on your sights with and thus the eye you acquire targets with easier. The other eye is just open for extra peripheral vision/fov. Ik people that are right handed but left eye dominant and will aim with their left eye/shoot lefty. Also thank you! Glad it helped :D
@@samuelh9581 I think you can try putting your gun to your left side. I have a couple teammates that are right handed but left eye dominant so I will ask them and hopefully get back soon!
@@samuelh9581 So from what I gathered centering the gun more towards the left eye might help, I do know one person that is righty but shoots lefty but that might be a lot of effort and relearning muscle memory. Hope this helps!
Thats the beauty of Pavlov, theres something for everyone. You dont have to learn the recoil patterns to a T to enjoy the casual gamemodes, but knowing they exist certainly helps since the transition from flatscreen to VR can be daunting at first.
Definitely true! Its why I advocate experimenting with it and learning how to aim down the irons so you get the feel of it. Controllers also affect how the weapons line up too.
I'm trying to find help with a glitch, when i accidentally drop my gun/mag/knife I can't pick it back up because my hand can't go through my real floor and I'm just out of reach of the gun. is there any way to fix this?
Its a hit or miss for some people. Most people that I know that dont use vstock dont really use snipers much. There are always exceptions, but being steady is definitely more important with them.
Hey @YellowHat ? I want to know if the test map works of oculus quest 2 on Pavlov Shack because I thought it would help me A.get better at the game and B. Help my aim and skills at the game when my friends aren’t online.
You should say that the arm kill feed doesn’t work for all game modes. For example, I don’t think the hidden has a kill feed. Might be a shack thing but I want to verify that.
Hi, I have a confusion about push to talk. Will I leave the Pavlov settings as they are (Mute off in Audio settings)? Will the game notice I assigned a button and stop voice activation automatically? Or do I have to set mute in the settings and it unmutes with button press?
Does the Push To Talk work yet for Oculus? When I did the tutorial they had me put my left hand over my mouth and press the trigger for Comms.. just curious if that has been updated? I'm on Oculus Rift 2 -- hit me up :p P.S. Shotguns on this game are hellllllla fun.
I've found that with auto sprint my character does not sprint when wanting it to. When I am over the deal about not being able to sprint and being spawn killed it makes me sprint for 2 seconds and then when I lower my gun again it won't work. Please help me out because I don't understand.
you can use the explained method of setting up push to talk for oculus you just have to launch Pavlov in steam VR mode instead of oculus mode and then trigger the push to talk at least once in a game for Pavlov to register that it is enabled.
Hello. Help please to solve a problem : I can't open a buy menu. Right stick pressing or anything else give me nothing. Probably there is a button combination or spetial settings? Thanks in advance
Can’t get to the menu in tha way you say, holding the scoreboard button (oculus quest 2 is Y) and the Pulling the trigger of your non d hand, what do u mean non dominant?
If youre playing shack its the left oculus button, if not its b+trigger is what Im told (I dont have shack but have friends that do so I just asked for you). Hope this helps!
I havent forgotten about them! Ill be working on them a bunch at the start of the new year as admittedly Ive only got the ak47 and m4 and pistols up for the modern weapons.
Hey can you help me out ? For a few weeks I’ve had a bug that made it that my moving joystick is the right one which is ok but like I really prefer it being on the left one. So I try to change it but it doesn’t work. Please help me
Is going from airsoft to VR hard or simple? I've been airsofting for like 2/3 years and want to get a headset soon. Edit: also whats the best headset that's not STUPIDLY expensive
From Airsoft to VR honestly transfers over pretty well. You wont have the weight of the gun to steady the aim, but pavlovs virtual stock option does a very good job at replicating that feeling. I highly recommend setting it on when you get the game. Best headset is debatable. I personally have the index and I think its the best performing headset on the market right now, even though the Q2 has better resolution. Oculus rift s is pretty outdated and doesnt have much support going for it anymore from oculus. Honestly, even though its $1000, Id recommend the index. HTC is way too expensive and doesnt perform as well as the index. Its hard, PCVR is expensive to get in and most of the cheap stuff is outdated and out of support these days, or its stupidly expensive (like $1200 and up)
I just got this game I’m pretty good but their is always that one guy in the lobby who is just going ultra try like the shit is a esports tournament and I swear some people gotta be hacking

Do you know if you have to buy a vest and helmet each time you die or does it respawn
TDM it respawns, in SND you need to rebuy it if you die.
On the quest 2 is also a push too talk feature for this game you just have to move your hand to your ear and press the trigger button kinda cool
same for all other HMDs
cool until you blow your brains out in shooters like pavlov

How does left or right dominant eye affect the way you aim? Great video by the way.
