Thank you for the video. I recently got one of these less than a year ago. Today leaving the court house (it has driven fine btw, staying below 40C on 90F+ days) my coolant temperature light turned on and engine shutoff to prevent overheat message. I nursed it back on the radiator fan, checked the oil, no coolant in the oil (good). Ran to Autozone and went to fill her up with Euro 50/50 pre-mix and I heard it cycle through the entire system and then dump out on the ground, the hell? So now I gotta lift it up cause I can't see where it's actually coming from. This video though is insightful regardless, so thank you again for sharing.
Cordial saludo me pasó lo mismo, estaba regandose el coolant por las estrías de la grieta, pero veo que un cable del que no va directo a radiador sino el otro, se fracturó en la boquilla es fácil reemplazar?
Gracias! Segui el mismo tutorial y me funciono, tenia el mismo problema, pero ahora la manguera del recuperador, que va conectada al motor ( La que va conectada al radiador no, la otra ) se rompio, sabes cual es la pieza que recibe esta manguera? Y como cambiarla? Gracias!
Muchas gracias amigo, gracias por el apoyo ✌🏻👍🏻 pues si no lo has cambiado nunca el coolant te recomiendo que lo hagas, ahora si el carro todavía no a corrido mas de 30k millas no es necesario cambiarlo. honestamente es opcional
Thank you bro for your support, CLA 250 have 5 radiator hose in total, 2 hose are connected to coolant reservoir on the passenger side for those you can use a flat screw driver, and the other 3 hoses you can use a plier for those clamps on passenger and the other two are in the driver side. now if you have the CLA 45 you may have to remove the engine support to be able to change the coolant hose!! Which hose do you want to replace ?

Gracias amigo, bueno hay dos hose, ''la upper hose y la lower hose'' van del radiador a el motor y hay otra overflow esta va de el radiador a el tanque de refrigerante y se conecta a el motor cual de estas es la que necesitas reemplazar amigo?
Gracias por el video, me sirvió de mucho solo que se me rompió el conector qué va del tanque al motor, el que se encuentra debajo del soporte del motor, sabe como se llama o cual es el número de parte?

Saludos brother, esa manga creo que es de 1/2 pulgada se llama “ Bleed Line - Mercedes-Benz numeración de la manga junto con el conector (246-501-03-25) ahora si solo quieres el conector se conoce como “coolant hose quick connector” lo puedes conseguir directamente desde la agencia Mercedes o en cualquier auto part !
If you can see under the coolant reservoir there is a bolt that is from the engine support that touches the reservoir and the vibrations of the road can cause a crack on the coolant reservoir so you will lost all the coolant. Do you have a problem with over heating ?
Así mismo me pasó a mi... el tornillo credo una grieta en la parte de abajo del tanque... El cablesito del sensor se me cayó una pieza blanca que tenía entre medio. No sé si es importante pero el carro parece funciona bién
Si bro se les pasó a estos ingenieros colocar el tanque justo allí, pero puedes colocar un tape para prevenir que vuelva a suceder y sobre el sensor creo esa parte es para sujetar el sensor pero si dices que está todo trabajando bien no hay de que preocuparse!

I had to change the sump tank twice. Why does this happen? Is there a connection with the thermostats?

Hey bro, I'm using 5w-40 full synthetic from Mobil. I change it twice a year or every 5,000 miles maximum.
Why don’t you put the old coolant in again ?
That's not an old coolant, I had to refill it every day until I got the new reservoir tank !
What coolant do you use for your cla 250
I use the 50/50 Blue Peak OET, but you can choose anyone, just make sure they are for European cars only
