Thanks for making the time to show and teach this solo content the way you are. At the very least, you are showing everyone your capacity to illustrate care and concern, not to mention a source of hope in an educational setting. Great job!

The phrasing in bar 12 keeps tripping me up! I've resorted to reducing the video speed to 50% and try to play the thing dead slow and build up the speed gradually. Great solo - you nailed it perfectly.
StephLeGratteux Whatever you’re doing works great! I’ve never learnt economy picking. Thanks so much for the backing tracks and tabs for all these solos, it is such a big help for learning Adrian’s solos. Really appreciate it mate!
@@parkesy82 Actually I learnt guitar by myself and economy picking came is what came naturally to play fast runs :D But it's a bit annoying because some other fast stuff sound better with alternate picking and so I can't play them correctly
StephLeGratteux I guess they’ve each got their pros and cons. I’m self taught too so when I was younger I thought the only way to go faster is alternate picking so that’s the habit I’m stuck in, and now realize it would be so much better to be able to economy pick some things!

I'm 59 yo and have been a Maiden fan since I was 16. I am revisiting all these songs and learning the solos thanks to you Steph. Keep it up!!

I love watching how relaxed your pick hand is during this! Are you economy picking some of those fast runs or strict alternate picking?
I'm not very good at alternate picking so I mostly use economy picking
