  • Follow me while I graduate 🙊😄 this was the delayed graduation for the class of 2020 and 2021, of the CSUN collages Mike Curb College of Arts, Media, & Communication, David Nazarian College of Business & Economics, College of Humanities and College of Health and Human Developmen.
Shout out to the guy at 5:56 and the girl at 6:41 for the great photobombing 😅😂👏
Best Cap Awards goes to 😂 7:40
BRING (my suggestions, BUT CHECK WHAT THEY ALLOW YOU TO BRING
): Bag or “pouch bag”, sun screen, WATER, video camera (my phone got overheated after all the recording), (makeup if you want to do touch ups), possibly small snack
    Advice for graduates:
Bring a bag for stuff, you’ll get a graduation book and your graduation card and you could probably need more like water, sunglasses etc
Don’t rush on stage! Take a few extra seconds to look into the audience and for the graduation video recording
BRING WATER (if they allow you) you will be there for hours
ASK EACH OTHER (other graduates) TO TAKE PICTURES OF EACH OTHER IN FRONT OF THE STAGE trust me you all want pictures and you will be disappointed if you don’t (me and the two girls in front and behind me took pictures of each other, I’m so happy we did)
If you are wearing heels, wear THICK heels, you will be walking on a lot of grass, stiletto heels are NOT worth the struggle!
Bring a guest that’s good with reciting or taking pictures during the ceremony! My dad is not good or comfortable with a camera and even if he tried to record me walking on stage it was unusable and you couldn’t see anything (he tried though ❤️)
The seating for the guest is “first come first served” so come early if this is important for you
If you, like me, missed the deadline for ordering your cap and gown, they do have extras so come as soon as you can to pick them up!
The order in which you go up on stage are not pre-planned so you can sit with your friends if you are in the same college (you get a card with your name and info on it, they collect it right before you go on stage and that’s how they know what name to read/announce)
You get a certain amount of tickets for you family BUT a lot of people sell their extra tickets if they are not going to use them, (tbh I’m not sure if you are allowed to sell them, but if you are not using you tickets you can give them to other people that might need/want them 👍)
    Hope this helped 😊
Comment if you have any more questions 😄👇
Thank you to all the graduates and guests that helped me take pictures and taught me things about American graduations! I’m so thankful to you all! Especially to the mom who helped us take a picture of me and my dad ❤️ thank you! (Since I only had one family member there it meant the world to me to have a memory of it!)
ASK EACH OTHER FOR HELP WITH TAKING PICTURES 😂😊👏✊💪 trust me you will regret if you don’t later

Thanks for vlogging this!!! I graduate in this May, so I've gathered a few tips from this video! (:
Did you have family members attend? I have a big family and requested extra tickets, but I'm unsure if I'll be able to get some!

      Congratulations 😄🎉
Only my dad attended sadly, I think you will get a hold of some extra tickets! Go to the Facebook groups! And if you know international students like myself there’s a big chance we can’t bring or have our families here so ask them if they have tickets they won’t be using 😊
If you have any more questions please ask here! Even if I don’t know the answer there might be someone else that watch this video that have the answer 😊💪

What type of heels do you recommend?

    • @klaragadd8660
      @klaragadd8660  Год назад

Definitely the THICKER heels the better, also heels that really support your ankles and are very “secured” on your foot, and something you are very comfortable walking in (maybe lower heels if you are not used to high ones). Walking on grass can be a little uncomfortable and tricky, focus the weight more on the ball of the foot.
      Hope that helped 😊

    How long was graduation?

The whole official graduation time for all colleges was 3 hours (8am-11am), but I was there at 07.15 am just in case. If you are in one of the colleges that were placed first you could probably leave after 9am ish (I got walked the stage and got my diploma around 9.37) 😊 🎓🎉 hope that helps!

Congrats! 😊🎉 Hope you're having a good time! The first semester is usually stressful because all of the new things, you will settle in but the academics do get more demanding so build a good study routine and take advantage of the schools resources 😊

@@sabrihashaheed5782 Great! 😊 I would recommend the free tutoring (trust me at some point you will need it) and they have tutoring in basically every subject!
And the free events can be fun too 😊
College and University is basically how YOU make it 😊 if you want to make it a social experience you can, if you only want to make connections and a career you can, and if you just want to study and leave you can 😅 or if you want to combine them you can! But it's up to you what you choose to do! That's something I had in mind when I started 😊 I really wish you have your dream college experience! ❤🖤

About 4 hours, but like I said in the video people who got to walk the stage earlier also left earlier 😊 I guess it depend which college you are in (or the college line up)
