Though they are in less than desirable condition, I obtained that Amazing Stories edition and Spiderman #1 when I was 12 years old.
I'm 70 today and I still have them both.

I'm crying. He was an amazing man. An inspiration. I made a presentation on him in class in October last year and he died one month after. I was... destroyed. But seeing records of him like this one give me hope and relief to know I can continue to hear and see this super hero. He's what I want to be, someone happy and good with a beautiful soul and an endless imagination

He may have written all of these amazing comic books about all our favorite superheroes, but in reality, he was the best superhero that we ever had
Stan Lee is such a legend, he might not be with us physically anymore, but he will be in our hearts for decades to come. We will never forget you Stan Lee, we miss you
The saddest thing is that this only has 200K views. This is the most motivational speech out there and everyone should listen to it. I come back here to listen to stan once a while whenever i feel lost and lose confidence in my drawing skills, and this always gets me back. Thanks stan :)

The whole thing is great, but that alone speaks volumes. It's so vulnerable, disarming and welcoming. Puts the audience in exactly the right position to hear a good speech (or anecdote, as they say). Beautifully considerate.

I was at this graduation and somehow forgot about this amazing speech. It popped up today at seemingly the right moment, been feeling unmotivated for a long time and hopefully this kickstarts things in the right direction.
I spent quite a lot of time writing a 25-page speech that I can give you. And as I looked at it I said, would I wanna hear the speech? So I tore it up. So I stand here now defenceless with nothing except to tell you: If you have an idea that you genuinely think it’s good. Don’t let some idiot talk you out of it. That doesn’t mean that every wild notion you come up with is gonna be genius. But if there is something that you feel is good, something you want to do, something that means something to you, try to do it because you can only do your best work if you are doing what you want to do. And if you are doing it the way you think it should be done, and if you can take pride in it after you’ve done it, no matter what it is, you are gonna look at it and say: I did it. I think it’s pretty damn good. That’s a great feeling. I wanna wish all of you the best luck in the world. Just do your thing. Whatever you do, give it your best shot. You’ll be glad you did it.
