This is great! Thank you Marek! Tatzu’s debut is some of the freshest beat-music I’ve heard in a minute, def can hear the flylo/brainfeeder influence and the footwork sensibilities. If Low End Theory was still poppin’, no doubt he’d be playing there! Starting with textures first, is such a clutch way to end up at a place all your own before you’ve even laid down your first instrument.
That was dope! Tatz is such a nice dude! Love the experimental stuff, he’s really found his sound quickly (thanks to koala!)… looking forward to the double drop coming soon (I hope!) … big up koala gang!
Man said it right away. I couldn’t stress this more. My intro was literally a 303 (r after donut’s came out I saved up and got it). Limitations are amazing. They’re good for you.
Soooo interesting. I could listen to this guy all day. And the way he talks with his hands, like he's using an Air-pad with a virtual app. Magic. Inspirational Guru. Thanks.
I haven’t seen anyone else show their full workflow since I got into koala mad long ago but it looks like we in very similar places. I guess this confirms I’m not totally screwing it up lol jk dope sound man. Love the bounce n the off time kick n open hh.
Would be so great if there would be a really fast sequencer option, where you press on a sample and then can press on one of the 16(64) samples to set a note, like 606, Volca Sample, etc. would be little faster and intuitive, good Interview btw
Thanks for this masterclass! Can you guys suggest to marek to add an option to select all pads in the sample section so i don't have to turn down the volume of each pad individually? Just like the Undo button in the sample section, if I cut, in the auto-chop a sample on 16 pads and want to go back, I can't and I have to start all over again. I appreciate that. This app is incredilbe, i already have the samurai upgrade.
Y'all need to upgrade the keyboard and add scales. What good is using a sample on it if I cant pick a particular key? It only has major and minor lol kinda useless
@@allieboy181 you can just change the pitch knob of the sample! That will change the key. I could put a second pitch knob by the keyboard but that would be duplicating functionality and I would have to make the keyboard even smaller than it already is to accommodate
@@elfaudio well what I usually do for a bass sample is i have to duplicate it many times and change the pitch on all of them to the correct notes in the scale I'm working in. That's a pain.
It doesn’t add any more latency than the OS, it sends the audio out as fast as the OS can receive it. Usually in buffers of 96 or 256 samples. The OS will add some latency due to hardware and scheduling. iOS will take around 9ms. On android it varies massively.
wow. This is cool! Big up Marek. Big up Tatzumakiii.
love from Per Locus.
This was exactly what I needed to hear. We need more people like him to give their story. This was really encouraging.
Yes Marek. keep up the good work man.

There’s a new weekly in La, called Scenario808 hosted by some of the same residents as Low End. Hopefully we’ll be seeing a Tatzu set there soon!
Also, would be cool to get Remi from Koala Beatcast on!
Fantastic. TatzumaKiii is inspiring and so generous. 🙏 🔥
Love Tatzumakii's beats. Glad to see a masterclass from him.
Super inspiring interview. 🔥🔥🔥
Thanks for the EQ and looper, chance and keyboard features, the Basic sounds and sample library functionality.

TatzumaKii a 🐐 Inspiring af big homie
Dope my guy is so talented
💜
Dope that the drum loop isn’t perfectly looped, adding a unique rhythm to the beat but still not sounding off when all the other elements are added
Dude is killing it !
Very very cool interview
Dope video.
Noice! Big shouts to Tatz and Marek on this one!😎

Thanks for the tip on the Chinese balls. I have one sitting here and almost got rid of them. Time to test it out. Great stuff!

How does he get everything in key?
Koala can you please upgrade your stem separation quality

Koala can you please upgrade your stem separation quality !!!!
Better than akai MPC stem separation? DONE!
@@elfaudio wow that be fantastic 💯🔥😜
@@AshleyPrinceWashington idk if you heard, but akai's stem separation on the mpc is definitely, defintely not as good as koala. (as in non-existent)
Y'all need to upgrade the keyboard and add scales. What good is using a sample on it if I cant pick a particular key? It only has major and minor lol kinda useless
From day 1 koala has 10 scales. Major, minor, pentatonic, chromatic, whole tone, diminished etc. can’t think of any scales I missed.
@@elfaudio I guess what I mean is,
If I set the keyboard to the major scale how do I play in a particular key when there's no key to select from?
@@allieboy181 you can just change the pitch knob of the sample! That will change the key. I could put a second pitch knob by the keyboard but that would be duplicating functionality and I would have to make the keyboard even smaller than it already is to accommodate
