    dope vid and track is a vibe!
    Question - why do you resample the group w/ out effect, then add effects to the resampled audio and then pitch it back to the -4 original?
    wouldnt it be better to just be better to keep the effects all on the group directly and avoid pitching?

    Not very clear why you resampled and how you do that…exported the group as audio and reloaded it? Thanks as always very good food for thoughts here

    • @SHWETAGUPTA-xy2jb
      @SHWETAGUPTA-xy2jb Год назад

      He did that in order to basically save time. I mean instead of loading the same effects to individual tracks he just routed all the clips to one group and then resampled from group. And to achieve that old vibe he transposed the whole track 4 semitones down. Instead of going to each and transposing them.

    I find it so sad how commercialized and soulless lo-fi hip hop and now synthwave have become.
    What were once creative and quirky movements in underground music production are now revenue-generating meaningless pieces of ambience being churned out as if there's some kind of machine producing it. Faceless artists, a faceless scene, with a faceless objective. Just music for the sake of music. This attitude is why AI generated "music" will eventually take over.
    I mean, if you want some background music while you study or wash dishes, that's obviously no problem. But I just find it sad how these genres in particular have been reduced to that status. Entire scenes of producers now working to effectively create "nothing music", sometimes solely for the reason that it's easy to get attention from (compared to other styles). Reminds me of what happened to bossa nova once Americans got ahold of it :/
    No hate to the creator of this video btw. This is a great tutorial and the end result is pretty accurate to what was intended.

      @skatealex1 Год назад +1

      Agreed. Nothing against this video (nice stuff here) but I think things like Lofi Girl aren't good for the quality of the genres they get involved in.
