In this Instruction, our hero Keenan Cornelius Delves deep into his own mind and salvages every possible bit of information he has ever discovered about the triangle choke, and proceeds to word vomit it out to a live studio audience. Even If you can only add 5 of the 37 key details to the IMMACULATE TRIANGLE you will see a greatly increased performance in your trigonometrical chokes.
I tried this. It works perfectly. Only problem is that by the time i get to step 7 the bell rings.
now show us how to dispose of the body
HAHAHA!
Keenan does such a great job explaining things methodically and clarifying the reasoning behind details. Really superb.
Best triangle instructional ever. Thank you Keenan! Oss.
I dunno. I think I prefer the other tutorials: "Look, right here, see where foot goes? Now back, cross over, lock it up, pull tight, boom. See how easy that is?"
Worth noting that this is the most perfect triangle possible but if you want to finish someone with a triangle there are many triangle variations and the one that works is always the best one so don't lose you eye on the ball and get mixed up thinking about getting all those details and lose the submission. Great video! I learn Gracie Ju Jitsu and that is 99.9% the perfect triangle that was taught to me. I liked that i still learned from this video not so much about technique as much as the purpose of each detail.
Sick bro. I like that over hook. So many subs just from that one position alone, and KNOW I know how to hit a triangle from there. My coach isn't going to see it coming! My New Year's goal will be met much sooner than expected!
Gold Dee if your coach doesn't see this coming, you need a new coach ; )
Daniel Reynolds hahahha.
Yoga forBJJ rashguard, nice! Love that channel!
Keenan is the boss,he just choked Lionel Messy lol
Nevermind Keenan got it, keep my knee up. Thanks
The 9 dislikes are from people who were triangled like this
Your dojo is very small
The Physicality Channel best comment ever
Thanks ;)
haha its his film room in his huge gym. So no other distractions for the video series.
@@subradiant_music Ohhhhhhh. I thought he was serious, not hilarious. Thanks.
Tried it rolling today. Worked like a charm even though I did it badly. Mind you we're both white belts. But dude was quite surprised.
Great instruction and detail 👍
1.5 setup for triangle. This is a simple triangle and works great.
Really great details. Thanks keenan
Keenan, can you please add many no gi videos on your webiste too? I don't expect you have as many nogi videos as Marcelo Does but it's too little at the moment :(
Your vids are fantastic!
Subscribed. :-)
Tea, for triangle choke.
The look on the dude with the black gi face @ 11:30...hes like "why? I thought you loved me"
Everytime I get the leg over I struggle to hold the head down and pushing the hands to the other side haha
I usually do this from wrist control defending double collar hold. Two fairly smooth moves, punch one arm down as you pull the other. Position legs and use dominate hand to underhook the leg rotating the hips to seal the triangle
But I’m sure he’s competing at a much higher skill level 😅
Only 37 steps. Look, it's too simple for me. For me a move is not worth learning if it's less than 50 steps. :)
Peter James 😂😂
Nice to see Messi getting into BJJ
Keenan, can you post some nice leglock-videos and nogi?
Dear Keenan. I want to start BJJ. I am not that young :-) I am lost with all the techniques and I don't know from where to start. Is there any curriculum to guide me ? For examples: What are the minimum required techniques and on which order I need to follow to move from white to blue belt, .....I need a kind of reference or path to follow. Does such curiculum exist, like for other martial arts (judo, karaté, ....). Please help me on this.
check "Roy Dean blue belt Requirements 2.0"
@@W1LDtracer thanks
What about the triangle you showed where you cut the 90 degree angle but with the leg that's against his neck you kick forward and pull down with the opposite leg that's figure foring?
Nice! Miha too! Also taxation is theft
I only counted 21 steps
I've the brown belt in Yoga for BJJ videos. What's his name?
Follow it to a t , but i know the secret 38th step
I’ll try this method but I’m skeptical about that moment you release the overhook (5:28 in the video). Opponent is bound to posture up successfully before I can sink the triangle, no?
I think that depends on who wins the hand battle in that part of the move. Infact youd have to win a lot of mini battles along the way to hit that thing. But thats what Keenan does. He wins all those .
Sean J you're not sinking in the triangle at that point you are grabbing your ankle to keep the posture broken. In fact, by just grabbing your ankle in that position and keeping your knees together you can hang out for a while during the time you adjust because its such a good control position. Hit this same triangle on a guy that outweighs me by 30 lbs yesterday in training.
That's why your tilted on your side and the leg over his whole vack prevents him from posturing up. He States this in the beginning.
Listen to the details at 6:28 he talks specifically about opponent trying to posture and why it is important too keep your knees pointing up and arm is replacing the leg to keep posture broken. Slow is smooth smooth is fast.
How do you prevent them from turning the corner?
Wrist should be grabbed thumb down, greetings from the evil lord of the blue basement ^^
❤️❤️❤️
I would like to roll with the 9 people that disliked this video.
Old Asian wisdom, "too much is worse than too little". Who's gonna follow 37 steps?
It's a sure nonsense.
1st!
this guy talks too much
I only counted 34 steps
