- The first of some Minecraft showcase type videos that I plan to upload over time... this is probably my favourite build I have done to date. This is the Abbey Church of St Mary at Buckfast Abbey in Devon. The build took me approximately eight hours in total to do. I've yet to build the monastic buildings. I've followed original architectural plans as far as I can (it's Minecraft, so some liberties need to be taken), and I am really pleased with how it has turned out.
Stay tuned for more Minecraft build videos. I'll be releasing them every other Thursday.
Music: Beata Viscera (Perotin), sung by the Concert Spirituel Ensemble, Hervé Niquet.
wow!
Thank you!
Very beautiful!! Well done
Thank you very much! Still the monastic buildings to come yet too.
Wow.. just wow!!
Thank you! I am really quite proud of it.
Make sure to add Sweet hosanna! The bourdon inside!
@@ZZOOMGVRP I have a sound pack for the note blocks that turn the basic note block sounds into bells - what's to say I haven't already put a Hosanna inside the tower? ;^)
I knew about your Exeter sound pack but didn’t realise you added buckfast abbey’s
Hey, nice build! Id love to build this as a spawn in my World, is it possible to download the Map?
Thank you. I'm really quite proud of it. I've been working on the monastic buildings since, and I ended up building the Tudor Gothic mansion that was incorporated as well.
I probably won't do a download of it for a while but I might at some point. Also, Thursday's Minecraft video might be of interest as well...
How many miner hours did that take to create? It looks like months of work.
I spent about 8 hours or so building it in total, over about three days.
@@RingerJake Wow you are a super speed-builder, took me 2 months to build a cathedral, only slightly larger than that. Well done!
Something different?!😊 Thank you from a non Minecraft person ... (No reason. Just didn't get into it.)
Yep! I've been playing MInecraft for quite a long time now, and worked on the same world since April 2013. It's basically an entire country now...!
And that's totally fair enough. It's not for everyone.
@@RingerJake The inside is absolutely spectacular!
