    That's right! Your wife is not very happy about the big punch bag in the living room! Glad at least you are using it after day 1 though 🤣

    Hello from Canada! Thanks for posting this! We currently have an Everlast hanging bag and have been thinking of replacing it with a freestanding bag because we are moving our home gym into the garage. Our hanging a bag doesn't seem to be such a great option anymore because we need it to move into the middle of the garage and then tuck it away into a corner. I saw this at Costco and wondered how it holds up. I think we will give this a shot! Thanks again!

      No problem at all, been using it about a week now and really enjoying it. I have seen a few half price used on ebay/Facebook so may be worth considering but its so cheap from Costco anyhow, I went with that to save any damage that may not be visible from previous owner use.

    Cheers for this post MK, I have now purchased one of these bad boys and it works a treat. I think you do need to think about where you are putting it and what on, we have a wooden floor and I have it on a rug to stop it from scratching the floor, however it tends to move when you go to town on it, but i have remedied this with getting a water proof patio heater cover for it and shifting it out in the garden, now no movement and no scratched floors... win win!

      Haha, loving the engineering of the patio cover. Glad its working out for you Simon 😎

    I just bought one and feels great for some light and mid-intensive training. Obviously not for hitting it like if it was someone you hate. Fill it with sand for more stability.

      Nice one. Yeah I have been really enjoying it to. Defo sand especially for indoors.
      Agreed if you are training to kill, maybe something more solid 😂

    The bag section can be moved up another foot if you use the settings, twist, lift, reset…

    Hey! Love your videos. I was wondering if the heavy bag in this video is still in solid condition? Just wondering to get a feel for the long term usability of this bag. Thanks!

      Heya, thank you for watching 🙏🏻
      Yes the bag is still going strong no problems. Only thing I would have liked is for it to have been a tiny bit taller as I'm 6ft and I find im not punching at head height but quality wise it is still good.
      Hope that helps.

    Hi Marlon,
    How much sand KG did you put in the boxing stand? Got this the other and not sure how much sand I should get.
    Thanks

    • @MarlonKingShow
      @MarlonKingShow  2 года назад

      Heya, I used 2 bags of sand which I'm guessing were around 20-25kg a bag. It still moves a bit, but I have it on carpet. I believe 3-4 bags would stop it moving at all if that is what you want. I prefer the little bit of movement. Let me know how you get on.

    I'd be worried I'd hit it and it would fall over. I've always found these stand alone things are too easy to knock over.

    • @MarlonKingShow
      @MarlonKingShow  2 года назад +1

      I had the same worry, but with this one, because the top opens fully, you can put as much sand as you like. I put two bags but you could put in 5 I believe.
      That said, I would not plan to use this for super hard going on a daily due to the plastic construction. So far has held up well.

      @@MarlonKingShow yes I think I'm better off hanging the one I've got but that has its own challenges.

    hello ! i would like to buy this bag but i have some questions.
    Im 6.2 ( 190cm) and the bag only goes to 5.5. Do you think im to tall for this bag, should i Buy an another one ?

    • @MarlonKingShow
      @MarlonKingShow  2 года назад

      Heya, you might be too tall, this is perfect for some light work but I'm not sure how well it would hold out on the highest setting. I have it on one of the lower ones and I'm having to punch at shoulder height. I'm 6ft.
      That said this bag is one of the best value for money and a great starter bag but if you want to practise head punches or kicks then its a no go, its more punching chest height, but great for a physical workout.
