    I went through chemotherapy about 6 months ago. My hormones were off. The high omega 3 low sugar/carb helped tremendously. Combined with right amount of sleep and low stress.my libido is back to normal. The foods that really helped me alot are
    1. Watermelon
    2. Raw ginger
    3. beets
    4. Raw garlic
    5. Raw coconut oil
    6. Brazil nuts
    7. Kale
    8.fresh lemons (juiced with ginger and raw honey)
    9. Pasture raised eggs.
    10. Celery.

      @@spikem6039 Thank you! I responded really well to treatment and am currently in remission. My doctor said i have a 91% chance of it not returning. Now i got to do my part by eating a clean diet. Determined to stay healthy.

    If anyone cannot afford saffron just ask me it. Saffron is not that much expensive in my country. I grow Saffron in my field and we produce the world best saffron here in Herat- Afghanistan.

    There should be a mass social awareness and movement to demand that anything that interferes with our hormones should be removed, from both foods and water supply. Think for a minute how that impacts pregnant women and unborn children developing in the womb and babies and young children, teenagers that are also still developing. Too much stuff we take for granted is messing with our hormones and it is causing all kinds of havoc on babies, kids, teens, adults health and mental well being

    several years ago I read that NAC could positively affect mood.
    i began using 3 capsules per day. My stamina for working went way up , and my libido followed.
    this was the most positive response that I have ever had from a supplement.
    I dont know if this happens to women also.

    All these advices are for people no older than 50! My libido was excellent even without beets, oysters and maca! All that changed overnight after 50 and aphrodisiac food is useless! Would be nice to hear what to do if libido is gone due to hormonal changes at this vulnerable age! Thank you!

    Dr. Berg, for a lot of people your advise will help to improve low libido but if this doesn't, I myself used wheatgerm-oil that's very high in vitamine E. Just a teaspoon a day together with a tablespoon of olive-oil when I break my fast, worked within a week both in... drive and every morning!!! I'm a 49 year old Healthcoach from Holland. Greets.

    Fasting also lowers libido. From my personal experience. When I fast for 2-3 months 19hrs a day it goes down. When I eat back 2-3 meals a day agan it comes back

    I did a lil study on pistachio and it revealed it is not good for men similar to Flax. Doc can you explain further on pistachio?

    when he says beets, aussies know these as beetroot. they often come sliced, and canned, with some sort of preserving liquid. i think the aussie version may have higher amounts of sugar. just a guess.

    I don’t think testosterone is the main source to a higher libido for everyone. When i was pregnant im pretty sure i wanted it WAY MORE than my husband. And i cried when he fell asleep bc i didn’t think he loved me enough bc he didn’t stay up for me. My testosterone levels were not any higher than normal but my progesterone levels were off the roof. I think we live in a world where estrogen has become so dominant in female and male. In a lot of women estrogen overrides a woman’s progesterone levels. As to why a lot of women lose interest. Women weren’t meant to live off higher testosterone. Yet some women want it more than men. It makes no sense to claim only testosterone is the main source of libido 🤷🏻‍♀️ Not that i don’t agree with increasing testosterone in men and women will increase libido.

      Yea, no kidding. I have the Testosterone pellets and they aren't really doing much. When I was younger and was on birth control (or pregnant) it would increase my libido. I am betting it is either the estrogen or the progesterone in the birth control that helped me back then and what I actually need right now.

    Raised in the western country, but my parents are from Pakistan.
    For a long time there was one particular food I never ate, as it would never fill me up.
    So I hardly ever ate it.
    Until recently I discovered that this food is a super food and in fact much better than any pills to get a super hard on.
    You see in Pakistan the average or upper class family would have traditionally feast of Biryani Rice and Saag (spinach).
    I always loved my spinach from the beginning and we know that this super food produces folic acid which is good for fertility.
    But the super food that I am talking about is Rice. If I had plate full of rice. 30 minutes later I would get so hungry again, it was like I didn't have meal half an hour earlier.
    That's why I avoided it.
    But in my mid forties when the ED started showing. I looked at all the natural diet food options.
    And it's only when you have problems when start to notice which food is better and which food is not better for me.
    Most of the recommendations on the Internet are relatively more or less the same.
    But I bumped into rice by chance/accident. I suddenly realised that every time I ate rice, I was on super power mode.
    And Pakistan who has one if the high fertility rates have got it right from beginning.
    Rice with Spinach 😉

    Guys for High libido consume regulary fats protein and carbs ( slow index ). Its not necesary to take this tipe of foods, its ok to eat what You want to have d3 zinc magnesioum cooper And all b complex.

    I did the keto diet for about 1 yr I lost a lot of weight but the more strict and the more fasting I did I became under weight lost muscle and my T was in the dirt , I found it really hard the keep on weight adding lots more fast just gave me greasy poo , so I add sweet potatoes and weight training really help me

    I noticed when I turn on my cold water it smells of chlorine. I let my hot water spout run. The hot water boiler boils out the chlorine. I put a gallon of hot water to cool down then filter it and drink it.

    Great video doctor! I can add that ginger has worked for me as well. Also korean ginseng has helped me a lot. I have used cheap but very effective capsules I bought in Holland & Barret in UK. Good quality. Increase libido and energy. Their own brand.

    Hi Dr. Berg I have noticed that walnuts is a key to libido and excercise like lifting at gym makes me so wild which I have experienced by my self. my pair at gym did feel the same thing! Can you explain why please?

      Are doing healthy keto and intermittent fasting? These really decrease hunger and foods costs. Which allows one to buy other things one could not afford before.

      I heard the substance for viagra is sourced from the white parts of watermelon shell.
