Wynton is Steve's youngest child, and he fought like hell to have custody of him. He worked real hard with this son as he had learning disabilities. Today, you can see the fruits of his labor. Wynton is confident, handsome, kind and adores his dad. God Bless Steve and his family. xoxo

True..what most parents do nowadays is they continue to be their kids parent when they r 18, i feel they should just be their friends most of the time..there is time where the status as a parent comes into play but most of the time, just be their friend..trust me, we will feel much more comfortable telling u things u become our friends..cz we tell our friends alot of things but we almost never tell our parents anything..

if you want to know why steve cried it's because he sat down with his son before he left for college and told him to take his studies seriously and not behave in any manner that didn't speak to his upbringing and that he would support him the whole way. and he ended the talk by saying to him, "it's me and you till the wheels fall off". to know that his son took the words to heart and made them into a beautiful father's day gift made him cry.

I grew up watching The Steve Harvey Show. I didn't know it at the time, but it was filled with good values worth emulating. Steve "Hightower" Harvey is obviously a heck of a father.
I love how their connection is crystal clear. The way his son looks at him knowing that Dad is a sentimental being & the way Steve gets emotional confirming he indeed is sensitive to the appreciation of his son and the words of love and affirmation his son gives him. 💙 such a beautiful bond

My father passed away on May of 2020 with zero assets, zero dollars in the bank, and no wife. I have nothing from him but a XL San Francisco Giants Hoodie. I wear it on his birthday and whenever a holiday comes whenever he crosses my mind. He didn’t have a very successful life so he did not tell me much about how to live but instead how not to live. And that today has gotten me into UCLA where I will be getting my Bachelors in Economics in 2024. I Got a Tree blanket pinned up on the wall in my dorm saying “Strong roots from the Cordova Family” and this video just reminded me of how strong my bond is even though my dad ain’t here no more🙏🏼 ❤️
