Marjorie has 3 kids; son Jason and two daughters; Morgan and Lori. Steve has 4 kids; two daughters (twins) Carli & Brandi and two sons, Broderick and Wynton.

He was adopted by him, because his father left him. So, is something important and very emotional for both of them

I had brief interactions with Mr. Steve and Mrs Marjorie three times in one week- that was life changing for me... I couldn't believe it.. That honor line hit me deep, as a man who was once a boy who was adopted. My father never made me feel like I didn't come from him, my dad has always gone to bat for me even sometimes when he shouldn't have. I would die a million times for my dad, he's old now, but when the times comes for me, there's no universe I won't search for him, like Steve's son said "You're it"

@@kimberlyhenderson4806: I am saddened by the cancellation of his talk show as well, BUT.....I'm pretty sure I know the reason. Listening to him telling women NOT to pursue men, sounded like some antiquated talk from the 1950's. A period of time when people got married and stayed married even when they were OBVIOUSLY miserable and discontent in that marriage. Watching how my mother conducted herself regarding man-woman relationships, is exactly the example I did NOT want to follow so, I didn't. Over the years, I have pursued men to whom I was attracted and, those relationships were NOT ended because I was the aggressor. They ended because, our pace wasn't in sync and, most of all, in my more adult years(I am 50+, never married)I refuse to spend more than 6 months in a union that will not result in marriage. Plus, I NEVER subscribed to "shacking up" with ANY man!!

My dad left after my little brothers birth. But I was only 17 months when he left. So i don't remember him. I'm 16 in 2 days and I've seen him twice. I don't have a father but I'm lucky to have all my other family members and loved ones.

This hits home for me, I grew up without a father. What hurts more isn't the fact he's gone, it's the fact that he's out there still and hasn't turned back for us, it's the fact that he left us and didn't come back, it's the fact that I've seen him with my own eyes until I was 7, felt his embrace close by and saw his back turn and walk away. It's the fact that the person I'd wait for everyday near the front door to come back from work to leave out of that same door without another glance and its the fact that he was my hero, he was the man I looked up to, it was the man that I expected to protect me more than anyone else.
The heart break still remains, as a girl we're more attracted to the love of fathers. I didn't have that, I'm 18 now and my one goal in life is to have a family and be a family.

I never cry for shit in my life except when my mom and my sister died, but tears runs down y face when steve's step son said 'you gave me your name'.. i don't know why that got into me so deep! but it does, i never have any parental issues in my life but i think you get to realize what true love is when you are matured and raised by a matured person.

True love on display. You can’t even tell that Steve and Marjorie didn’t have all 7 kids together. My stepdad, “Pop”, raised me and my brother as his own. He married my Mom when I was 7, and my brother was 2. He loved us as HIS sons. He never referred to us a stepchildren. It’s a love like his that has made me to be the man that I am today. I love to see blended families that show love and zero division. We weren’t perfect, but we grew up in a household full of love.
