Keep things rusty, except your tools!
fantastic that you are taking care of this truck....what a great looking, great sounding beast...you will have this truck forever..
I'm glad you realize to let the old girl warm up before cranking it up to tune 5 and giving it the beans. I'm impressed with tune 3 compared to stock!
I'm a huge fan of upgrading to LED headlights. I did it 9 years ago and no one has ever flashed their lights at me thinking I had high beams on, and they've never burned out. A month ago I did it for my elderly neighbors and they love it.
Really nice rig. Clean as can be expected for it's age. This is like having a brand new truck. I like it a lot. 🤟😎
Definitely a good setup, towing is where it really shines, better than most of the new trucks
Great Video. Have a wonderful Christmas.
Merry Christmas
Rowdy indeed! She sounds fit and ready for some snowy duty. She takes the snowy roads in 4-wheel drive mode like a summertime drive. Lights made the road look great for the video. Have an awesome holiday season, and a prosperous '23 with many, MANY new subscribers! Cheers!!!
MERRY CHRISTMAS
Nice work buddy. I remember that dash very well. That truck is unstoppable. Wait till you get some clear roads, just like a sports car, she will take off. Thanks for sharing.
We had the same style tow mirrors on our 1988 F250. They caught my eye while you were backing out of the shop.
Good Job, snow in Maine finally arrived.
My brothers 2000 f250 7.3 was my first diesel short block swap ran great
Oh man,what a great sound🤩🥰. You're lucky to live in Alaska, here in Europe,cars like this,no way🤬🤨.
A merry Christmas 🎄to you from France🥖🇫🇷👊
Good work, what a nice truck
Sounds great!
How sweet it is!
Looks good, sounds great
Got to say that turbo sounds Inpressive. Now hook up the trailer and bring some old trucks home. 👌✌
I miss my old 7.3 idi truck, 4 door cclb 4x4 5 speed, it was the best towing machine i ever had and rode like a cloud when it was loaded and like a buck board empty. Id consider getting another one but i dont haul too heavy anymore and our gas trucks dont give us as much shit when its past -20. On a side not the zf 5 speed in all its variations is prolly the grreatest tranny ever made and strong to boot, its a bitch to rebuild because you need a jig to reassemble it, ask me how I know.
She’s a beastly one now isn’t she. She sounds angry life my wife.
As always I love your content. Do you have a plan on how to keep the headlights from icing up. LEDs don't heat up like halogens.
Super awesome video! Is there a link or some sort of description of where I could get just the bushing by chance? Cant seem to find them anywhere
I found these on eBay. I know Complete Performance has them.
@@BackyardAlaskan awesome thank you!
🤠👍
I need that mine is very fnk loose where you bought it
Good work nice truck. What’s the spot the same as my 97. You may want to get EGT gauge because without running an inner crew EGT it’s gonna get hot towing.. Just saying just letting you know your exhaust gas temperatures will get warm.
Thanks. Yes, I do plan on an EGT setup in the near future. Not too worried about it doing short runs like in the video.
Wha LED model and manufacture of headlight LED conversion did you install? Not the LED light bar but the headlight conversion LEDs.
Sealights
Is there a brand name of the aftermarket mirror extender like you have? I can’t seem to find them maybe I’m just stunned🤪
Factory Ford extendable mirrors.
CAN I GET THE PART NUMER FOR THAT KIT
3 is probably all you need, high idle of course but she sure is smoking along, could not have gone to a better home.
🎅👍
I dropped a bolt to the shifter throw assembly down in the trans. How fucked am i? Ant recommendation to get it out
I would get it out of there. Drain your fluid and pull a PTO cover and you should find it in the bottom hopefully.
