Hey! I have a 2020 m340i and I've just installed a catless downpipe and mhd stage 2. Have you noticed when you did the jump yourself, does the car in comfort take longer to spool the turbo in case of part-throttle, like a bit of extra lag compared to stock? If i WOT it downshifts and everything goes smooth, but with part-throttle for example trying to overtake comfortably it feels like the power hits at roughly 2500 rpm compared to ~2200 when it was stock. Was wondering if it's completely normal or I am having some issues. Thank you!
I already know about the 200mph code and the option to either leave m340i badge at top or m3/m4 badge or like the badge you put, a straight M.. but can the rpm’s be coded to be the same as g8x ?
@@catalin.c The Orange adapter is needed for the initial flash but after that you can use the black dongle for updating the tunes. Which is wayyyyy faster.
Hey brotha I have a 2020 xdrive m340 stage 2 done by SSR. Was wondering if I should get the XHP trans tune. Is it really worth it or nah? Did you feel a difference in power or 0-60 times? It’s my daily too, just not sure if it’s really needed or won’t make much a difference. I’m pushing around 480-500hp rn
@@Bad_m340i I’m stage 2 MHD with stage 3 xHP trans tune, 1st to 2nd there’s a hard jolt when accelerating slowing but is perfectly fine when I punch it on first and shift to second, any tips on fixing that?
This straight up shifts like a DCT. Very nice
Those shifts are so freaking crisp basically like dct. Gonna replace my q50 this year with an m340
What did your e.t improve by on the 60ft? Or 1/8th?
Dumb question - how do you get that screen layout like M cars (like M3 or M4)?
Bimmercode ✅

Can u pls tell me the steps to go stage 1, did u have to send ur ecu to another country to get unlocked???
@TheM3athome get someone to map it or go to a specialist and get stage 1 package

Yeah u need a module tho
Did you use a wireless adapter? My my keyes, MHD black, and Ethernet adapters don’t work
Used the mhd black
@@Bad_m340i Even for the initial flash and not using the Orange MHD dongle?
@@SiIviaSr20 xhp doesnt work with the black adapter on G series. You either need the orange one or the new universal adaptor

I think it’s worth it alone for the aggressive shift feel. If you use drag mode it will definitely help times.
@@Bad_m340i okay for sure, if I get the XHP would I need to retune/modify the bm3 tune I have?
@@G20_SIM i’m not sure about that, since I use MHD primarily

Is there still a 550 torque limitation in mhd stage2?
Xhp removes the torque limit
How do you like XHP so far? Big difference? How is normal driving?
Not huge of a difference since the stock 8HP is a beast but a noteworthy reason for me was removing the tq limiters which is helpful when chasing 550+
Damnn
did u change the xhp settings or is this stage 3 untouched settings
In this clip, these are untouched settings but I later turned up tq reduction in all gears which makes the shifts sound a lot more crispy
I was wanting to know how did you make the dash display 200mph for the top speed?
Coded in m3 display through bimmercode
@@Bad_m340i ahhh okay that’s what I figured but wanted to make sure appreciate it
@@Bad_m340ifacts but u should keep the m340i badge at top. The 200mph & m modes are a must tho

Mhd is more aggressive bm3 is more safe for b58
