I can't help but keep coming back to this video. It's truly awesome and extraordinary. A big shoutout to the teachers who make this incredible experience possible for our kids. Kudos to the students for turning these opportunities into reality. Lastly, hats off to the public education system for fostering such talent in a free (as in no cost) public school setting.
The pianist is the star, although the entire group are truly prodigies. Spectactular!
Such a wonderful performance, I just loved it. Nothing more to say except, thank you. x
Incredible inspiring to see the youth perform this piece. Credits to the musicians and their teachers for providing the inspiration and leadership. San Carlos, California.
It's so beautiful video. This piece feels like the bustling development of a prospeus, booming 1920s New York .
Emocionante demais . Uma verdadeira obra de arte musical !
Espetacular, incrível, fenomenal. Melhor exibição desta música que já ouvi
This orchestra got more emotion and whimsy out of this piece than some other recordings.
And that snare drummer blew my mind with that crisp solo. 👌 they made it sound easy.
Very jazzy. Love it.
Rhapsody in Blue is both beautiful and a complicated composition with all of its ever moving parts, from clarinet, to piano, violin and the combined force of the orchestra's wind, string and percussion instruments. This youth orchestra's performance is simply outstanding, they put it all together beautifully. I have heard many versions of this Gershwin work and this is definitely among the best.
For me, the solo violin in this piece is one of the most incredibly emotional moments in classical music.
Wish there had been a close up- we have to watch from the balcony. No CU's of any violins here. I wonder why.
Thanks, that was me :)
@@andreacicalese Just wonderful, Andrea, it chokes me up every time.
Perfect
This composition is a masterpiece in itself. This performance is particularly refreshing being they took some creative license in the interpretation of the piece. I applaud them!! ]
Alle Achtung, perfekt gespielt.
An outstanding performance!
What beautiful music ❤
Bravoooo!!!!
Talent
🤟🤟🤟
Maravilloso ver a gente tan joven y con talento. La parte negativa es que el editor de video se olvidó del pianista.
They get a SO !!

Pianista maravilloso y con talento , cambia facilmente de tonos y ritmo , ejecutando la melodia al mas alto culmen, desde su inicio, ¡ ¡ MARAVILLOSO¡¡..............................
Please be kind and accept my stupid question - why is the pianist the only one who seems to have no sheet music before them?
16:28 Learned by heart.
This is essentially a concerto for piano and orchestra. She is the soloist. That is the current expectation that soloists play from memory. the question for us humans is not why. It’s how. How can you learn these difficult pieces by heart?
@@ProfFeinman You play it over and over until you no longer even need to look at the music. This is why I never carried the music whilst in the marching band - sadly too many years ago
