Thanks so much for watchin' y'all :-)
Thank you guys. Love you all
Thank you for covering this song!!! Beyond fabulous!
Grew up with Kenny. Only thing Moultrie had to listen to back then.... keep the songs coming... fantastic.
you welcome!
Hey Austin!!
Thanks so much for watching our tribute to the late, great Kenny Rogers. We hope you’re all staying healthy and safe out there.
We are waiting for the concerts to open again and life to get back to normal. Need football. Go Vikings!
This one had me in tears yall are amazing
This was AWESOME
I Knew there was a Reason Why I Couldn't Wait To See It
AWESOME video Guys
Thanks Rob, loved it. ❤ you guys!!
Thank you so much for the tribute to Kenny Rogers saw him in person twice such an entertainer. Your rendition of the song was just perfect. You all entertain us with your music and videos I think you all are awesome. You keep safe also. ❤️
I am genuinely so happy Austin wasn't the lead here. There is no doubt that Austin is exceptionally talented, it was just really cool to hear the consistent quality every singer has in this group. Literally any of them can be the lead, and it was cool to hear all of them have a moment for that.
And each one has something different to offer!☺️
Does the beat box guy also sing? I'm no sure I've heard him.
@@terrietravis3203 He does but it’s rare - I can’t remember the song I’m thinking of…maybe Go Rest High on that mountain…goes without saying it’s one that doesn’t really have percussion. 🙂
@@terrietravis3203 He does sing, for example in How Great Thou Art, but its really rare and mostly very brief. When he does sing, its really beautiful because he has an amazing tenor voice.
He does sing harmonies though, for example in Helplessly Hoping and Auld Lang Syne, he doesn't beatbox at all, he's just harmonizing alongside the others
TOO TRUE!!!
Out of the covers I heard of this iconic song, this one has to be the best ever. You guys really are something special. Kenny Rogers would be so proud of you all.
Thanks for watching & sharing ❤️
It was great!
Thanks for sharing your gift with us ❤
Thanks Tim! You guys are the best!
you welcome!
Hey Tim!!
I want to thank you guys. My husband passed away a couple weeks ago and he absolutely loved this song. Today is our 14th anniversary and it's crazy that you guys covered this today of all days. Thank you again so much. Although I'm crying, they're happy tears because I know he would have loved your cover, just like he adored your cover of elvira
My condolences, and thank you for sharing. There are dark days, but we can always try for a future.
Im so sorry to hear about your loss. Im sending you warm wishes for Peace that passes understanding. May you find comfort in the positive memories of your husband.
I am so sorry for your loss.
Thank you guys so much for the warm wishes. It's really hard right now, especially with this stupid virus. I wasn't able to see him at all before he passed and I'm struggling to explain it to our daughter. She just turned 3 about a week after he passed. I know eventually it won't hurt as bad and I'll be able to have the good memories of the last 14 years.
SO SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS.
The beatboxing guy being the dealer seems absolutely perfect for reasons I cannot explain.
Adam's voice fits this song perfectly
Do you mean chance that's what everyone calls him
They should sell their own HomeFree deck of playing cards. I would definitely buy a few decks! They could have each of the guys be one of the four Kings, and then one of them be the Joker. The question is, who would be the Joker?
Austin or Adam Rupp as the Joker!!!
Adam, of course. D'oh !
Tim
@@cammedved2427 Nah, Tim is my King of Hearts
whitehenker lol. Good one.
This would be an amazing song to remember Kenny Rogers.
What do you mean "would be"?
I only knew about Kenny Rogers because of this song. As do many people that I know.
@@eliashuapilla He had many other good ones too. ☺️
@@jamiecee4960 yes he does. I'm fan of his. You have my mom to thank for that. She loves country music. She's also a huge John Schneider fan. He played the original Bo Duke in "The Dukes of Hazzard " tv show, and he played Jonathan Kent in Smallville
The phrase 'too tired to sleep' makes no sense until it happens to you. Then you laugh at everyone who's still confused about it.
Miserably tired, not the least bit sleepy!
Had this issue since I was a baby. If I don’t nap I am up all night!
@@terryenby2304 Still nap and am up most of the night
dealin with it right now as i'm typing this.....
Back in high school I hated coffee but sometimes drank it to get to sleep. No one understood why it worked. You can be too tired to relax, to sleep.
Kenny is grinning in heaven listening to these wonderful men and their voices. Did Kenny proud
They definitely kept the Ace he dealt them ... Rest easy Gambler.
Guys, everyone should subscribe. No way they should still be just over 1 million.
embarrassed to realize that I hadn't clicked, really. It's done now.
Very good song thank you home free
I heard they lost some after Everybody Walkin' this Land....and its a shame those that unsubbed were the ones that video really was aimed at !!!
They really deserve so much more.
@@miamidolphinsfan That leaves REAL fans to enjoy/appreciate their incredible music!😆😆
I think RUclips needs a ❤ button. Kenny would be flattered and pleased with this. I love it!
Lana M yes!
💯 percent YES
Kenny Rogers would have loved this.
This is my daughter's lullaby, never failed to get her to stop crying. She is 15 now, so many memories of singing this to her❤
Why I’m picturing rain hitting a window, and distant thunder in the background while quietly singing this on a whisper, I don’t know, but its a heartwarming image.
Amazing as always, friends!! Kenny would be very proud 😍
Yes he would
YES HE WOULD. GREAT TRIBUTE.
I just watched your video with Peter Hollens ! And now I see this ! Love your singing. Blessings from California 🦊 🐶
Hey, me and two more friends want to make a cover of your cover of "We three kings". I hope it's ok
I grew up with my dad playing Kenny Rogers almost every day and The Gambler has always been my favorite song of his. I cried when I heard of his passing this year and it made my heart so happy today when I saw that y’all covered this song.
Thank you for using your God given talents to honor a legend.
I got brought up listening to country music is t only good thing I got from my ex stepdad
@@Wheelstar72 What a wonderful tribute to Kenny! Thanks guys!
hi from Australia Kelly, I just had to reply to your comment as it brought back memories. Not sure how old you are but I'm 44 and when I was a kid Dad had a radio in the bathroom, next my bedroom, that played country all day every day. For my 10th birthday he bought me a cassette player and 'Kenny Rogers 20 Greatest Hits'. I wore the tape out.
Hello how are you doing
The guy that does the beat boxing is one talented dude!!!!
I have always loved Kenny Rogers and you guys did him proud. I would love to hear your version of "Coward of the County"
I second this! I'm sure he'd be smiling if he heard this!
Yessssssss bring it on
My absolute favorite Kenny Rogers song, so I have reservations on this lol... I know they can do it, but still. Kenny's voice was just so unique.
True...I love to hear it also
I was JUST ABOUT to request this. I see it has already been done. Guys, this is my A#1 FAVORITE Kenny Rogers song...would LOVE to see y'all's take on it...please note the double southern contraction...totally understand if you don't wish to touch this one.
I think I've just fallen in love with the beatboxer. He's so effortlessly cool.
First the remember Harold Reid, now Kenny Rogers who Home Free had already done a song with. This is just wholesome.
and Charlie Daniels...they covered his DEVIL WENT DOWN IN GEORGIA too
Fran Blakely, “The Devil Went Down TO Georgia.” Someone going down in Georgia sounds like a porno. 😉
@@DennisKovacich that would down on Georgia lmao
Michelle Munn, they could go down on Georgia anywhere, or go down on anyone in Georgia. It works either way.
I honestly believe your group's strongest quality is your respect for the great performers that came before you! That is why someone one day will be so honored to sing with you.
At this point, I firmly believe that Adam is at least half Casio synthesizer by birth.
So true!
He is brilliant.
Adam was killing the bass.
Agreeeee
@@godschozen1000 He means Rupp. The beatboxer.
Ain't none guite as good as Home Free!!! And this from a 65 yr. old metal head!
Donald Monarch,Couldn't agree with you more at 64.
I couldn't agree more! I'm not a fan of country music, but I love Home Free. And I can't stop listening to them! I listen to them several times a day.
Kenny Rogers’ “The Gambler” was the first vinyl album I ever owned, and I still have it. Great tribute, guys!
its a keeper
What I love about you guys .. everyone get to sing.. it's not just one lead singer ..and let me tell you that beat box guy.... is fire.. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥.. keep it up guys
I love listening to your song and I feel as if I am in heaven.i also like the way you guys make beat💖💖💖💖
I got a 8 year old doughter who is autistic. She loves this song so much😍 I have no idea why, but it doesn't metter. I love Home free myself. Greetings from Lithuania guys! ❤️🙂
Loved this song when Kenny sang it and Love it with Home Free singing it. Kenny Rogers would be honored.
Oh yes.....can't wait to react to this one..... 😁😁😁😁😁
Can you also React to Røze "More than you know"?
Hey guys
Did you guys miss diamond dreams or did I miss your reaction
@@droid8472 we have reacted to it but we haven't put it on RUclips yet. We are way off on our recording sessions. We basically have to bulk record on the weekends
@@KingFamilyReacts no problem just wanted to make sure I wasn't crazy. I mean I probably am but that's for other reasons
Adam Rupp, you have outdone yourself in this one! Excellent beatboxing and acting! Wow!🥰♥️
I moved to Georgia when I was 3 and grew up with a Step-father who grew up as a country farm boy of North Georgia in the 50's. My Step-father was such a big part of my life that I called him Dad. Growing up he loved this song by Kenny Rogers and he would sing it all the time. Dad passed away back in 2020. Now every time I hear this song I tear up. You guys did a great job and thank you for giving us this rendition. I just wish I could have had the chance to show my Dad this version.
I like how the are doing songs honoring the greats of country music that have passed on recently. Kenny, Harold and I'm sure there will be more....still keeping us entertained on Home Free Fridays...
Charlie Daniels too
I can't wait, I can't wait, I can't wait!!! I would love to hear them sing "Oh what a beautiful morning" from the Musical Oklahoma with Tim starting it off.
Oh hell yes
That would be both amazing and hilarious.
YEAH BUDDY
Oh Lord, YES!!
Frankly the best cover I've ever heard of this song since the late great Kenny Rogers. I just wish he was here to hear it himself.
Honestly, i prefer so many if their covers to the original
Crystal Cummins I definitely wouldn’t put any of their covers over the original but all their covers are second or third depending on the song
It is so rare for the remake to be just as good as the original. You guys really are an awesome group.
Who else feels that this song makes you feel positive? Great tribute to Kenny Rogers!
Tim one Texan to another, and a baritone/ bass to another , you guys just keep on impressing and knocking them outta the park. Love you guys.
I HAD NEVER HEARD OF HOME FREE. I AM NOW A BIG FAN, GREAT VOICES.
Same! I found them by accident, watching reaction videos. I am from oz and hope they have plans to tour here. Otherwise I’ll go to them!
Yo! Me too. I was recommended grandma got run over by a reindeer. Cause I like the original. And I lost all my sleep last night. Cause. Home free.
Oh yeah an Acapella Version of „The Gambler“. Wonderful. These Boys rock. I love Music. It’s the essence of my Life ❤️
1:37 Adam does a "wuuuuubly wooiublyy" and it's awesome! Love you guys. HF is growing up so fast to a legendary a cappella and Country band we'll all be proud we heard them at their prime.
Gentlemen Mr. Rogers is smiling I'M sure. Thank you for sharing your talent.
Beautiful, Kenny Roger's would be proud of u guys, I know I'm proud of you, keep up the beautiful work
In "Children Go Where I Send Thee", Kenny Rogers didn't want to be referred to as a Legend because it made him sound like he was dead. Now, as for his wishes, we can refer to him as he truly is, a Legend.
You boys have outdone yourselves this time. Kenny would be proud.

Hello how are you doing today
One of my faves, both the late Great KR and awesome HF guys!
This has always been one of my favorites by Kenny Rogers. Lady would be another good one for y'all to do.
Home Free did another song with Kenny a few years ago. "Children Go Where I Send Thee". It was catchy and toe tapping!
Great job and what a wonderful tribute to Kenny Rogers as well.
One of my favorite country songs of all time. Thanks Home Free for doing it major justice. Wonderful!
Wow! More, more, more! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
OMG! This was freaking AMAZING! Adam's beat, Tim sneaking in those low notes. Adam, Rob, and Austin with their beautiful voices. I'm so glad you're entertaining all of us through this pandemic. THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart. RIP Kenny Rogers.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I'm bettin' this will be GREAT.
Loved Kenny Rogers...
LOVE Home Free!
Kenny Rogers would be proud of this his message still lives on in this version
He would be proud fellas. Well done.
Thank you so much for doing a tribute to K.R. But--I gotta say, I love him doing "Children Go" with you so much. But this is a grand salute. Thank you for being the kind of men who honor your fellows and the men and women who went ahead of you. Integrity matters more than it ever has. Thanks for demonstrating it.
Hello M.B. happy new year looking beautiful in your profile how are you doing today?

I'm sure Kenny would approve!! BRAVO
I lover your Gambler! I would love to hear more of Kenny Roger's songs done by you! Lady would be great. Through the years, coward of the County. You do know how awesome you are, don't you? Love you 😍
Another fantastic release with the iconic The Gambler from the recently passed and legendary Kenny Rogers. I loved this song as a kid. It's a story song; a message song; the lyrics are the emphasis and Home Free did it right, they didn't bedazzle the song with over-driven vocal gymnastics. It's sits perfectly in character with the original and in honoring the great Kenny Rogers. 😀🎼🃏♠️♣️♥️♦️🃏
Amen
You guys are getting us through some really bad times. Love all your songs and vedios. Keep them coming!!!!!

Kenny would be really proud!
I've always wanted for Home Free to cover this song, even before Kenny Rogers died. I know they will always make a great cover, and I am really impressed with this one. The last part made me tear up a bit.
I would like to point out Austin's harmonies. I can't get enough of it.
This is a really great tribute to the legend, Kenny Rogers. Thank you, Home Free! I will be looking forward for more tributes of great artitsts from you ❤️
Just AWESOME!!!!!! AGAIN
Great! Love it! Thanks Shirley
just me but having a beat boxer takes you guys to a whole new level... on top of you all being amazing
Goodbye Kenny Rogers, this is not forever. We'll see you again *salute*
I only have two country songs in my top 10 favorite songs of all time
and "The Gambler" is one of them. I fully recognize that as a 45
year-old that nostalgia plays a big role in that song making my top 10,
but I still loved this rendition. Kenny would be proud.

Yes I'm sure it is. They did a song with him awhile back.

As always... Magic. I was raised singing - church choirs, choruses, my dad and sister, and had a barbershop quartet in HS. Sang on a program in the mid- '50s that featured the Buffalo Bills in a school gym in Warsaw, New York. I remember standing in the back with goose bumps and my jaw down to the floor. Outstanding, creative videos. This one is no exception. Clean, stark and powerful.
You guys are awesome
My all time favorite Kenny Rogers song. Thank You Home Free for doing such an amazing job on this song.
Honestly, it might be the best song that they have realeased since Helplessly Hoping came out.
OMG mic drop. what a gorgeous tribute and harmonies of gold. seeing this just now put a huge smile on my face. amamzing job! Kenny is smile and dancing along!

Well can’t love this enough. Already watching a second time. Thank you guys for a wonderful tribute to Kenny. You guys are the best.
I've always loved this song, but yours is now my favourite version.

The Gambler by Kenny Rogers was decided by my uncle as my mom's favorite song, which I agree with, and we all sang it at her celebration of life in 2018. I didn't have the words memorized until after that and now I sing it to myself often whenever I think of her. She would have loved this version, I'm sure.
Kenny Rogers...is honored by your tribute! Thank you for gifts...I love your voices and the beat boxing a perfect combination. Such a rock solid sound!
Kenny would be in awe! We'll done. And thank you

Awesome! What a tribute to Kenny. I love Home Free! Best voices and harmony ever! Just love ya'll BIG!!!
I always love it when Tim does the bass harmony line like the old school classic country, this one and My Church are great examples and of course Elvira. Even Flowers on the Wall. I'd love to hear more classics from yall. I'm also very glad that, with Chance, there is more of a rounded mid section to the harmonies. Honestly I love all of you so much. So much talent, heart, and soul in you all; A beacon of bright light leading by example. Blessings to you and yours and Stay Safe, yall.
Agreed...especially about Chance...the way he shifts his gaze from the camera to his left just melts my heart.
Great job, I'm sure you have made Kenny Rogers proud.
