    Readings: Acts 9: 26-31; Psalm 22: 26-27, 28, 30, 31-32; 1 John 3: 18-24; John 15: 1-8
    Introduction.
    Dear Brothers and Sisters.
The readings for the 5th Sunday of Easter Year B, speak to us about the importance of remaining connected to Christ, the true vine, and bearing fruit in our lives as His disciples.
In today’s first reading from the Acts of the Apostles, we hear about the conversion of Saul, who becomes Paul, and how the early Christian community was apprehensive about accepting him. But Barnabas, a faithful disciple, vouches for Paul and brings him into the community. This passage reminds us of the power of forgiveness, reconciliation, and the transformative grace of God. It challenges us to look beyond our biases and prejudices, and to see the potential for growth and renewal in every person.
The Responsorial Psalm invites us to praise the Lord, who listens to the #sunday_homily #reflection #lent
