I'm surprised they didn't re-home Colin too.
I just spit out my matcha I laughed so hard. Thanks bud
Maybe after that poor testimony they will, wouldn't put it past them.
They tried hiding him
No one would want him after this performance. He seems like a boy trying to live up to his family’s code of “”I don’t recall and correct “”
@@mariaskinnider115 100%
These people do not care about John dying or his justice, and they don't care if Karen is found guilty or not, all they care about is them not getting in trouble !!! its clear af and disgusting
Small town entitlement … this Albert family is just gross. Why the attitude towards the defense team when it was the internet that was harassing them… and furthermore, if it weren’t for this kids uncle and mother, he wouldn’t be there! Unbelievable.
Colin doesn’t remember anything at all from the last 3 years except that he left Brian’s house at 12:10am and a VERY detailed playback as to how he hurt his knuckles
Does anyone believe anything he says at this point?
He slipped on ice and saved his fall with a superhero landing. Seems legit.
Right?? He vomited that story out like he's been whispering it to the mirror for 2 years straight.
Karma is watching this guy! I can’t figure out why every single person tried to keep his name out of absolutely everything. It’s not like he’s tiny Tim in a. Christmas Carol. IMO
So this young boy beat the crap out of John until he died. Yeah, that’s legit.
This case has become a mystery novel that I want to skip to the last chapter and find out what actually happened
I am wondering if we will ever find out what really happened. 😢
I don’t think we will ever know what actually happened, unfortunately. It’ll forever be an OJ Simpson, Casey Anthony, JonBenet Ramsey, Lisa Irwin type case.
@@Moxie865 I'm trying to keep neutral since we haven't got to the forensics yet.. but yeah, it's looking like another unsolved mystery
@Moxie865 After OJ's own "If I did it" book and specially that interview where he walks us through it, imo we basically know what happened there. Here however, I don't think we'll never know. 😢
Same !
Maybe "God save the commonwealth" isn't a formality, it's a literal prayer.
Lol!
In this case, it very well may be! lol
Gut laugh initiated
😂
Every time I hear "commonwealth", I think: Why pull India and Australia into this? 😅
"There's no evidence of anything in this case" OMG I LAUGHTED SO LOUD ! Ain't that true Lally ! THAT'S the problem !!
Seriously!!! 🤣🤣🤣
@@ThatRedhedd 🤣
Somebody clip it or make it a meme please. That’s the prosecution in a nutshell. I just can’t 😂
We NEED that as a clip on loop!!!
And that’s the real problem. I don’t even know what the main cause of death was, whether it was the hypothermia or the blow to the head.
Is nobody noticing that 17 year olds are drinking and going to bars and police officers are drnking and driving?
It happens all the time, but it's the only way that it's just ignored like it's normal and acceptable. Also, the kids are out all hours of the night and no one even knows where they are?
I'm sure these kids are drinking and driving too. We just won't hear about that. These parents are not responsible at all! 🙄 See, let your kids do adult things at an early age and crap like this happens.
Yes!! Also, it's illegal for under 18 to drive after like 12:30 which they already testified they were.
Seems he's been drinking since he was 15 or 16. Not a good look for a family of cops.
I'm getting Murdaugh vibes from this family...
Colin has cross-examnesia.
I like that!!
I don't remember.
@@basedelonHaha
LOL definitely going to use this
Cant wait for all the people Colin Albert has fought start contacting the defense team!!!
His school discipline records would be good to have.
I can’t wait until they met him in the parking lot late at night
@@KAT-mx3xq but his dad is a cop. Trust me. Schools are political. They went
easy on him.
Its as if the defense is not only fighting for Karen but for the O'Keef family as well for closure. This is all very sad
Yes! I came here to say that, too!
Indeed! The more this trial goes on, the more it seems that defence are the only ones who remember JOK and show any kind of empathy to the fact that he had died.
What makes it sad is that if you watch John’s brother when prosecutors are arguing to submit the videos from Collin, he looks disgusted - like he thinks Karen is guilty already. Despite the evidence to the contrary.
@@BookishDark the O’Keefe family does think Karen is guilty. They are on the Albert’s side
@@Hickory60 I figured. Seems sad that they’d rather blame her than find out if it’s even her fault.
I have found 12 bees dead in my driveway and thought about that more than these people thought about a man known to them!
How did they die?
that IS weird 😯😯😯
You or your neighbors are using pesticides. 💔
Nope, no pesticides. I have no idea why, which is why I still think about it. But some people have suggested the weather or it being mass suicide because the Queen moved on
@stellaallbright4750 nope wasn't that
Emily, you asked how does no one in that house care ... that alone should speak VOLUMES to the jury as to who committed this crime.
I hope the Okeefe's family relationship with Karen Read is repairable. I don't know what really happened but so far i feel truly sorry for the victim and the accused.
No matter what happens with the verdict, I’m afraid the acrimony all around will be too great. IMO.
"There's no evidence of anything in this case." Did the Prosecutor forget which side he's on? Lol
Colin Albert is giving Alex Murdaugh's son, Paul. Paul killed someone in a boating accident because he was highly intoxicated and driving super fast. The both give the same entitlement and selfishness. When I first saw Colin I couldn't remember who he reminded me off but it finally came to me.
Yes! Same! I keep thinking about how everyone seems to be intimidated by the Albert family and they're all starting to seem suspect to me. I'm trying not to be biased, but when a cop and his entire family is regularly (by the sounds of it) drinking all night and driving home, it's making me wonder.
It’s so funny you say that bcz I thought the exact same thing!!!!
Thisss! Me too!
I saw a comment on another trial video here that called the Albert's the "Boston Murdaughs" and man, this kid REALLY played the part of Paul Murdaugh SO well.
So far the only thing Prosecution has proven to me thus far is: A) It was snowing; B) law enforcement is (at best) completely incompetent at preserving a crime scene and investigative work; C) most of the witnesses have weaponized amnesia the second Defense asks them anything. "Is the sky blue?" "I don't know, I don't recall."
Wait…. IT WAS SNOWING?!? 🤯
@@rosey_ieNo worries. Lally will lay it out for you. Five or fifty more times.
They haven't even proven the "weaponized amnesia" to me, since they didn't interview most of them for 1.5 years!
I don’t know that I believe that it was snowing. Would need to hear more before I make up my mind. 😅
I AGREE!! 100
Why are all the prosecution witnesses so belligerent especially these young kids. His arrogance is learned from his parents but to not care that someone found dead on his lawn is not given a second thought is truly disturbing.
Totally its really messed up and I feel so bad for the victim's family who has to endure this absurd trial thats making a mockery of O'Keefe death. The Albert's are a powerful and well connected family. Lally said there is no evidence so who's an expert on getting rid of evidence? Law enforcement which happened to be everyone in their house that night so why are they so defensive when they're not even on trial? Maybe its endless lies, amnesia and unhelpfulness in this case. Its truly sad that they don't care and don't see the feds are watching them. Just a matter time until the feds get collin. A self entitled family who is abusing their power to cover up a murder investigation
Are the belligerent or defensive? I get, "they have circled the wagons to protect one of their own," vive.
@@missmelissz couldn’t agree more. As if the O’Keefe family haven’t suffered enough they have to endure this shambles of a trial. Surely other LE must be ashamed of the way a fallen officer is being treated.
They didn’t do anything to John O’Keefe. Karen Read did. She admitted it several times to different people. Wake up people!
So things that this family of cops and military vets teach their kids: 1) Walk with your head down oblivious to your surroundings 2)Don't lock your doors someone might want to come in 3) Barge into someone's bedroom to wake them up 4) When you slip on ice, the best way to safely break your fall is with a closed fist, knuckles straight down
Truly some life lessons we can all live by
My husband is former sheriff 's deputy. It wouldn't turn out too good for someone bursting into our room while we were sleeping.
I wonder if they taught their kids not to drink and drive while driving drunk with the kids in the back lol
@seagettler1917. 5) If you're a cop and you have some involvement with a possible crime, dispose of evidence prior to a court order stating to NOT dispose of evidence.
It’s wild to me. We’re a LEO family. We check the doors multiple times before going to sleep. We have cameras and a Malinois. She is a trained protection dog, I might add. The worst thing you can do for your pet and family is not train them, especially a shepherd. And we don’t refer to her as “it”. She is our heart and the only reason I sleep soundly. This entire thing is INSANE and makes ZERO sense. I bet I could poll hundreds of officers in Oklahoma and we’d all agree that our doors are locked. Which says a lot considering the crime rate difference.
Two jurors talking
oh my God, I am 75 years old and have a better memory than this guy - you cannot remember, a week ago❓ L O L
Allen went hard on questions because a women is on trial for life. She will get a LIFE sentence for this if convicted. If you believe shes innocent then you will feel scared for her and any other person falsely accused.
Every case prosecuted in Canton, MA for the past 30+ years - the decades anyone involved in the corruption of this case - should be reopened and heavily scrutinized!!
This is a fantastic point.
At this point, all of the Alberts and friends of family feel so rehearsed and defensive. It rubs me so wrong
@@ann5028 no kidding. Colin REALLY irritated me. And I’ve been watching as a juror too, I haven’t done any research or anything either. He seemed incredibly dishonest and rehearsed to me. His fighting stuff was obvious.
@@pmbp6584 oh don’t even get me started on that kid 😂 the most entitled self-righteousness I’ve seen in a long time. He’s never had his ego checked and it shows.
He literally said he can’t remember talking to Allie in the LAST FIVE YEARS!!! This happened TWO YEARS AGO…
If I were a juror, after hearing that, I would assume everything he says is a lie because that was so absurd.
As a radiology tech, I am not convinced he wouldn't have broken all of his metacarples all of his weight landing on his fist.
The injury could be from either a fall or striking something or someone. We are no closer to knowing who done it.
@@katiehettinger7857 that's what the prosecution's witness said, the commenter said, as a radiology professional, she finds it hard to believe he fell the way he said and didn't break his knuckles or hand. She was giving her professional opinion. That's more of a believable outcome than what Colin said.
@@calliew311💯
Yeah I can't see any version where you break your fall on your knuckles/fist and not break
His wrist would have most likely broke
I need to take a break from watching this. It's depressing that these people don't seem to care about John O'Keefe. Brian Albert went to the funeral of a fallen officer, in New York. Yet, he could not even walk outside when there was a fallen officer in his front yard. In my opinion the young people come across as uncaring and arrogant. I hope that the jurors notice this. (I hope that my comment about the young people is OK, I did say that it was my opinion.)
The truth hurts / and I agree and could say worse- you were polite
I think you summed up where I am at this point. I haven't seen any true emotion from any of them with regard to John O'Keefe. It's especially sad given that he was the family member taking care of his niece and nephew who had already lost so much. His death must have been absolutely devastating to them. They've lost every adult caregiver they've had in their short lives.
The family that drinks together lies together
Replay crew!! I also get this “do not care” vibe from Colin and the others. Whether you knew the victim or not ( which they did!) you’d be devastated a man lost his life on your lawn leaving behind children as well.
Or is it emotional distancing, because Colin was involved and doesn't want to think about what happened.
They are protecting one of the kids imo
This makes the most sense to me @katie
I strongly sense and you can tell that they were indeed instructed on what NOT to say. And to be honest otherwise. With that said i sense they are holding some things back and careful and detached as Emily herself has said (distancing themselves)
It doesn’t endear them to the audience / jury does it?
How many times did I rewatch Mr. Jackson's "Seriously?" In response to Colin's scrapping knuckles on slippery driveway story?
Yes.
1:10:09 just so i can keep watching it
Also Emily's cackling laugh is me!
It was the best laugh all day.
"Seriously?"
"Objection, your honor."
Fair.
🤣 Colin went with the Menendez Brothers look today!
I mean… if he would have said he fell backwards, it would’ve made so much more sense. I could see his arms going out and the back of his hand banging on the pavement. That’s not what he said though. You’d think he would’ve contemplated the physics of it over the years but he clearly isn’t a critical thinker LOL.
Here’s what I think the reasoning is for putting this on Karen - NOT because she’s an outsider, but because she happened to come back and find him. It was opportunistic more than anything else. I think if she hadn’t shown up they might’ve just said, “wow, we had no idea! He left and we thought he was fine! We had no idea he’d been hurt out there!”
Yea. Police short hand of suspects:
1. Husband/Wife/Partner
2. The witness
3. Anybody else
You’ll hear evidence later that somebody from the community called in the 3:00 am hour for the snowplow to plow that street. I think they were trying to blame it on the snowplow but decided for some reason to blame it on Karen instead.
@@DeeKay-66 ahh didn’t know that - I’d guess that’s it’s probably just because she showed up and they were annoyed that she screwed up the plan
Alan Jackson saying 'Bitch', 'Bro', 'F* you up' and with bro-worthy conviction is just... I can't....😆, gotta love the defense!
I Know!! I was like.. Ooooo!!!!!
Highlight of the trial for me 😂 he really turned it on for bang bang and talked to him in his language!
Alan Jackson is so poised it’s hard to imagine he ever uses these words but he NAILED them in tone, context and delivery! What an amazing lawyer!!
A conspiracy is nowhere near as complex as one might imagine. In Law Enforcement, rank holds a ton of weight, and politics (or one's desire to further one's own career) is enough to get anyone to "stand down" and look the other way. The lead investigator was a close friend of the family. Nobody besides him needed to be in on it. He simply steered the investigation a particular way, and his comrades didn't argue with his theory of the crime. The impropriety throughout the investigation is public knowledge!
The same goes for how Brian Albert, the eldest sibling with a well-known propensity for violence, leads his family. One word from him, and everyone falls in line. They just do what they're told and don't need to be IN ON why they're doing or saying anything.
Exactly. Fear and intimidation are very strong motivators.
Exactly this!! I almost take offence to people calling this some kind of "grand conspiracy" and saying "you can't get hundreds of people to be in on this, why would they". If this is a conspiracy it's only of (parts of) ONE family (the Albert-McCabe) and their friend Michael Proctor. It's just a handfull of close knitted people. Cover ups/conspiracies like that is not far fetched at all, and happens all the time.
Absolutely 💯 When everyone has the same values and sense of entitlement, you don't have to directly communicate to work together. It's understood that in these situations, you do/say whatever will put you and yours in the most advantageous position possible.
Good lord it is amazing how little these folks remember, but the how specific some other memories are that are beneficial to them. My heart breaks for the victim's family
These people are not good enough at lying to be lying this much.
Colin got cocky. "I think im equally strong with both hands" only one way to know that bro
I've lived in Canton, MA, all my life and never heard of the Albert family until this trial. John O'Keefe lived 2 streets over from me. This case is really dividing the town.
“There’s no evidence of anything in this case “ ☠️☠️☠️☠️☠️☠️☠️
I cannot get over how not a single person in this family, who had a dead man on their front lawn, not ONE of them, can even be bothered to pretend they give a shit. Not one of them seems like they care at all that a man is dead, two kids have lost yet another care giver and close family member, and a family lost their son/brother/friend. The stonewalling, indifference, and sometimes even belligerence, is heartbreaking.
I always brace myself with my knuckle’s every time I fall said no one EVER!!!
“I hurt the front of every single knuckle while bracing my hand!” Said Colin
Oh yes the classic scraping every knuckle perfectly and not hurting the rest of your hand type of fall.
He could have said he slid on ice, or slipped and landed on it (ie pinning his hand) but no it was bracing
When does the trial of Karen Read start?
Also, as a internet juror, so far I don't have any any idea if John O'Keefe is even DEAD.
I just wish there was 1 person that would be truthful and not hedge. A man died! This family acts like this is a no big thing.
I think some are scared shitless of retaliation of Albert’s, specifically, Brian Albert.
I feel like it was accident by one of the kids & parents are hiding it.
It is really really weird how it's all going. Every single person involved seems to love answering for the prosecution and completely blanks the defence. It's like they all made that agreement beforehand to be intentionally obtuse.
I still think Karen did something that she's hiding. But I sort of think that about everyone involved now...
The wonderful lawyer and pharmacist couple for the win thus far.
They are definitely defending the Albert's as opposed to getting justice for John
If it was my family member who was killed and i started this trial confident that the prosecution would be putting up everything that would prove the defendant did it, and this is how it was turning out and the cw hadnt even rested yet, i'd be so pissed. The shoddy investigation, the obviously lying witnesses, the fact that the feds are investigating the state cops for this case... im not a family member and I'M pissed this is happening to them publicly. What do you think the family is feeling and thinking when watching this??
I cannot imagine having to be John's brother listening to the testimony of officer snow blower explaining their evidence collection in red solo cups and a grocery sac. If I was him I would be filing a civil suit against that police department for mishandling his brother's death investigation.
I'll say it again, this judge & prosecutor do not value or respect the jurors TIME. Jurors actually loose income $erving on a panel. I'm Shook!😮
Seriously!!! "What time did the basketball games usually start? Who did you sit with? What was the score? How many time-outs?"
I truly feel that jurors should be payed the same pay scale they are loosing. If you make 12 an hour you get it, if you make 35 an hour you get it. Ect.
I would be SO pissed to lose 6-8 weeks of income.
*lose *losing

was watching the live behind everyone else and jumped over to replay to comment: my brother unironically has fallen the exact same way Colin claims to and he broke his hand and his knuckle was out of place. my first time having real life experience that counters something I've heard a witness say!
Yes. I also once had the same injury when i slipped und hit my knuckles against a wall while falling.
(collin is still not a trustworthy witness to me. But you can injure yourself in so many different ways on ice. And it didnt look to me like he was punching a person. )
That was my immediate thought, if you had managed to make ur body do that (with a drunk mind probably just reacting not thinking) I'd say it's very likely you'd break those knuckles/hand! Seems more likely the body splays and you'd hit an elbow or forearm. He should have said he went snowmobiling and scraped it on tree branches.
@@SonjaHamburg yeah you'd think he would have explained it this way instead! but falling straight on the knuckle didn't make sense haha
I don’t know… I slipped on ice once as a kid and the most visible injury was very badly scrapped knuckles (all the way down to the bone). I wasn’t trying to punch the ground to break my fall or anything - that’s just how my flailing around trying to regain my balance ended.

Why are these witnesses not wanting to help clear things up? They’re not on trial?!
You don’t think so? The defense is basically saying “It wasn’t Karen, it was one of these people.” But they don’t get the same protections she has.
@@jedipingyeah but if they're lying then their purging themselves so why are they not being truthful? Oh because they're lying and why are they're lying oh because they're covering up a murder investigation.
I think everyone is frustrated with alberts because they don't seem to have any care towards the victim's family and they need to be brought to justice if they're obstruction to justice. So they should probably tell the truth if they don't have a reason to hide anything regarding this case. An affair or shameful things you don't want others to see is self fish on the victims family that your worries of what people thinking of you are more important than the death of O'Keefe. Someone needs to do a deep dive on Bev. Why did she push this case?? Who else pushed it??
Should she prevail, I hope she sues the commonwealth for her attorney bills plus enough to retire early with the best healthcare available.

@@foxymama9203 ahh! Okay that makes sense now! That’s why I’m getting them confused and why the parents were so defensive about which kid was the “get off my lawn” kid. I’m so confused, but the only thing I think everyday is “how in world did a grand jury and DA think this was a case they could prosecute?” I’m absolutely baffled. I refuse to do any outside research though. I’m seeing this through as a jury member, except for the occasional discussion here.
@@cmeblu75 I am also a member of the alternate jury of the internet and I agree! I am not seeing why they brought this case with such a shoddy investigation. I don’t know if Colin was involved, but they sure are acting like they are covering for someone. I can’t figure out if it is just a reaction to being the third party possibility and then getting harassed on social media or if they are actually guilty of something. I can’t see with the evidence so far that Karen is guilty of this and I am interested in what Jenn McCabe had to say because she is all over this case! Mostly right now I am just heartbroken for John’s family 😢 He and they deserve so much better that the investigation they did.
My questions have questions lol
My guess is if Proctor gets in to testify it will be a day definitely NOT to miss.
Will this turn out to be a boys will be boys case. The Albert family and friends agreed Colin's got his whole life ahead of him and too bad about Karen someone has to take the fall. 😡
We need the weekend..this is awful..they are cold uncaring people..I agree Mr. OKeefe is lost in this mess..
He just shows the entitlement and ignorance this family has.
I grew up near Canton and my sister lived there for a couple years.
100% corrupt!!!
I was super curious how people of the area see this gang… IF they actually don’t lock the doors like they say, and seeing that they’re all cops, known at bars etc, made me wonder if people know not to mess with them.. Some of the people also look a bit more aged than I’m used to seeing for this age (adults) which can mean party lifestyle or high stress rough lives. You pick up on a lot of things as patterns as humans and they’re giving me that vibe.
Canton is actually a nice town. It’s also so close to some not so nice cities and towns making it a desirable town to move “up” to. Need I say more?
Matt McCabe has John Travolta in Primary Colors vibes.
4:46:48 EMILY LAYING IT ALL OUT! 😂🤣 literally how this went to trial is beyond all comprehension.
The more this trial continues, the more it seems so many residents of Canton kept John O'Keefe at arm's length. That's not respect. That's pity. They socially mythologized him into a martyr figure. His true friends recognized the difference between "Sainted Officer John O'Keefe" and "John, our friend who also chose to take in his niece and nephew because he's that kind of guy." The Commonwealth's witnesses have unequivocally shown, regardless of what happened that night, that Karen Read was someone who affirmed John's humanity.
You don't fall in your knuckles. You fall on an outstretched hand. It's reflexive
Depends how you fall. If you slip backward, you put your hand back and I've ALWAYS closed my fist. It's not unheard of.
My ex did but it resulted in a broken hand.
FOOSH
What if you are holding something and don’t let go? Like make a fist around it?
I believe he had something in his other hand. I would expect a fracture if he fell in his Knuckles. Listening to the whole testimony ... I'm just not buying it.

This whole family and their “can you rephrase your question?” Instead of can you repeat your question; every single one of them, I don’t understand the evasiveness at all, if you have nothing to hide just answer the questions.
They will get more public hate from not answering questions.
I also think some of the family members are not that smart and don't understand certain words. 😂 Sorry Colin and Julie lol!!
They all have the same basic script.
I’m assuming the family lawyer said “if you don’t want to answer say - I don’t remember” if you don’t understand or need to stall say “rephrase”
@@A_L-qy2qg I’m sure of it, I’m just saying if this is their way to avoid online hate and harrasment instead of being truthful it is a very poor strategy
@@PLo895 I completely agree. Makes them look so sus.
I get that Colin was harassed and that can be very upsetting.
But he doesn't remember anything. (Including any instructions from the prosecution)
BUT! He knows no one told him to say "I don't remember". AND he knows EXACTLY what time he left his uncle's and got home to his parents.
He also knew exactly how he bruised his knuckles down to how he had something in his hand. If I was a jury his testimony would be struck
Also he knows he never thinks about the fact that a fellow officer to his Dad died in his yard
Adele would like to be excused from this narrative
I can’t keep the people in this trial straight and don’t even ask me about the timeline. I know very little about this case and after following it for 13 days…..I STILL know very little about this case. 😂
Why is it with every single witness, the questions and answers are fine and dandy through the beginning of the night but when they get to the house, the questions and answers get fuzzy and inconsistent??? And Lally starts going backwards and off topic?? Why can't he just ask about the night in order without trying to confuse the jury? And how does Matt McCabe know Julie Nagel is looking out the door? That is such a weird question. This case is so frustrating. As this testimony goes on, the answers start to conform to the prior testimony. Like the CW is asking questions to fix prior answers from other witnesses and it is so sus to me!! Every single one of them have a different story. And I just want to know: If Karen's car was FACING the flagpole and John O'Keefe was hit with the BACK of the SUV, wouldn't he be thrown TOWARD THE MAILBOX and not toward the FLAGPOLE???? Their testimony makes no sense whatsoever.
Alcohol could explain their worsening memories as the night wore on.
Not that I believe that for a second.
As Emily as asked, why isn't there a diagram of where everything was?
Like a good Agatha Christie
@@katiehettinger7857 Yeah, the DA seemingly unable to present a coherent case... that feels an awful lot like the mass amnesia of so many witnesses and the keystone kop routine.
Lally repeatedly asking witnesses irrelevant questions in bulk: I'm just not willing to assume he's an incoherent bone head. EDB noted that at times Lally was suddenly logical and coherent....
If this really is what defense has alleged, I hope the Feds have got the goods.
I have been confused about this exact point as well!!! Also, wouldn’t he have been on the road, not so far on the lawn?
Does anyone find it strange that Lally started to object so much when certain families are testifying
The defense does it too. It happened in Murdaugh as well. You could tell when they were getting to the important parts of the testimony by when the objections started.
So here’s the thing for me, if KR has been framed, the only reason would be because someone in the house where he was found, committed the crime, otherwise what is the reason for the coverup/framing. So I think that someone in that house has committed the crime of murder or they have gotten into something with the victim and something has gone wrong and Brian Snr has asked his police buddies to point the finger elsewhere. It just doesn’t make sense any other way for me and I am struggling to understand how this even got to trial. There is definitely more to this than we are seeing right now, I have to say that I am looking forward to when the defence start their case and get to bring in their witnesses.
That's the only explanation for me as well. If these people weren't connected to the Canton/Boston police and the state police, I would assume the investigation would have gone a whole different way. Or we'd hope it would at least. Maybe someone in the house didn't deliberately kill JO, but he may have hit his head so hard that it was an accident. Regardless of who it was that killed JO, the family weren't gonna take the chance of going to jail. Even for manslaughter. That's my theory anyway.
All of these kids act like adults even as teens. Drinking underage, I'm sure driving at some point while having drank, no curfew just come and go as they please. They all just seem like they're used to doing what they want to. The parents seem to treat them like friends instead of being parents. Colin seems like he's been baby'd his whole life, yet he probably did adult things. He also seems like he'd be a bully. There's noway that kid hasn't been in a fight. I sure hope the defense finds one of his victims to testify. RIP John and praying for Karen.
Im hoping for one witness in particular , who apparently went into Reads lawyers office and named the two culprits and told what happened , plus a snowplough driver with a very interesting piece of information
@@StellaKnightscan I find this on the internet? Ready for that rabbit hole!
🎯 BINGO!! 🎯
He doesn’t remember whether it’s been a year since he talked to his best friend!?
One thing I will say, is that the major takeaway as viewers and hopefully the jury too is that we are all heartbroken about this terrible tragedy. That John O’Keefe deserved better - even from acquaintances, and especially those that had this tragedy happened near them. I’m glad the prosecution called his family members first, not only so they could watch the trial, but also so there is a constant reminder that he died tragically. It is completely tragic and I’m devastated for his family. I look forward for truth coming out and I hope the guilty party is held accountable - regardless if it’s a dog, a kid, a friend, or the girlfriend. But most importantly the shotty police work.
My heart goes out to KR. She lost the man she loved, tragically - possibly at the hands of their friends, her friends & "family" were ripped away from her or turned on her, including the two children she loved, her career, reputation, and place in the community is destroyed, and now her life hangs in the balance. She lost everything!!
💔💜💔
Something tells me Colin wasn't first in his class.
all I know about this whole case is it's not surprising someone ended up dead on one of these people's lawns. Who knows who did it, but damn, these people live reckless lives.
From those videos it seems like CA goes to a dark place when he’s drinking. Full of rage, less inhibition, impaired reasoning.
Which is very typical of young teenage boys who are drinking. A mix of surging testosterone levels and a substance which causes a lack of inhibition do not mix.
@rebekahmanning7934 -- NOT ALL/MOST TEENAGE BOYS. 🙄
@@stellaallbright4750not a necessary comment. Never is people understand the concept of “not all” without saying not all
How did Mr. Mcabe see the tire tracks but not the body?
The selective memory in this case is very disturbing.
If Karen Reed moved forward 3 times then left how did she hit him with the back of her car
Yes and at what point did she back up high speed? They arrive at the same time as one of the kids brother so was it after that group left? Was it before people looked out the window? I just don’t get how in this very short period of time when the car was seen and observed she was able to run him over (with no suspicion) and left without notice.
I can't believe SO many people have brain farts. No one remembers anything. This is so sad.
Ok so i have a pretty good memory. I remember details very well as a detail oriented person…. I was courting someone (lengthy courting / considering & feeling into a relationship with him) and this guys memory was so bad. So so bad. He forgets everything. All the time. I tried to see it as ok and cute but it became an issue. He cant recall important conversations we had. Important romantic moments with me. He missed many things i talked about. I had to reexplain/repeat so many things. He asks the same questions always and never remembers what I answered the last time he asked the same question. … became too much forgetfulness & lalalandish ways for me. ….. so with that said, tho I believe some of the i dont knows are instructions, some may be real too. Some people have that sorta bad or weird - sorta like an ADD look a like memory.
@ThatAmber_ -- Except for the fact that over 30 witnesses in or connected to this family have the same exact memory loss, uncaring/arrogant attitude, and impeccable recall of very specific details. 🙄 Please.
FINALLY Lolly Has Admitted, "There is No Evidence of Anything in this case" lol 😂 LoL 🎉🎉❣️❣️
This Soooo Needs ❣️to Be Merch
Replay crew: if the older Albert's, etc. have created a situation where these kids are being scrutinized unnecessarily and unfairly, it's shameful and mind boggling that you would subject your kids to harassment and lifelong gossip to cover your own ass!
Unless they're covering for one of the kids. Idk honestly but I do believe they are covering something.
@@hnraj9441completely agree
Clearly, they don't GAF. 🙄
I never thought I would miss the murdaugh trial
Bring the jury! And the fire of that prosecutor. Creighton was going to get Murdaugh convicted and he was completely clear and convincing.
Week #3 and I've only heard the name of the person on trial and the person who died less than 10 times each. Seriously????????
Just noticed Colin Albert’s says near the beginning of cross that he doesn’t have social media. Then later when they ask why he stopped texting the McCabe girl after Jan 28th, he says they were messaging on other platforms. Snapchat is social media and every other platform you could use to communicate on a phone would also be social media….
He could've been referring to the current moment, not at the time
I believe he got rid of the social media bc of all of the harassment. But he's def involved in what happened so I have no sympathy
To be fair, though I think CA is sus AF, people do have wildly varying ideas on what counts as “social media”. I think people get an idea in their head that only Facebook-esque sites are social media, even though that isn’t true
I miss Judge Newman, Judge A and Judge Unicorn so muuuch ! 😫🥺
"Are you wearing a tuxedo ? Objection ! Sustained." WHYYYYYYY ???
Everytime i see John O'Keefe's dad sitting there, apart from when he's asleep, he appears to me to be a broken man. I feel sorry for the family to have to sit through all of this and hear that LE have messed up the investigation of their sons death. It is so sad.
3:36:45 he looked out the window, saw the suv gone yet didn't see a man on the ground??
But he saw the tire marks? Weird
Lally is so frustrating. He’s so boring, repetitive, and the majority of his questions are irrelevant. The defense is smart for not objecting because they want the jury to be bored, frustrated, and zoned out during the prosecution’s case and questioning.
I dont think he wanted to prosecute this case, honestly. I think his boss made him. That's why he seems so disinterested/dispassionate
After stating there is no evidence in this case, period...the jury is probably wondering WTF ARE WE DOING HERE!?
The videos coming in lessens the impact of the crying "let's feel sorry for Colin A" testimony!
You never have to apologize for us being able to spend another 4 weeks with you.
If I never have to hear from Colin Albert again it will be too soon. What a slog.
Just a note…. My 10 year old son who is a full on gamer knew exactly what meta data is. My 19 YO daughter was oblivious as well as my 22 YO son.
Did your 10 year old watch the Heard-Depp trial?
That’s so interesting & curious 🧐
I hate to say it but I don't think these kids are very bright!
My 16 year old says he hadn't heard the term either (which proves he doesn't listen to me moan about trials)
This kid not the sharpest tool in the shed. Couldn't comprehend basic grammar.
Here is what happened IMO: Colin and John got into a physical altercation and the family jumped in to help Colin, thus the dog jumped in to help as well (watch dog attack training videos and they ALWAYS go for the arm). Please also keep in mind that the screenshot photos from Lally are altered and Colin‘s knuckles show ZERO injuries but the REAL photo (that defense attorneys have) show the actual injuries on his knuckles. The FBI will figure all of this out and Colin and others will be held accountable for John’s death. Oh and of course, Karen is about to be acquitted.
Also (and remember):
1) Basement flooring replaced
2) house then SOLD
3) dog “rehomed”
4) cell phones traded in (gone).
This is my comment. I posted it a while ago and you straight up (verbatim) STOLE IT. WOW. Come up with your own comment hey??
Why did you steal my comment?? Those are my words and thoughts. Are you a bot or just a thief??
Question: I am doing things all day while listening. Where was this then 18 yr old high school boy @12 am? I know that wasn't okay in my house eons ago. I'm confused! Sorry & thanks!
Whoever's comment it is, I don't even think the family jumped in to help with a fight. I think the dog jumped in and john fell and hit his head and the family jumped in to cover up the accident.
It's kinda hard to believe a snot nosed 18 year old could beat up a 6'4 police officer. It's possible he didn't want to hit back? I don't know...
So much lies that can’t keep them straight! 4 people never mention Higgins Jeep being there
Its VERY telling how little he's been mentioned, and yet he was the first person brian senior called that morning.. bc Higgins and colin did it. That's why they keep trying to distance colin from it too.
How many law textbooks are being edited and prepped for printing as soon as this trial wraps? Prosecution: What not to do
There is so much reasonable doubts in this trial, all I have is doubts!!!
23:24 I ABSOLUTELY had a Los Angeles DA tell me before a trial that if I couldn’t remember anything I was being ask *for certain* don’t commit to it and say I don’t remember. This kid is lyinggg lol
State trooper lived across the street with three cameras but when asked nope I have nothing just another missing video
If they use simplisafe its plausible.
It NEVER works when I need it and pretty much 80% of the time in general
".... But did you find out.?" This commentary has me rolling 🤣. BTW new law nerd and I am already constantly saying "I have questions." 😂
1:40:00 "There's no evidence of anything in this case." Is that by design, Mister Lally?
