Who are you and what is your name?
My name is My View My Opinion (MVMO) & I am a Podcaster, on RUclips. Due to safety concerns on the internet, I do not share my personal information anymore and I ask that others respect this. Also, I'm against the cult of personality & the promotion of self. I have no desire to "make a name" for myself. That's odd in this day & time I know, because most strive for this. Too many folks make themselves the center of attention instead of helping others first & allowing the information they share to be the focus of folks attention. Many crave applause, acceptance, & "fans & followers". I believe in letting the information take center stage.

My RUclips channel is host to my podcast. However, I do make on camera appearances from time to time & have many times in the past- as this is how my channel started, with me on camera talking about whatever. And for those who always ask, yes, I am a black woman, LOL!!!!

As far as Unconditional Love, I’ve never believed in that. I think it’s arrogant to expect ANYONE to love you no matter what. It’s also a dangerous game because where is the line?

Kirk Franklin, Leandria Johnson, and Lecrae, and many others, were trying to get somewhere, so they chose the gospel route. The gospel route has a built-in audience and network of artists that they can tap into and move forward quicker. However, they did not have a heart for the Lord, passion for gospel music, and consideration for the Christian audience.
They, like Gangsta Rap artists, were just merely trying to get somewhere and used rap as a money grab; it is the same thing you see today with the women rapping. That's why there is a difference between Hip Hop and rap; Hip Hop is about the community and calling attention to its inequities, but rap is a money grab, arguing "f*ck the police," etc. Where are all those rappers who said that chant? They are rich, and you don't hear them say it anymore.
The same is true of Kirk, Leandria, and Lecrae. Lecrae was a Christian rapper for the longest, but when he started getting recognition from secular artists and earning a Grammy, he wanted to be called a rapper who happens to be a Christian. They were just trying to get somewhere, and now they are stuck. They are ironically mad at the church that embraced them and helped them further their purposes.

Great commentary - thank you. It seems to me that Kirk Franklin, like so many other children who has had a lot of “churching” rebel from the beliefs/teachings sooner or later. The restrictions, the misunderstanding and confusion of what they are taught to believe versus what they see and hear the clergy and the churchgoers doing causes some confusion of what’s really right or wrong. For most children…any questions raised are shunned upon.
I’m sure he’ll settle down one day, but until then, better discernment of his decisions and actions could greatly help him.

What I always got from Kirk is that he's a proformer that just so happens to be Christian after that he go back to regular life

Love when you said”you can make it through a day without sinning “ so true…. Why would the Christ tell the woman “sin no more “…. So many more examples in scripture about not sinning , but we don’t want to stop sinning, so we say “we all sin”
This man is legitimately having no a crisis of sorts because he’s got a fractured sense of self in his private and public personas. He clearly seems tired of the act of public perfection.
2 things can be true at the same time: as much as he “don’t care” what Christians think, he still knows in the eyes of the Lord his newest/modern pop star behavior is wrong
I believe Kirk does care what people think because it could hurt his brand. He's mad because he's worldly and has no interest in changing. It'll cost him too much. His admiration from the lost has proven lucrative. Holiness is a lifestyle that many proclaimed Christians are in rebellion towards and / or haven't truly been taught.

Basically Cam was doing what so #many claimers do in service ...when the pastor lightly glosses over #sinful acts...and they can leave #comfortable about continuing in their sin ..
Hi MVMO, can you do a podcast about the black Detroit judge who humiliated a homeless black teenage girl who came to tour the courthouse by having her stripped of her clothes, put in a jail jumpsuit , handcuffed and end up pleading for innocence because she fell asleep in the courtroom during a field trip.
Yes it was a doozy. Watched the whole interview from beginning to end. The only problem is Cam Newton. He does let the guest speak but his energy is very aggressive and it throws you off sometimes. Also his outfits....lawwwd Jesus.

I thought Kirk's interview was pretty good. His comments about his relationship with his biological mother were candid, and my heart went out to him as he told his story.
I also agree with Kirk's sentiments about the church weaponizing marriage or being single. People, especially women, are made to feel less than because they choose to be single or are single due to varying circumstances.
Side note: I didn't know Cam Newton is 6'5"!! 😲😉

I thought Cam Newton came to the interview very prepared. I say that by his line of questions. I thought Cam didn't know what to do with some of Kirk's answers and his emotions. In my opinion, Kerion and Kirk's relationship is difficult because Kerion is Kirk without the mask. I think their struggles and behaviors are similar. The difference is Kerion is aware and honest with most of his and Kirk is not. Both are very much aware of each other's struggles, but love one another enough to not share it with social media. I have watched Kirk Franklin over the years, and I see a decline in his behavior. I have no proof, but his patterns resemble someone struggling with some type of substance abuse. I had two sisters who were long-time drug abusers and some of Kirk's behaviors resemble my sisters, especially the one that lost the battle of drug abuse last year. I pray that I am wrong. This is just my opinion. However, I did like Cam's preparation for the interview, and I believe that within time, he will get much better.

I have always gotten the vibes that KF is a closeted man who is not living in his truth due to his career as a gospel singer and his core audience. Combined with the traumas of his youth, he seems very unhappy and frustrated because it appears that he is still living a lie.
If that is true I think he's doing what the church wants him to do which is to get married and be a heterosexual.

The interviewer knew kirk and admires kirk , i do think the church looks down on single women who don't have children , and or kids, i know i experience it daily .kirk seems very hurt about his mother not acknowledging his father, and it causes kirk to be doing too much trying to be in the world, and in christiandom. The sign that he compromises shows up in his dress style, he wears makeup, and was on a award show singing the lamb will lay and bow down to the goat. CHRIST IS THE LAMB THAT WAS SLAIN SACRFICE HIS LIFE FOR OUR SALVATION, AND THE HOAT REPRESENTS THE DEVIL, kirk needs to focus on his walk in GOD and examine his life that he is growing in CHRIST and not compromise and not backslid, in fact EVERY BELIEVER NEEDS TO DO SO !🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

I personally think that Kirk has a spiritual issue. He doesn't appear to live a life of REPENTANCE that produces FRUIT.

Kirk need to just move on Deborah and him dont get along and this truth he talking about his sister and a family intervention man please move on what did Kirk think Deborah was going to do or say. It really seem like Kirk is straddling the fence in life choices

I think Kirk has been battling his demons for a long time. Unfortunately, a good percentage of the Gospel industry is the same as the secular lusic industry. he's just a product of his surroundings. I don't think he's a Christain. he just says he's one.

I hope KF settles on doing what's right regarding his walk with God. Also, there seems to be a conflict between his beliefs and the basis of biblical references. Hopefully, he is working on changing this perspective to help himself.

I agree with your perspective on the Kirk Franklin interview and Cam too! Cam always does that in his interviews no matter who it is. Cam seems a little into himself excessively. I truly believe Keion Franklin was molested as a child and he wants to talk about it but has been silenced. Kirk Franklin is a fake in my humble opinion. One of the main reasons I don't subscribe to organized religion anymore is because of the hypocrisy, clicks, propaganda, politics and the false prophets in the Church that has done and still doing some of the most heinous things to children, the elderly, etc .. Personally I'm tired of the foolery!

I don't think that Kirk is a fraud. I feel that he has a lot of childhood trauma and unresolved pain. His mother is horrible and still 15 years old in her psychological/emotional state of mind. After two DNA test she refuses to give this man closure. Unfortunately trauma follows you through every stage of your life. I applaud Kirk for openly talking about his imperfect world. And as far as Cam's interviewing skills, he not a professionally trained journalist he's just a dude having conversations in his own way.

Totally agree! One thing I've always respected about Kirk is his willingness to be very transparent! About his pain, trauma, etc... something the church doesn't teach. It amazes me how church folks only look & judge at the surface of folks behavior. Church folks don't love like Jesus even though they preach it.... they love deflecting on others to cover their demons.
I do believe that Kirk is born again. I don't see how he could write the lyrics to some of his songs without having had an encounter with the Lord. I think if he wasn't truly saved, he would have left gospel music long ago. However, he may have drifted from the faith; I dont know. But God knows how to get the attention of his children and call them back to himself.
Even Satan knows the Word of God.
