I got depressed way too much, and had no choice but to fight back. I turned the loneliness into a weapon of productivity, driving it to my advantage. Microsoft's culture and work, life, balance and my manager motivated me a lot to be what I am today.
One sentence I tell myself to motivate -

Dont grind leetcode at a quicker pace. Go slowly but surely. You want to make sure your grind is sustainable. If you go at a faster pace, your brain wont be able to keep up and you will burn out and forget stuff. Same thing happened with me. Now I am back to being normal. I am just trying to enjoy the problems and solve them even if it takes a day or two to come up with a solution. All the best.

Thanks for sharing something so personal. I had a similar experience after I got my job and it took everything in me to get out of that zone. Then I started working out and meditating and it changed me completely. And the support of the family and friends of course. Sometimes it is good to hit rock bottom and then only you realise what you have and what really matters :)

One thing: why don't you try a hand at mindfulness? It is something that helped me a lot to overcome / fully manage OCD. It is really good for mental health and can help you to deal with your emotions better( i guess you are already good at that)

Just read this 2 books "The Secret" and "The Power of your subconscious mind" read them in the same order in which I have mentioned them... And I bet you you ll never see the bad days again.. and most importantly make your father read it if it is possible...
